21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: July 01, 2018, 06:36:57 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

That's possible and maybe if we are to think of the worst it might take longer than 2 years. Hopefully it won't. But as we all know how unpredictable this market is it is like we are in a never ending roller coaster ride. I'm praying that this year it will be a joy ride. It's fine with me if not as fast phased as that of Q4 last 2017 but maybe a little bit better than the current trend.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: July 01, 2018, 04:41:18 PM
Do you regret it ?
or do you believe BTC will create a new ATH ?

At some point I felt bad not being able to sell much during the peak because I was hoping that it will still get higher. But no worries since it was my first time witnessing that staggering ath of btc in just a short span of time. I'm not what you can call an experienced and well equipped with crypto knowledge so I guess what happened a few months ago will be considered as charged to my experience. Instead of being affected by that scenario and be regretful we should just enjoy every step and every experiences that we had and learn from it.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters strategy on: June 26, 2018, 05:22:20 PM
Hello bounty hunters, can you share how many bounty campaign you can handle in a Month ? And in what ways you can do it to manage all of those campaign you joined.

It depends on when I joined a campaign like if it's the last couple of weeks of that campaign so most probably I'll have 2. But if I got lucky and joined during the first week of a month-long campaign then I'll only have one. The only part I join in a bounty is the signature campaign. I don't and haven't tried any social media or blog and article campaigns because I really have no time to manage all that since I'm not a full time bounty participant.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: June 26, 2018, 04:48:31 PM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?

ICOs will die only if there are no teams who wants to challenge existing ones. Most of the icos that are sprouting are an upgrade or level up version of other projects. And of course one other factor that may put an end to icos is when investors get tired of putting their money in any ico.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is trying to kill John McAfee? on: June 26, 2018, 11:54:52 AM
Let us not worry ourselves over who the culprit(s) is/are. It is not for us to investigate as we lack the necessary information to solve a case. Surely the authorities are doing their job and will apprehend the suspect(s) whoever they are and will definitely pay for the crime committed. Let us just hope for John's fast recovery and not make the issue bigger.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: June 26, 2018, 06:19:02 AM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

Determining which of them bounties are legit or scam is really a challenge for us participants. Still, there are instances that there are obvious red flags that even newbies can spot right at the beginning. Usually, if the project is too good to be true then most probably it will be a scam. There are also some who boasts that they have partnership with well known establishments or companies and even exchanges. We can always inquire with those companies if the claim of a certain project is true or not. Also, we can opt to choose to participate in a bounty managed by a well known and reputable bounty managers though it can't really be an assurance.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked wallet on: June 26, 2018, 04:54:34 AM
Nowadays people complain about their account being hacked
We need experts here to give us some tips on how a wallet can be secured from being hacked
Your submissions will be welcome
Cheers!

I'm no expert here but some of those who are complaining about being hacked were either too gullible or too complacent that their accounts are safe without added security. There are lots of click baits that target newbies because let's admit the fact that when we see $$$ signs, chances are there will always be that somebody who can't resist but to click it. Thus, allowing malwares to get into their pc and wipe their accounts clean. Meanwhile, we should always think that hackers are smarter and are always one step ahead of us. Because once we think otherwise next thing we know we've just fallen victim to their traps.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is the foundation on: June 26, 2018, 02:47:54 AM
It is needful to say that before the completion of a magnificent building, it starts from the foundation, therefore, to excel as a crypto enthusiast you must start from the foundation, which is through the acquisition of knowledge.
I will not deny the fact that learning is a continuous process, but whoever is coming newly into crypto, should try as much as possible to learn first the rudiments before venturing into any aspect of crypo in order to avoid making costly mistakes.
What you already know cannot be taken away from you...
So, start from the foundation today and get the best from the crypto space.

The problem in this new era is that many of them people act before they think. They never bother to even know the basics of crypto and are used in spoonfeeding method. It's normal to ask questions when you are new in crypto, that's understandable. What I don't get is why would they rely solely on one's knowledge rather than do their own digging of facts. I have experienced this a few times not too long ago. There's this person who wants to venture in crypto and as she found out that I'm in it she started asking questions which I then answered accordingly. But as days passed by she's asking plain and simple questions that one can easily find in the internet. I didn't want to be rude so i just told her to try googling things she needs to know if she really want to learn.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: On which basis ICO or tokens get ratings on: June 25, 2018, 05:04:21 PM
They usually judge an ICO from many things like: team, goal, development, roadmap planning and so on. But today many ICO websites are wrong in judging a project, sometimes they give a high score for an ICO scam

That's right, and that's the main reason why I really don't rely on any of the ratings. Most probably those who rate ICOs were just paid to give high ratings, though I don't want to generalize. I don't know how they decided to give ratings based on the said factors especially when people can put very promising things in their whitepapers and roadmaps even if they don't mean it and just for the sake of getting people to invest on their project. Maybe there are still some truth in one of them ratings but we can't be so sure. I just feel bad for them legit ones being dragged by scammers.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are. You leaving crypto? on: June 25, 2018, 04:49:51 PM
I am seriously considering it.
There is no future in a small market cap that is pumped and dumped!

In addition, trading bots are running the show: milking everyone!

I thought I could also bid farewell to crypto because there is an instance that I just don't feel like being in this world anymore due to some issues. But after some time I guess there's a part of me that thinks this will be the future and so I have to embrace it again. All I needed was a little break and some serious thinking and weighing of things. I hope you stay as a crypto supporter despite all these pump and dump shows. There will be a future for this that we may yet to see.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green market on: June 25, 2018, 09:21:26 AM
Hey guys, i want to know your opinin about - if there will be again dump and when is the best time to buy altcoins now?

My best guess is "ber" months are the beginning of more aggressive bullish run (just like 2017), so now is the best time to buy more coins you think are worth investing in. But surely there's no guarantee for that to really happen. You know how it is in cryptoworld, we can only predict and sometimes it's best to rely on your guts and see where it will lead you. Like the golden rule says, patience is a virtue.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: June 24, 2018, 06:10:03 PM
how is it possible that people say this is not dangerous??? crypto is THE MOST DANGEROUS MARKET TO ENTER IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

As it is a virtual asset, there is nothing but a "supposed" technology behind. There is nothing material backing up this.

Same sentiments here. I must say that I agree in your opinion that this is by far the most dangerous (risky) market one can get into. Unlike tangible assets, crypto can easily vanished into thin air. It is vulnerable even if you have the greatest security measures you think you have until you wake up one day that all your coins are gone. The amount of cryptos hacked way back years ago up until this year is unimaginable which can be a solid proof that this market is very dangerous.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: June 24, 2018, 03:33:11 PM
Many of ICOs allocate some of the tokens to participants in bounty campaigns. Don't you think it is better to give bounty participnats reward in ETH?
1-2% of the money raised is not so much and bounty participants deserve that. Also, it can cause more investors to attract. Because they are no longer worry about the price fall after bounties are paid.

You're right that paying bounty participants in eth will lessen the event of early dumping of the tokens. Additionally, we bounty members will be happy since we won't need to pay for the conversion of tokens to eth in exchanges. But I think it is favorable for the team to pay with their own tokens rather than spending part of the funds raised for the project. There are lots of cases that they did not reached even their targeted soft cap so every single penny they raised in ico should be utilized for the project's expenses. But I'd love to be paid in eth if it's possible.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: June 24, 2018, 11:35:27 AM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

You do realize that airdrops are given for free, right? Don't expect to make money out of airdrops it's like waiting for an apple to fall from its tree directly to your mouth. If you want to earn more then work for it by joining bounties or maybe try trading for higher returns.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why does coins change price constantly? on: June 22, 2018, 04:26:02 PM
Why does coins prices fluctuate so much and it is never been constant making predicting price much harder and much riskier and holding on to coins can be the best way right now.

why does it change prices constantly and never stagnant?

The demand for the coin basically dictates the price of that specific coin. As long as someone is willing to pay a certain amount in exchange for that coin then the price varies depending on how much that someone wants to pay for it. So the people is responsible for this. Many wants to buy a specific coin for a certain amount then others wants to buy the same coin but with a different amount. By this alone we can answer why the price always varies.

The price will be stagnant if there is no demand for that coin. So if I want to buy 1ETH for $100 then others does not want to pay more than that and nobody wants to sell ETH then the price will stay unless otherwise.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: June 22, 2018, 02:17:14 AM
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol

We all had our shares of ending in a bounty where our works were taken for granted. Main reason why I put bounty hunting aside for some time now and it's been months since I last used my account for that purpose. Lately, I focused on investing and when I have the time I just drop by here in the forum for some news about crypto.

So I checked your profile and looks like you've been inactive more than a month ago. Seems like you really are tired. Have a good rest, pal Grin
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: June 19, 2018, 05:20:34 PM
Investors are tired of joining these scam ICO's.

It's the golden age of ICOs last year and most of the projects from that time are successful because of real support to the project. But this year is different, ICOs are being used to make money for it's developers instead of supporting a legit project for development.

Exactly. There's so much ICOs that are sprouting out of nowhere every single day that investors cannot determine whether the project is worth investing. Most of them are scams that people are afraid to invest anymore which greatly affects those ICOs that are legit and have great potential in the long run. That's why I strongly suggest that we might want to stick to the existing top coins for lesser risks. Of course there are still risks since it is crypto that we are talking about but it's better than putting your money in an ico that might turn out to be a scam.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: June 19, 2018, 05:05:55 PM
what's your reason joining here in crypto?

Clearly there is one common reason for most of us, if not all, here is "money." Obviously crypto have given us the opportunity to earn whilst doing our daily routine be that as a student or as an employee. But most especially it is one tool that unemployed people can rely for the time being while waiting to land a job.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: May 02, 2018, 04:10:37 PM
Lots of coins are coming in every month. But I can't know which coin will good in future,  Always I face problem with my confusion. So, is there anyway to know which coins are good?

Thank You

We can never tell which ones are good. It's quite alarming the number of successful icos which turned out to be scams. We can't just relying on the whitepaper nor the team members anymore. I think it's good to prefer to invest on the existing companies who are starting to embrace crypto world. There will be lesser chance of them bidding us goodbye once they raised millions of dollars.
