ORA market is too quiet of late. Shaking the tree. :-)~

Perhaps a Rorschach test is in order to find out what is really going on. I seriously doubt they colluded on the matter of the logo. If our dev team was really out to get us they could easily install some java back doors and take us all the way to the bank laughing.

Our dev team needs to be supported by the community. They are working hard to move forward. The community decided not to clone another coin, it takes work to build from scratch.

We are entering an interesting time in cryptoland. Cryptocurrencies will most likely be outlawed in most places, heavy red tape and the influence of gov are around the corner. It is up to us to decide if NEM is truly a community driven project or has degraded into a few devs and a lot of 'give me, give me' folks.

Everyone is busy and has multiple interest. Find a way to help and stop bitching.  At least our team is honest and is keeping us updated, they could release today and we would have a working client and a fully functioning blockchain but they want to deliver something special so they are working on it.

Just my 2 cents from my experience in cryptoland.

I think I saw two people visit today. Will turn this over to kora when I see him on there. I will be lurking when I am online, considering if coding a tipbot for the chat that transfers assets is useful.  Much rather wait until we have a real wallet.

Great job. I think our biggest goal should be to have clear deliverables.  Meet the core goal of being a decentralized secure crypto currency and release. After the wallet is online and the chain is healthy, take the time to build up a new release with a plan to develop all the cool things.
Follow the KISS model and get something working that is strong and extensible.

The Asset will never be for-sale by the asset issuer. Only way to become a member is to have more than 1 million ORA at some point or buy from someone that is willing to sell their membership. Accounts will only be issued 1 Oramillion membership asset, so if they sell it they are out of luck if they want another one. Some effort will be used to review millionaire accounts to verify they are not just moving 1 million ora around to get multiple memberships.

Maybe people are starting to realize that unlike nem all of the ora coins are released on the asset exchange and no others will be made so the price discovery has already started.

Maybe people are realizing that a value of 0.25 nxt per ora is a real possibility once the dev team releases the timeline and plan.

I like ora, I like the way it was an honest project from the start. A real possibility will be that once the wallet and real coins are released, the asset can be used as a real-time exchange of ora/nxt at any time.

Disclaimer: I have a big bag of ora, nem, nxt and a lot of other alts.

Perhaps a price speculation thread should be started?  Over-all the price is where it is since we appear to be spending a lot of time discussing the less meaty aspect of logo design instead of the technical improvements that are going on behind the scenes. I was away a week or so and on catching up this thread looks a bit unorganized with all the back and forth of late. You guys do a great job of keeping the first post updated btw. Thank you for all the effort. Most of the devs are busy working and I am sure are quite amused at the logo vote.
