Well, my picture is actually of me.. Smiley I'm upbeat and cheerful most of the time!

Yeah, I know. Just be careful. You'd be surprised what info can be found out about you from a simple picture or your BTC address and how easily it is to track you down. I've seen people have their lives ruined from a simple picture of a person being posted on the net. Wouldn't want to see that happen to a good person.

I'd say move away.

Yeah, that's a great idea, from a house I've lived in all my life and he's been living in not even two years.
19883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the minimum IQ needed to understand Bitcoin on a basic level? on: December 03, 2013, 10:48:09 PM
Scammers are some of the smartest people around.

Some scammers are smarter than some people around them. Fixed.

Scams can be absolute genius, but a lot of scammers are just as stupid and as naive as their victims. These multi-million $ Bitcoins heists and long-cons are not pulled off by plebs. As much as I hate them, they kinda have my respect in some ways.
19884  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your pic! on: December 03, 2013, 10:44:25 PM
She seems real to me! Smiley

I would love to see pics of actual forum users, myself.. Smiley

The pictures are real, just "Speaker" is not the girl, just some junkie loser. He's either just some guy pimping out a girl for a bit of BTC so he can get his heroin or whatever off Silk Road, or they're both in kahoots. Have you read the entire thread?

I am here and I have hitty things!

Also I think Speaker is gorgeous and have a little crush on her Smiley

Yeah, me too. I mean, whoever the girl in the photos is.

Do you have a crush on this guy?

Keep the Ron's coming.
19886  Other / Off-topic / My next door neighbour continually smokes weed every 2-3 hours in his garden... on: December 03, 2013, 09:46:04 PM
And it's doing my fucking head in. I have nothing against weed and am in fact pro-drugs, but this shit fucking reeks and often makes me feel sick. It's complete schwag weed and he continually coughs his guts up pretty much every-time he smokes it from 6 in the morning to midnight. He coughs so violently that I've heard him puke several times. My windows are always shut yet it still gets in and smells vile. What do I do? If I ask him to stop doing it, I doubt he will. Do I threaten him with the police if he refuses? I don't want to do that, but this shit is making me feel physically sick, especially when he barfs. He lives with his grandad who has hated me since I was a child. He even attacked me on one occasion for no reason what-so-ever. I don't mind his grandson smoking it as long as I can't smell it or hear him. He also has a 1-2-year-old girl and often leaves her in the house whilst he goes outside to smoke. I can hear her crying and screaming whilst he's outside. He's a stupid skinny degenerate thieving Jeremy Kyle reject chav. I also believe I could kick the living shit out of him if it came to it, but I'm a pacifist and will only fight if I'm attacked and there's no other options.

And who the fuck actually gets addicted to weed? I mean seriously.

Wut do? Please advise.
19887  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan of lowest possible BTC on: December 03, 2013, 09:24:53 PM
Will give 0.00000001 BTC loan for 1 LTC collateral  Cool.
19888  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your pic! on: December 03, 2013, 09:20:10 PM
Not sure why people have started posting random pictures, anyhow I wouldn't share my identity but that's just me.

It became a Ron thread because Speaker is Ron Butts.

19889  Economy / Goods / Re: The Batmobile: Matte Black 6.2L SS/RS Camaro - 22 BTC on: December 03, 2013, 09:15:05 PM
In the second picture it looks like a small toy car Grin

Haha. Maybe it's a camera trick and is just shot from certain perspectives haha.

But yeah, that's a sexy looking car.

I've definitely done that illusion with a few toy cars I have (one of which is a toy camaro replica of this car haha)

+ Bump +

Post a pic of a human standing next to this car, or I don't believe you haha  Grin

Would be so funny if somebody did buy a toy car thinking it was a full-size one. I'm sure it's happened before. Somebody on ebay recenly paid £300 for an Xbox One Box with no console. They obviously didn't read the listing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Microsoft-Xbox-One-Day-One-Edition-Console-Box-Only-/251391327470?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a88173cee
19890  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto, person of the year 2013? on: December 03, 2013, 09:06:47 PM
Am i the only one that is super surprised that satoshi and bitcoin made it to that list  Shocked Shocked
I voted but my prediction for the winner is either snowden or the pope.

Maybe Obama will win for the same reason he won the Nobel prize in 2009 Roll Eyes

For killing arabs/muslims and doing pretty much the exact opposite of everything he said he would/wouldn't do?

I was wondering if Satoshi could win something like this or Time's Person of the year award or whatnot. Didn't Anonymous win it one year?

I'd vote for Edward Snowden. I'm not sure Bitcoin has broken through enough into the mainstream yet. Maybe next year.
19891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do scammers and criminals harm bitcoin? on: December 03, 2013, 09:02:21 PM
How much do bank robbers and counterfeit money-makers hurt fiat?
19892  Other / Off-topic / Re: When will amazon accept BITCOINS??? They can deliver items via DRONEs now... on: December 03, 2013, 08:56:18 PM
They have to get approval first, and I can't see how it'd be cheaper for them to use 'em rather than just sticking with conventional delivery methods. It's obvious people will steal/damage/break/troll them. Plus there'll probably be lawsuits when they start crashing into houses or dropping packages onto peoples' heads etc. They also just leave your package in the garden. Seems destined to fail if you ask me.
19893  Other / Off-topic / Re: Silkroad 2.0 on: December 03, 2013, 08:51:01 PM
Aren't the majority of people imprisoned in the US due to drug related charges actually users with only small amounts of drugs found with them?

Only if you're black or poor, but I don't think Feds waste time going after petty drug dealers. Could be wrong though.
19894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of money TV series (Kickstarter) on: December 03, 2013, 08:49:11 PM
I might of missed it, but did they mention anything about BTC/cryptos?

Can you donate to kickstarter via BTC?

And that woman is pretty lush. She kinda looks like Gianna Michaels lol.
19895  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 70 LTC loan for a period of 120 days will return 80 LTC back. on: December 03, 2013, 08:39:10 PM
how many of these guys actually get a loan?

I think you'd be surprised. Usually they try build up a fair few posts first, but asking for a loan with less than ten is just lazy. Can't blame 'em for trying I guess.
Not even the most active members should be trusted... Look at what TF did.

I personally don't trust anyone but myself, but unfortunately on here you've gotta give a little if you want to make some money or sell stuff. The thing is doing some research on all parties involved as to minimise risk. Any half-dent scammer would be in it for the long con any way. You get them to trust you explicitly before you make off with the biggest load of loot as soon as they drop their guard. This is why I'm wary of Escrow-ers too. Yeah, they can appear trustworthy keeping hold of a bitcoin or two, but maybe they're just waiting out for somebody to send them that big 100BTC then boom; they're gone like a fart in the wind.

Above average intelligence in Bitcoinland?  Hummmm, I don't know. How many people here have fallen for scams like Pirateat40 pulled even with other people screaming at them "it's a scam you fucking idiot"?

People can be academically smart, but socially naive or stupid and make poor decisions etc. I know some pretty slack people who've got degrees.
19899  Other / Off-topic / Re: Silkroad 2.0 on: December 03, 2013, 08:16:49 PM
Where did U find this info?
It's available on the internet.

I wouldn't buy anything which could harm my privacy and freedom.

Don't forget that TOR browser was made from US Military, they could been working on a new SilkRoad and track you.

I heard there were quite a few undercover cops posing as dealers on SR, so they could get the addresses of buyers and arrest them.

feds are more interested in busting vendors. and what's the point in having undercover accounts when you could easily bust the people who provided their personal info without PGP encryption? lots of buyers didn't, quite possibly because they are junkies/addicts.

Yeah, I doubt they're gonna waste their time trying to catch little Jimmy Bob trying to be an eight of quality weed. And besides, I think it may fall under entrapment if they set the vendor account up themselves. They could maybe bust a vendor and take over his account and that would be legit, but I don't think they can keep shipping out the drugs, so I'm sure somebody will know something is up when a top-rated vendor's packages suddenly stop arriving. Feds go after dealers and suppliers, not waste their time on small time users.

You aren't a lawyer are you? Do you know what entrapment means?

Buying drugs from a cop is not entrapment, buying drugs from an undercover cop is not entrapment.

Cops extorting money for hacked leaked user accounts, then easily making available a hitman for hire (who is an undercover) is borderline entrapment.

Are you a lawyer? I didn't say it definitely did, I said I think it may.

"In criminal law, entrapment is when a law enforcement agent induces a person to commit an offense that the person would have otherwise been unlikely to commit."

If a cop comes up to me on he street and asks me if I want to buy drugs and I say yes, I believe that is entrapment. You could argue that they're already on Silk Road so there's arguably no enticement, but what if there’s a user who is on there and he only buys legitimate things - Alpaca socks and Kinder Eggs or whatnot. He stumbles across the feds page offering too-good to be true deals on weed who are claiming "it's so good you won't believe" or "it has to be tried to believed" or whatever other BS, and the guy decides see what all the fuss is about and and takes the plunge. I believe you could argue that this was entrapment, but as you say, I'm not a lawyer.

I reckon you could also claim it wasn't you that ordered the package, but my main point still stands; Feds aren't interested in going after people buying eighths of weed on the internet.

I can make very good business shotting those drones down...

This. I would order stuff, wait for it to be delivered, then try either capture them or smash 'em to bits with a baseball bat.

They will probably fly high enough it will be hard to get one unless you actually go into somebodies yard and try to steal it. Probably not the smartest crime to commit.

Going on private property stealing a drone that is recording your face and sending it to police.

They fly down and drop the package on your lawn. Watch the video. They're not huge military drones dropping packages as bombs. And I would be wearing this:
