21  Economy / Exchanges / KuCoin safe on: February 15, 2021, 08:09:08 AM
I haven’t been up to date with Crypto stuff lately. Is KuCoin still good? KuCoin Tether was lending at close to 100% APR which seems really sketchy (sounds too good to be true).

How would you rank these exchanges:
KuCoin
Binance
CoinbasePro

Thanks!
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POLYMATH: The Securities Token Platform on: June 22, 2020, 10:11:07 PM
Polymath was a scam guys. Do the smallest amount of research and you will see how.
23  Other / Meta / Re: How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: June 22, 2020, 09:35:37 PM
There already is a thread that only allows higher ranked members to post. It is located in the Ivory Tower section under serious discussion. The content there tends to be better overall and spam isn't really found at all.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi / Pyramid Scheme / Bubble on: June 22, 2020, 09:13:48 PM
I fell victim to a ponzi coin. If any of you heard of Polymath then you'd know that it practically went to 0. Lost a lot of money on it, it was a complete scam and I didn't do any research.

Be careful and do your research. I've pretty much dumped all altcoins long ago and I haven't regretted that decision.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overcoming Systematic Racism with Bitcoin on: June 22, 2020, 09:07:07 PM
I don't believe that Bitcoin and racism have anything to do with each other. They are completely separate topics, you are comparing apples and oranges.
26  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Is Trump right about blaming China for Covid19? on: June 22, 2020, 08:58:22 PM
Could the Chinesse government have avoided the global pandemic? Should China pay war reparations to the world?

I don't think they could have avoided it. The incubation for Corona Virus is quite a long time and people didn't know how serious it would be until it got out there. Turns out, it doesn't seem to be as bad as all the hype has said it would be anyway. A lot of the death numbers are inflated higher than they should be.

As for your second question, absolutely not.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "Church"(call it whatever you want) of Bitcoin on: May 16, 2019, 03:39:04 AM
Dear Satoshi,

Please allow Bitcoin to flourish. Allow it to reach $10,000 and beyond please. In your genesis block we pray, Amen.

I nominate the thread to also be a prayer space for us that want to worship the bitcoin and the mighty holy Creator.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Climbing Up. on: May 14, 2019, 04:17:22 AM
I do not think it will reach the same heights as 2017, but I do believe we will make it quite high before it crashes again. I don't believe the price spike is authentic. I suspect 12-15k or so, but I'm just pulling out random numbers. I think so many people got burned on the last crash that those people won't be hopping in again. It already reached main stream adoption in 2017. Why would 2019 be any different?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin stole my Polymath? on: May 13, 2019, 02:10:17 AM
Just to update. I was able to get my coins. Kucoin support was helpful and timely in assisting me.

I also changed the title of this thread from "Kucoin stole my Polymath?" to "Kucoin delisted Polymath", because the first one may imply deceit.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index on: May 11, 2019, 10:39:45 PM
the analysis is interesting, I really did not know that there was a graph that could measure fear and greed, how do they do it ?, is it because of the things that people comment on social networks or how do they get that data?

They post it on their webpage.

25% based on volatility
25% based on market momentum/volume
15% based on social media
15% based on surveys
10% based on coin market cap dominance
10% based on Google search trends

This is an interesting metric that I will be adding to my webpage and keeping a closer eye on.
31  Other / Meta / Re: Login in the forum using your Finger Print on: May 11, 2019, 10:20:10 PM
I wouldn't be opposed to the option (however, I see it as extremely unnecessary), but as a requirement I think it is completely contradictory to what Bitcoin stands for. I enjoy having my anonymity on this forum.

Just make a tough password that no one is going to bruteforce and you should be okay.
32  Other / Meta / Re: Don't give me merit on: May 11, 2019, 10:06:51 PM
It is already a year has passed by and another one don't really know what's the purpose of the merit. Why does people don't use the maximum level of their cells to understand the advantages of the merit system in the bitcoin community?

For me it was the most successful system that was implemented in the forum. When merit system was implemented, In some point, It urge me to be a better member of this community. If you don't want merits then it's just waste of time to post like this.

I checked your recent posts and you're just a shitposter in mega threads. Now, I really understand what are you ranting about, lmao. Don't fool anyone here, accept the fact that you're just being bitter on the system.

For someone who called me a shitposter, your grammar in your first paragarph is mindboggling. I understand English is not your first language, but you really shouldn't call someone else a shit poster when your own posting is atrocious.

For a moment it seemed like you were saying you don't understand the purpose of merit, but then say it urged you to become a better member. I suppose you were talking about me in your first sentence and not yourself. Hard to know though with the way you constructed that first sentence.

Either way, you have definitely made me happy by not giving me merit.  Grin
33  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Replacing Windows with Linux on: May 11, 2019, 09:45:04 PM
One thing that has bothered me quite a bit is that windows does a yearly charge for Microsoft office. Word, excel, and powerpoint all cost money. I've switched to a free version called WPS which is really awesome.

I haven't heard a lot about Linux. What advantages does Linux actually have over windows? My fear of switching over is that a lot of files/things won't be compatible with the Linux operating system.
34  Other / Meta / Re: Don't give me merit on: May 11, 2019, 08:45:43 PM
If you dont want merits. Can you give some merits to me??

This will not work. The trick is to say" Do not give me merits" and then get some merits just like what OP did. Smiley
Indeed, he wrote so that noone did not give him merits. And they took and gave him merit! It's just incredible Dr John H. Watson!
You know what, my friends, do not give me merits too!  Cool

I know you said to not give you merit, but I just couldn't help myself. I opted to give you a merit. Those who humble themselves shall be first. Those who are arrogant shall be last.
For this reason, I hath decided to give you a merit.

It has been about a year since I've visited this thread. I just want you all to know to not give me merit. Please don't. I see two people have already done so. I also see a bunch of angry people, lol. Don't be angry guys.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi / Pyramid Scheme / Bubble on: May 11, 2019, 08:38:22 PM
It has been a year since I made this post, but I thought that it deserved a bump given the recent activity in the Bitcoin space.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Church of Bitcoin on: May 11, 2019, 08:30:06 PM
This write up is trying to make a mockery of Christianity, which is bad, some jokes can be said without mentioning Jesus or using his acted pictures. Maybe you should consider the gravity of this and do some edit. Thanks and God bless.

If you are without sin Lizzylove1, then I welcome you to cast a stone at OP. Otherwise, peace in thy tabernacle.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin stole my Polymath? on: May 11, 2019, 08:27:26 PM
I sent a support ticket. I hope they do the right thing.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Church of Bitcoin on: May 11, 2019, 08:07:38 PM
The church needs to be decentralized! Decentralize the church!

Also, beware of false prophets (Craig Wright). And, beware of false profits (US dollar).

Holy Satoshi we worship your excellence. Though we may struggle to do what is right by putting all our earnings into Bitcoin, we still exhalt your name. It is easy to go down the dark path of dollar, euro, or yen. Give us the strength so that we may be your servants and overcome all the nay sayers and temptation of false moneys. In your genesis block we pray. Amen.
