I'll get in touch with xtester to issue them asap. (Don't want anyone to start crying over this)
The thing is I wasn't even around when that message was posted by Jaguar so there were things to be clarified. When we finally had everything together I posted the message and that was on a monday afternoon which for me made it clear that the following monday will be the first to issue tokens.
Thanks for clearing this up Pat!! @ contraband Everything will be ok, Pat is on it Well I can't promise anything. It may be tomorrow since I can't reach xtester right now. I am making my check now and hopefully tomorrow the assets will be issued. Will be in contact with Pat so we can make this happen.

If people didn't realize yet, I try not to be a dumbass,
That's your opinion. You sound an awful lot like Utopian Future to me. You are both full of the same faux idealism and grandiosity. Just comparing him to what Satoshi accomplished is hilariously ignorant.

I can't wait until this coin is launched and we can put all this behind us +1 ok lets get some positive discussion going. iv got a list of news outlets but i know its not a complete list and im missing some. would be great if someone could jump in a make suggestions for ones iv missed. cryptoarticles cryptocoinsnews coindesk cryptolife cryptopros zerohedge cryptologs cryptohedge bitcoin foundation bitcoin magazine ibtimes newsBTC forexminute motherboard finextra wall street journal cointelegraph techchronicals forbes financial times bitcoin owl
is there anyone among our community that has a large following on twitter or friends with a large following that you could bring into nem or get them to tweet stuff for you? same goes for facebook? if so please let me know and we can put you down as a contact when the masses need to be told about any cool releases etc. ok we need to get some good ideas flowing around here. we need to bring in new users. the raffle is good and all but we cant just stop at that. we need to attract attention from the masses outside of the crypto 2.0 circle that we currently draw most attention from. to help push this and get some real juices flowing im going to put up a bounty of .1 nem stake for the best marketing idea,(just to be clear this is out of my personal funds) but for the .1 to be awarded it must be something not thought of before ie. a unique idea that hasnt been done in the crypto space, so dont say "give money to charity" or anything unimaginative like that. it must also be implemented by the team at some stage in order for it to be a valid winner. also, there isnt a guaranteed winner. if there isnt an idea thats deemed suitable/good enough by me or the core team then the .1 wont be awarded to anyone. i reserve the right to include new rules or modify current rules if people start taking the mick for any reason. (precautionary measure). lets rock and roll! For our NEM auction or other press releases, we can use PRWeb. They reach 30,000 journalists, bloggers and influencers. The financial package is only $499. It includes Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, New York Times, USA Today, Associated Press, etc... A lot of bang for the buck. If it gets picked-up by just one good journalist, it will be money well spent. http://service.prweb.com/pricing/package/financial/

Correct. That depends on what happens when all coins are released, as there would be some who will dump them, for sure, lowering the price. Only around 500 stakes are tradeable.

That's your opinion. You sound an awful lot like Utopian Future to me. You are both full of the same faux idealism and grandiosity. Just comparing him to what Satoshi accomplished is hilariously ignorant. I compared UP to Satoshi? San you quote that, instead of my admission that at times I fail. I do like myself being compared to UP tho, I have much respect for him. UP persona I liked. UP is not a real person, you see. Real person made up UP yes. That is one of the remarkable things of BTT. I am not trying to be him either. But we agree on many things, but also disagree as well. For those of you that don't like to hear of him don't take offense. If NEM is around in 1000 years, he will still be talked about, as he was the founder. Just like in 1000 years they will still speak of Jaguar, the lead developer of such a remarkable system. I'm not going to name you all again today, I did once tho. Or is is already tomm. Again, great job to all of you, you deserve everything you get, anyone who disagrees, l will be there to fight lol

There should be a handout created for NEM targeted for people completely new to digital currencies. It should be brochure like, easy for anyone to print out. Make it as simple as possible, explain the idea of digital currencies as a whole and then what approach NEM is taking. People involved in the swarm team could print these off and post them locally on bulletins or hand them out by hand on streets, campuses, local events.
Going further, we could put a message inside some of the brochure offering free X amount of NEM (we could include what market value this would be in $) for anyone potentially interested in getting involved with the project. We could make the brochures unique by serial numbers and have them redeem them after creating an account on the Nem forums.
Does this seem like a realistic marketing idea?
No. Bitcoin itself is only used by a million people around the world. Getting people to use crypto currencies is an education campaign and a simple brochure (even with measly freebies attached - which I don't like) would have a very low effectiveness rate. I've seen the marketing strategies used by Litecoin and Dogecoin. Back in 2013 they were spamming on large internet forums like Bodybuilding but it wasn't an education campaign "why you should use cryptos" but more like "hear about dat Bitcoin chyieet? Well throw money at Litecoin and make $$$$" However unethical it was for LTC / Doge people to pass off their coin as a money flipping opportunity, I don't think anyone on their forum ever writes: "hey guys, remember in 2013 when you were passing off money flipping opportunities to random people on the internet?". That method they used was effective in the sense that Doge was able to hit $60 million and LTC is still the Prince to BTC and I was around (albeit not registered on BTT at the time) to see its' raise. Ironically it was those LTC money flipping threads on websites like Bodybuilding that made me lurk on Bitcointalk. People don't need handouts or brochures. People need simple and impossible to screw up mobile apps. Agreed. Make a stupid simple mobile app that feels low intensity and designed to be social instead of institutional and your value will increase organically because of the viral effect. If people go "what is this thing in the top 100" on the store and its stupid simple when they run it because they heard about it from a friend, it will happen naturally. You get it in the top 100 in the first place just by making it a social currency by using gamification or some other simple / fun app that ties in to the real block chain. Maybe it's currency for an MMO game on mobile or whatever. As long as your API is solid, people can tie in to it in a variety of ways with viral apps on mobile. If it isn't easy and it isn't mobile, you'll never hit critical mass. You could have a variety of different apps that do different things (maybe one is a game, maybe one is a "friends bar tab" app) but both use the real block chain underneath. The same dollar that buys bubblegum can also buy a Ferrari, and that is the point. The more uses it has the more value it has. Really good point.

Good question. There is a 2 stake limit on redeeming NEMstake.
Which is of course ridiculous limit as the stakes were bought on open exchange.. Unless you want to add even more stakes to "development funds" by stealing stakes from users who bought them . I wonder what will that do Nem credibility?
