pfff... There are as many types of values as you want. I'd say Feathercoin has community value. And if it survives current difficulty adjustment, i think it could go far.

Definately this subforum is way too small for still growing community of altcoiners. Few suggestions:

1. Is it really good idea letting coin releasers moderate their sections? I mean then they can censor all criticism.
2. Please make it possible to login without a password. Just using Google, Facebook or whatever. People hate logging in with passwords. New forum should make signing up and logging as simple as possible, if you want to gain more popularity.

I vote on relaunch.
YACoin start was really suspicious. Anyway the idea of coin for CPU miners looks attractive. So I say lets clone it, but make a fair one.

OK, FC still has some support. But there is major problem. Basically no matter what you do, people will still see feathercoin as litecoin's clone. Any ideas on changing that?

I agree. If you need a good logo, you need some kind of symbol. Letters are are hard to make into good looking.

As I understand, when there is suddenly less miners they have a great chance of finding more blocks because there are less competitors. So they get more coins than before. Am I right?

Did you guys notice that the release was announced in 24 hours? I think that's not the same as release after exactly 24 hours. Anyway if the truth is out there, it should be any time now.

However the announcer seems to be gone for quite a long time. Just saying, this doesn't look very trustworthy.

This is just stupid. Ok, it's not premined. But why couldn't there be announcement at least 24 hours before? Why not make it damn hard to mine in the begining? Why split such a big share of all bars among few people?

The only good thing about bitbar is that it really shows how fishy is the value of all cryptocoins. It's up to everyone to get that (or not).

The question is whether any of them needs to supersede other or maybe they can both go along just fine.
