21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO MARKET SITUATION. on: January 02, 2019, 06:41:32 AM
I admit honestly, two weeks ago I had very serious doubts that this short-term growth in the cryptocurrency market is true, but now I have rejected all my doubts trying to invest as much as possible in the maximum number of interesting projects because I believe that this possibility may not happen again more this year.
That is one definite thing but I still believe we are gradually approaching that phase of recovery as far as I am concerned. It is interesting to see that we have ended up seeing the market this low anyway even with all the believe that we might actually be seeing some pretty good bounce even from $6k. Now, we have $3k as the next psychological support, let's see how this goes from here. The situation is bearable, as that is more like giving a chance to every one to be a part of the market as a whole, but all that is still something that has to do with those who understand what they are getting into and what the future holds.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves knock out Ethereum on: December 23, 2018, 05:25:59 PM
I also like what the Waves team has done to the platform. They have come a long way.

Whether or not it will take the place of Ethereum remains to be seen.
We are also expecting some updates on the network by 2019 and 2020. We'll see how it goes.
They honestly have really come a very long way as far as I am concerned. It is nothing new that the waves platform if care is not taken, over the years have been believed to take over the smart contract space. I know it is still too early to be judging and predicting what the future holds, but at least with the way things are going, it has a good chance for the future of smart contract usage.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: valuable litecoin. on: December 22, 2018, 01:38:44 PM
Do you think Litecoin has more value and potential than Eth or BTC?
Litecoin has literally no community, no development, it's a copy+paste shitcoin whose creator abandoned it.
It's the most expensive testnet in the world. Just a reminder - the ETH testnet coins cost $0. That's where this garbage is headed
I would not say it has no community or development, but one certain thing is that it will remain a coin that lives under the shadow of bitcoin. Probably, that would have been one of the reasons why the captain of the boat decided to jump out. I am even surprised that even till now, it has managed to push through till this stage. Time obviously will tell what becomes of Litecoin eventually but to think of it, it is a speculative market, and still a lot better than most coins.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP & The New Economy on: December 21, 2018, 01:52:07 PM
From last year a lot of blows up about XRP but this year is much more encouraging. In other words there is no reason for holder to sell cheap their assets. I also read that news a few days ago and indeed many banks are already cooperating from the months ago.
Sure, there is a lot going on with XRP in terms of development, but I am not sure if the OP or some of you guys understand basically that XRP is a whole lot centralized as compared to what the OP called it. I have never been a fan anyway, but even though they are doing a whole lot to stay relevant, it still does not change the fact that XRP is nothing but a centralized entity that should not even be classified as a cryptocurrency at all. Nonetheless, it is a speculative market, and if it makes me money as a trader in the short term, no shit! Sorry fans!!
25  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 21, 2018, 10:00:54 AM
I think what this Tim Draper said about entering the cryptomarket is true, we can never really tell whether the cryptomarket is gonna go on an up trend or it would go on a deep. I have heard many people saying that the prices are gonna go up but it didn't and it goes the other way around. I think, it really is up to the investor if he is gonna hit it big and earn whether the cryptomarket is good or looking bad.
I think for those who are mature in analysis, every day is profitable. they can take advantage of the market, so they can be consistently profitable at all times. so it depends on what we are looking at, about the statement
All time may be good, but sometimes, the right time can really be helpful and there is no way you can know a good or right time, if you do not have some little bit of trading skills with your investment as an investor, and that is basically one thing a lot of people do not have.

However, judging from the fact that the market is new, even if you do not have any trading skill to make use of, you can get into the market at any time, and focus on the long term, as that is the best way you can approach the market without being disturbed about the issues you see now with the downtrend which as far as I am concerned are always temporary, no matter how long it takes.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL IS THE BEST OPTION FOR ME NOW on: December 21, 2018, 07:45:12 AM
HODL is the best option now for all my altcoins. I will keep Hodling till the bearish market is over. Everyone was thinking that bull run will start toward the end of the year, instead, there is a consistent reduction in price. Let keep hodling next year will get better for everyone.
I want to know what you feel, is there still hope for the remaining 18 days before the year end?

The reason why the massive selling started in November is because everybody assumed that November would be a crazy bullish month like last year and in 2013 and they all bought at $6000 and went long on large leverage and when the $5800 yearly low broke it set off a huge sell off and we basically lost almost 50% value in 2 weeks.

If you looked at the Bitmex open interest there was about $500,000,000 worth of positions which were closed and almost all the longs were closed in losses. Hence many people got liquidated very fast and in large numbers.
Possibly the whales were all up in the market looking at the things a lot of people are saying and waiting for. Now, there is a huge possibility for a bounce at around $3k  as a psychological support, everyone is talking about it, and at times like that, those who always are fond of catching a falling knife always get hit by the market craze. Nonetheless, market is always usually this way, which is time for the bulls and time for the bears, so one way or the other, we just have to be patient now, and wait for the time for the bulls to get back into the market, as it will certainly come.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: December 20, 2018, 05:29:11 PM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,

Majority of the bounty hunters and crypto traders didn't get much profits this year including myself pal.
but of course, all bitcoin /crypto fanatic are still prevails in terms of believing that everything will going back
in a normal things whether crypto or bitcoin in the market.
Everything in life requires patience, and I guess this is pretty much just one of it. The thing about this year is that a lot of people simply would have learned their lessons from the market, but all the same, we still get the fact that the market cannot be bearish forever, so at some point, we will still get to see it reverse, but when is something we will just have to wait and see. One thing though is that recovery is always a lot more interesting after a bearish situation like this.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 1$ on: December 20, 2018, 11:00:58 AM
Thanks for the heads up stupid! We will just be buying more if this happens, but there is nothing logical with what you have said, and just someone trying to gain some recognition. Sure, it is a market, and it can even go down to zero, as long as it does not have any real life usage, people have lost hope and there is nothing left of it anymore to rely on. However, try to look around you and see if what you have said sound pretty reasonable at all.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better option for trading Bitcoin or stocks ? on: December 20, 2018, 07:30:44 AM
Hi guys , can you tell me which is better option for trading Bitcoin or stocks and how
You don’t trade stocks here, you trade them on forex and binary. And as for which is better, they are both good, but since you’re here why not focus more on cryptocurrency. By the time you dedicate more of your time and invest rightfully you will start making the level profit you need. Stock is good too but I’m not into that.

Nelsledma you have a point. This is forum about crypto-currencies, here people should focus on that.
For stock trading there are other forums.
Forex trading is trading with currencies, trading with crypto-currencies. I will dare to say that trading with
crypto-currencies is better cause that`s the future. Prices can rise a lot more. I doubt that value of Euro or
Dollar can go higher than Ethereum, Stellar, Ripple, and many others.
Firstly, the fact that it is a cryptocurrency forum does not necessarily mean you are only restricted to discussion on cryptocurrency. Moreover, what the OP asked is something involved with cryptocurrency trading anyway and all he is seeking for is opinion which is actually the usefulness of this forum in case you do not know. Secondly, he asked about stocks and not forex as they are totally two different things here.
What I just have for him basically is that, trading any market requires great deal of knowledge to be able to have a good plan and develop a good strategy with the plan. Simply put, if you have none of those, you will most definitely hit the same block road eventually in any market you find yourself as an individual.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin price will bottom out at $3000? on: December 19, 2018, 05:36:21 PM
I think it should.

As per CMC the total Market cap is only $121 billion. If the price of Bitcoin hits $3000, then the market cap approx will be $100 billion. I may be wrong in the calculation, but it will be less to what it is now. Which means most of the short term investors and panic sellers have left the market. Those who are left are either long term holders and big whales.
The only option left for these whales is to pump the price  at $3000 level.

What do you think? will stop at $3000 level or will it go further down

I believe bitcoins has already bottomed out at 3100$, and the panic sellers have left the market for good. As we have been seeing bitcoins prices touched 4k, but it came down to 3800$ As it could not sustain those levels. I feel it's finding resistance at 3500$ levels, and with the news of Nasdaq futures coming in a rally may soon be on cards hence I feel it should go upwards now.

it wont drop under 3000 dollar.
it is the deep level for bitcoin in 2019. and in 2020 it will go up and up.
i hope.
I can remember when a lot of people were busy saying it won't drop under $5800 some few weeks back. It is a market bro, and nothing is guaranteed, as we just have the trend to and price action to tell us what to anticipate. I believe however, that no matter how low the market goes, it is simply going to recover at some point, and that is when a lot of people would wish they never made the mistake of giving up on the market. Whether the market will end up bouncing at $3000 or not, only time will tell.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hot on: December 19, 2018, 11:43:55 AM
You should have seen how the whole idea of fork went off the hook last year/early this year. It became extremely disgusting at some point. It does not change anything anyway, a lot of people already know that forks are irrelevant and they are nothing but shit coins. Even the king of fork right now, BCH, is nothing but trash as far as I am concerned.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: December 19, 2018, 10:44:12 AM
That is quite a lengthy post with no direction at all. I got lost reading it from the start. However, in my own opinion as a trader, and most especially when you are a high volume trader, I guess it is obvious that with low fees, and high trading volume on the exchange, you have an upper hand, and that is one thing I know binance really do have as an edge over other exchanges that charges more in terms of trading fees.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the direction of the cryptocurrency in the future? on: December 17, 2018, 08:51:10 AM
I discovered those fake ICO are being reduced, I think some measures are working fast on that.
For those who have always been speaking negative of bitcoin in order to discourage people from their interest in bitcoin, that should not be a problem because as long as no one can discourage me, we also have people who cannot be discouraged. Moreso, it is not a must that every one in the world must accept bitcoin.if they have option.
Sure! With all certainty, looking at the rate at which investors are on the lookout, we can see the maturity in the space one way or the other compared to before when people tend not to even know what to look out for in a project before they invest, but now we have a community that is digging deep seriously on any project to confirm its legitimacy and that is something interesting to come by. Also, as time goes on, I believe in all totality that this space will become more useful than it is today and that speaks greatly that the future of this space is going to be awesome which is all that matters anyway and not what is going on in the space now.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can I earn 1 bitcoin in 1 year through bounties ?? on: December 17, 2018, 07:05:54 AM
People coming into this space, usually think this space is just a tree of money where you can just start plucking the fruits as much you want and then get rich before you even realize you have started in the space. I remember how some of the bounties I participated in last year, during the last bullish moment for the altcoins, reached as high as $12k and then since I had no idea of how to trade long term, since all I want anyway is a long term hold, I left it and now they are managing to dwindle around $300.

Yeah, it can be that bad and that one thing with a market. Pretty much, we learn from every experience in the market, and that has pushed me into long term trade now, to at least take advantage of the market in the future, one thing I have always known is that when you make a mistake, you learn from it, wait for another opportunity and then strike, but without that, I doubt if there is anyway anyone can make up to a btc in a year with just doing bounties alone not even with signature campaign
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest Altcoin. on: December 14, 2018, 01:30:11 PM
It is never about the cheapest coin, you can buy the cheapest coin right now and you will still be holding a shit coin and that is even more detrimental than the long term profit you are looking for as you will be subjected to be bagholding shitcoin forever. When it comes to investing in a market, you can deem it cheap based on how you see great value in the market itself, and in this case, you are looking for quality and not just quantity.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is not going UP anytime soon and here is why. on: December 14, 2018, 10:14:01 AM
The market drops because of newbies like they sell in low price their investment, news that like FUD or negative about crypto then manipulation so if this turn well in the future like of course if we unite to grow this or if we unite to sell our investment in high i think it will happen so just hold and wait until we experience that like believe in crypto that we can earn here

There are lots of factors that affects the value of such coins, I presume that it's not those newbies triggered about the fall of prices but rather some big whales who somehow controlling the supply of BTC. This is how business works, in order to have a cycle and we should try to accept that kind of fact.
Whales are always going to have the best part of the market, but there is nothing whales will do if the market itself is not bearish and there is absolutely no condition to be pulling it up. I said that because, if there is some news or some real life usage right now that would be bringing in some high level of demand no matter what, the market will most definitely be reacting to that, so in a way, asides whales in this matter, the market itself simply have less demand than supply.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TO DO ABOUT 2019? on: December 14, 2018, 09:39:43 AM
hold your coins and you will become very rich in the future as the cryptocurrency will rise in price very much
One thing with 2019 is that some would have ended up being an old cargo with a great experience of how the market works even though some will not, while some newbies will also be popping into the market with the promises of wealth in the future, as there will definitely be another speculative moment in this market we will surely get to see in the long run, no doubt about that as we will get to see another level of FOMO again, and a rinse and repeat process on the way up. However, the future is great, which is all that is important right now, and it is only left for us all to know how to be playing our cards right.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recognize correct trading signals? on: December 13, 2018, 04:40:18 PM
Most times, when it comes to trend changes, the best way is a combination of price action as well as some mmomentum indicators and all these will have to do with your knowledge and what you are comfortable with. Basically for me, I make use of Stoch RSI, MAs, and price action to make my decisions, but of course, what works for me may not work for you as all these is dependent on your strategy as well as ability to make a plan before hitting a trading position and it is good to always remember that TA is not some voodoo shit that will tell you exactly what the future holds. You just gotta have a plan, which must always include stopping losses as the case may be in any of your trade.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: December 13, 2018, 10:49:42 AM
Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?

Honestly, all of us here are hopeful about the future of crypto currency. Admit it. You enter the crypto world becauase you are hoping to earn a profit which can support your needs.Traders, investors and Bounty hunters are not different because they have a goal to achieve, to earn more usinf cryptocurrency. All of us here are hoping for it to rise.
That is basically what has held most of us in place, at least till this moment and still benefiting a lot from it, even with the down market. Hope! If you are in an investment and you believe in the future, hope is just something that comes naturally, believing that there is a lot the future is holding which is going to end up positively, and it is better to try and at least fail along the line if things don't work out well, or end up regretting not trying at all.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Future Collapse in Bitcoin's Network, Plus $1175 in The Cards! -magicpoop on: December 13, 2018, 06:59:31 AM
The only aspect of mining anyone should care about is how many actual coins miners possess and need to sell. I don't think anyone should be trading based on analysing mining.

Mining was designed to take care of itself. No one else needs to care about it. If the current crop of miners can't hack it they'll leave until some others come along who can hack it.  No one knows their costs, whether they're hedged, who's buying their coins or what their plans are. It doesn't matter.

true.
I even wonder why a lot of people tend to put a lot of emphasis on mining as a means of what the market value should be in the long run. Certainly at this stage a lot of the miners have shut down their rigs for now until further notice and usually, the network has been designed to correct itself with increase or decrease in difficulty as the case may be, so one way or the other, I simply will not see that as a problem for the bitcoin network at all.
