Any chance of Aion (equihash 210_9) support?
|
|

Can you add 210,9 for AION? EWBF just added it, I'd like to see an alternative.

I got error: Stratum authorization when i tried to mine AION on many pool and got 100% reject shares :<. Can you check and fix this. Its like this is for solo mining only T.T
Same problem here. You are likely using a wrong address or specifying the wrong pers value. Only mainnet Aion is mineable, addresses start with 0xa and you will need to download and generate such an address using the Aion Kernel. I see many people trying to mine with an Ethereum Address, the Aion ERC20 token is not mineable. The personalisation line is optional (recommend leaving it out), if you do include it make sure it's correct: AION0PoW otherwise you'll get errors.

Little help for aion mine
lot of pool need aion wallet starting with 0xa Your binance wallet starting 0x
FYI Binance does not list the native Aion coin (Aion-1), they have the Aion ERC20 Token. You will not be able to send your mined Aion-1 coins to Binance. You'll likely need await for Aion Bridge release to do token swaps unless Binance adds another Aion-1 market in the interim. I'd also recommend NOT exporting your privatekey from the encrypted keystore file, just backup the keystore file; no need to expose raw privatekeys unless you're very secure about doing so.

![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn1.savepice.ru%2Fuploads%2F2018%2F3%2F29%2F47b57d183a252b06a055351a8f2734a8-full.jpg&t=663&c=V2m1CK67mtnXzg) This is good news, I expect GLC growth in May You know Global Holdings is a complete scam, a ponzi that has just taken the GlobalCoin website over and then pretending to be the owners of this huge company using new blockchain tech and they are selling this to poor gullible fools. They are not the developers, the developers left years ago and there's been no updates to critical security issues for the core code. The Global Holdings "company" has elaborate and expensive parties in China getting fools to buy "Global Holdings stock", these scammers have made a lot of money, check their youtube videos to see the effort and turnouts to their scam events. No GlobalCoin changes hands for these people, they are buying $10,000 USD packages of stocks and get a piece of paper, they are promised stock splits to give them double, triple or quadruple their money. Again no GlobalCoin is traded here with this company, they are only using the coin as the face of their blockchain hype after somehow acquiring the globalcoin domain name, likely due to the developers letting it expire because they left this project ages ago. GlobalCoin is barely alive with 1-2mhs of scrypt hashrate, that's NO security. No transactions take place and next to no trades occur on the only exchange it's available on. The coin can be attacked and effectively destroyed by just one miner having that lower hashrate too. Shame on these scammers.p.s and to add insult to injury, the number 1 GLC wallet is in possession of nearly 40% all coins, which are actually the stolen GlobalCoin from the hacked and now defunct Crypsty exchange, the hacker has been moving them recently too so they aren't just sitting there, if there's any sort of buy volume you can guarentee that won't last long when they dump. TLDR; STAY AWAY@Cartman I would take your pool offline as to not aid the scammers in anyway too.

Hi, I'd like to run a staking node and have a couple of questions.
1. Is the current GUI release (v2.2.0.1) optimal or should I compile from source? (will be on Linux Mint) 2. Is it advisable to have a rubycoin.conf file configured with RPC user/pass or is it locked down without?
Also it seems development focus is on the TradderDaddy platform (which is awesome) but is there any further development plans for Rubycoin itself?
Thanks!

Also, can you please update the main post. Clean out the dead websites/services and add download links? (suggest using github releases)

Ok quick update the new client/wallet should be available to the public at the beginning of October. The work has been done and will start sending out to services etc first. I will be compiling it this weekend for some test and then hopefully we can get the ball rolling again and get GLC where it should be.... Right next to Bitcoin ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) What are the updates? Also, are you involved with the "Global Holdings" company: globalcoin.info & glbcoin.com - if not, have you been contacted by them? What can you tell us about this: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBfCrD-sGr_x_pDpdXF0GBw

So what's the deal then, is the developer still around, is anyone actually working on this coin or is it just being used in some expensive ponzi scam?

Is anyone here actually clued in as to what this whole "Global Holdings" thing is about?
Those are some pretty lavish looking events they're holding... and they are definitely promoting Globalcoin. The logo for Global Holdings is different to GLC but that's their "company" which apparently will use GLC for all their services?
Their other videos they clearly present GLC, and it is indeed this GLC from this thread, the same logo, specs and services (blockexplorer etc) is referenced, and the globalcoin.info site says it is owned by "Global Holdings" too...
I'm surprised with all the fuss they seem to be making around GLC that there's been no presence here nor anywhere else that I can find... and the price of GLC itself remains pretty flat...
