21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2018, 06:35:25 PM
Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh
The challenges that the bitcoin currently facing is not hard as you think, bitcoin can easily surpass it challenges because it has potential in the cryptocurrency market. I do not know why many people are keep telling that it is now over even though it is not.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why does coins change price constantly? on: August 20, 2018, 02:19:51 PM
Why does coins prices fluctuate so much and it is never been constant making predicting price much harder and much riskier and holding on to coins can be the best way right now.

why does it change prices constantly and never stagnant?

Who says the price has never been stagnant? ..., try you pay close attention in the last three days. Price fluctuations are the main attraction for cryptocurrencies maybe we can call them crypto auras. We can see, not a few big investors who involve themselves in this type of investment. For me cryptocurrency is a magnet for investors.
Well probably investors are not stable too. The market varies on its users in where if there are more users or somewhat called investors then probably the value will rise. People tends to believe in fake news easily and tends to invest when there are good news. It is not really good for the crypto. What crypto needs are those loyal and those people who trusted it.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when the price of Bitcoin falls below the cost of mining? on: August 20, 2018, 11:02:36 AM
If the price of bitcoin is below the mining price, the first time it will get a bad impact is bitcoin miners, then the traders and temporary bitcoin holders. they will feel panic and might stop their activities.

At the same time they might seek for something for them to have a replacement to mining that will cost less and they can earn more. If people tends to love what they are dong, they will probably seek for ways. Therefore if it happens some may leave crypto but those who believes in bitcoin will probably find there way.

It will give big impact for miners if bitcoin price below mining cost. Miners will move to mine others profitable coin because peoples who involve in crypto must be looking for profits. Maybe bitcoin transaction will more slower than before price drop
At the same time they might seek for something for them to have a replacement to mining that will cost less and they can earn more. If people tends to love what they are dong, they will probably seek for ways. Therefore if it happens some may leave crypto but those who believes in bitcoin will probably find there way.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons behind Bitcoin/Cryptomarket fall??? on: August 18, 2018, 09:36:47 AM
Hi Friends,
What are the reason behind Bitcoin and whole crypto market fall.
Is this SCAMS or SPECULATIONS???

Few days back I read news about a big Bitcoin scam busted in Gujarat state of India. Its approximately $314B( INR 22000 Crore).
Also every day news came from different parts of world about same kind of scams. Are these scams also responsible for crypto market fall and halt growth of this new technology???
This are the reasons why people or the users tend to panic then sell there investment because of the fear that bitcoin will not rise again. And also there are fake news that are spreading in which those are just false accusations about bitcoin. This should be prevented. That is why maybe the newbies are afraid to start with bitcoin. But then, if you enter in crypto currency you need to be smart enough to understand things that happened like this. Bitcoin will not disappoint us.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2018, 12:00:56 PM
Bitcoin greatly influences price movements in the crypto market, I see every coin that is always moving following the price movement of bitcoin. This means that without bitcoin, the crypto market will become weak and maybe many people will leave the market. The future of crypto market will be very bad and may be lost without bitcoin, because bitcoin gives meaning to the future development of the crypto market.
And probably if bitcoin is not there, there is no digital world at all. As per the research, the other coin are just dependent on the bitcoin where as if the bitcoin rise the other coins will also, and if the bitcoin falls the other coins will also be affected that is how powerful bitcoin was. That is why bitcoin is the king and no other coins will take this away from bitcoin.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: August 15, 2018, 02:05:30 PM
There is no chance to get of profiting in the crypto showcase yet to sit tight for perfect time and unquestionably you will get back your cost and make benefit too. In crypto there is a constantly one side development. In the event that it is falling at that point no body say where it will stop thus for upward development. Be that as it may, If you need to make some better than average measure of cryptographic money at that point go for abundance work and acquire free coin at that point hold this and offer in great benefit.
You can probably grab this opportunity to buy more coins, then you save it, or somewhat hold it, keep it. With this if the time comes that the market will rise then surely you will earn profit. In investing you seek for profit and investing in a low market with high potential is a wise thing to do. Falling market could be turn into a well risen market, there is always after a rain.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer virus used to steal cryptos? on: August 15, 2018, 01:13:09 PM
It could be one of the reason why bitcoin is going down because of the hackers once they hacked an account or a wallet they gonna send to their address and withdraw all. Let's be careful what we download might contain virus that can steal your cryptos, double check the URL and it has high security when you try to trade in exchanges.
This kind of thing proves that people are indeed using someone's weakness in order to gain something. That is the problem of people of today. They did not feel the contentment instead they do bad things in order to be on top of everyone. This implies that the users should take good care of their computer, not just their wallet. In this case, even this is like to steal bitcoin, it simple means that bitcoin is very important today.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: August 10, 2018, 11:31:20 AM
Well probably you need to be wise in choosing. You indeed needed to do research in able to secure or in able to prove how reliable the campaign or the bounty you are going to pick. Do not believe easily on anyone, you need to think critically at the same time choose wisely. Moreover do not settle for just one,  you can earn you only need to be wise.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not for people who want permanent money! on: August 10, 2018, 09:02:26 AM
Well then crypto is not for people who wanted to be rich in a snap. Not for people who expected permanent income, because we can not tell how long can it live, it may even survive centuries. No one knows the future, but there are predictions. But the thing is, cryptocurrency is still in the process, we just need to be wise in everything.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2018, 01:26:35 PM
Well, for my own opinion regarding this question, my answer is Yes. Why yes? Because other crypto currencies has their own way  of life here in the crypto currency community. I know that you all know also as well as aware that the start of the crypto currency community is the existence of the Bitcoin as it is the King of all any other crypto currency but the thing that crypto currency cannot live is not the Bitcoin but the users.
There is no way the other coin will surpass bitcoin, because bitcoin has a lot of advantages. First is that bitcoin lives longer time than the other coin, and as time passes by bitcoin get more stronger. Moreover, bitcoin is the most popular coins as of this moment where more people are inclined into bitcoin. There is also a huge potential in bitcoin.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: August 09, 2018, 10:55:09 AM
Price movement often decreases continuously and it can't lead to the higher direction such as price movements in the past year, this makes more many people like already frustrate, and judge. that it's over. But behind that's all, anyhow it hasn't ensured that would be more and more people will no longer trust in Bitcoin, it's not over yet.
Indeed bitcoin is not over yet with the price volatility is a usual situation in the market. Even price struggling at all times I believe btc can recover. I had a high hopes on bitcoin that we can see it could rise again.
People who believes with these are fools and innocent on what is really going on, and maybe a person that seems like born yesterday. People who easily believes with a mere information without proof. This is not going to happen. Bitcoin continuously gives everyone ease. It provides need. This is the good thing about bitcoin, so this is far from reality.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2018, 02:01:52 PM
which happens to cryptocurrency without bitcoin, I think there will be fewer investors, and will probably have a bad impact on altcoin prices. bitcoin is like a mother, which is the inspiration for other altcoin.
and I think it's possible that another altcoin will replace bitcoin, because altcoin like ethereum keeps rising. but do not know if bitcoin is lost, cryptocurrency will be more interesting or not.
Absolutely No, because of bitcoin crypto world became famous around the world and if bitcoin is gone, crypto will end up badly, maybe it can stay around 1 to 2 years but it will go down. Because no one will invest on it, most of the investors in crypto invest in bitcoin and if bitcoin is gone also the investors will gone.
This is a great argument indeed. In terms of seniority bitcoin exist more than the other coin and this what makes the other coins dependent to it. Moreover there are more people who believes more on bitcoin rather than the other coins because of its potential in the market, and that is one of the advantage of bitcoin. Bitcoin has a lot more difference with other coin, so i firmly believe that bitcoin is the reason why there is still cryptocurrency.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: August 08, 2018, 12:12:13 PM
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

Bitcoin is not a scam. You can tell it if you really know how to invest and tried it. For me I am investing in bitcoin since I started to know about cryptocurrency. There are just some people using bitcoin as a scam that's why many people are not believing in it.
If you scammed once then make sure you will not scammed twice. It is a lesson kn life where it told you to study people more or the characteristics of a person. If you are about to invest, be sure that you will invest in a reliable company, with good history and the same time clear background. Do not trust easily because people tends to do bad thing when it concerns money. Especially now that bitcoin is growing, beware.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 12, 2018, 12:32:55 PM

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?
Blockchain proved itself in the cryptocurrency world. And as we all know, blockchain has a lot of uses not only in the cryptocurrency world specially on the well known ones that is been recognized and trusted. One of which is in the social media sites. If bitcoin hadn't been invented, blockchain could find home in fortifying security features of social media sites.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people treat BTC as ponzi scheme? on: June 11, 2018, 11:35:41 AM
I really wonder to some people who think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It has made so many people rich and doing better till now.
But I don't understand the reason behind this type of thought?
Many people describe bitcoin as being a large-scale ponzi scheme mainly because without users and investors, bitcoin would pretty much be dead right now. And the increase or decrease of its users vastly affects its value. That is why it is regarded by many as a ponzi scheme.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market? on: June 11, 2018, 10:43:04 AM
In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

As we all know bitcoin is ever-increasing in both users and value, but we all know that bitcoin as a currency, is mediocre at best compared to the upcoming and the readily available altcoins in the market. And altcoin industry is making a reputation in the crypto world right now so we can't really tell who will dominate the market in the upcoming years.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: June 09, 2018, 11:29:19 AM
Is no longer news that various countries of the world are not in support of Bitcoin either as a means of payments or for trading purpose. This are been a challenges most Bitcoin users are facing throughout the countries of the world inexception of few countries.

I have begin to see it that maybe they are thinking that adoptions of Bitcoin might bring a partial collapse of the banking system and also a means of curbing money laundering.
So, let hear your views on what can be done to make our government realised the important of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology.
If a certain local government were to lift a ban against bitcoin use and operation in their territory, they must first find good in the cryptocurrency. Maqybe by making them find the  benefits of bitcoin to a certain country's economy could help, as it could open their eyes that bitcoin is not harmful to their country's economical growth.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: June 08, 2018, 11:50:24 AM
Seoul Mayor Plans to Unveil Better Self Crypto for Stratup Blockchain.

Park Woon-soon has announced that South Korea will launch its own crypto and create a better environment for startup companies Blockchain and cryptocurrency in the country. He wants to form a blockchain that is oriented like a startup industry and focuses on developing Seoul's cryptocurrency, 'S coin'.

One of the reasons for the development of 'S coin' is to improve the transparency of governance that exists there. Although the Korean government initially applied very strict rules against cryptocurrency.

what do you think about this? is this good news about the development of cryptocurrency in the future?
Another centralized cryptocurrency availabpe only on the locallity to where it was made? I don't think it's a good idea. But it is a good step towards global recognition of cryptocurrencies. To think that the South Korean Government laid their eyes with interest on cryptocurrencies means that there is still hope for total global acceptance for bitcoin.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 08, 2018, 01:30:39 AM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?
When it comes to amount of risks, there is no dpubt that it is bitcoin that has the most number of risks. To be honest the industey thrives in the amount of risks. On the other hand, there is bank investments with little to no risk in investment at all. But among the two, tgere is no doubt that bitcoin investment is way more profitable than the "safe" bank investment.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: June 08, 2018, 01:23:54 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.
For the past years we see bitcoin in tge market on the undisputed and undefeated number one spot of the most revered to or most crowdfunded cryptocurrency. There might be competitors, but are not as big abd as established as bitcoin itself. I think bitcoin will remain dominant in the market until a good cryptocurrency with striking features abd projects arises.
