23  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: January 30, 2018, 08:44:16 AM

24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to hold Bitcoin for a long time or sell to meet a need of life? on: January 30, 2018, 03:46:17 AM
Withdraw a portion and meet a need of life whenever required is the best way. When life requires anything urgent, no point holding for long time, cash out and meet the need.
25  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any crypto fund managers available.. on: January 30, 2018, 03:39:33 AM
Are you looking to invest with a fund manager? Or is this your research for a service in the space?

I am not looking to invest. I know that's risky. But, by this time i felt there should be fund managers arrived for managing the accounts who really cant able to do it by themselves and when i searched, found none. That's what just checking if there any such services available or yet to come or wont come at all.

27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC Plans to Regulate Cryptocurrencies, ICOs on: January 30, 2018, 02:44:39 AM
Regulating the Cryptos and ICO's are the good thing to do. This way government can impose a tax on it and people will be able to invest on it without any legal fears.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to managing the passwords, private keys, opinions/best practices on: January 29, 2018, 09:56:52 AM
I read USB Flash Drives and SD cards can retain data in cold storage for 3-5yrs.
If you plug it in every so often, it will be fine.

This is a information for me. May be I should plug it often to keep it alive.. Thanks.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: how do you know the best digital exchange on: January 29, 2018, 08:57:36 AM
Bittrex, Poloniex, Bithump, Bitfinex, Bitstamp these are leaders in the crypto exchange. You can also start working with Binance, Cryptopia for alt coins.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin gets banned in a country, does altcoins get banned along with it? on: January 29, 2018, 08:38:47 AM
I guess, the cryptocurrencies all-together will only be banned. There is no point in banning bitcoin alone and leaving the altcoins around..
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Best way to managing the passwords, private keys, opinions/best practices on: January 29, 2018, 08:35:36 AM
How can we manage the passwords/private keys in a secured and neat way. There are Exchanges passwords, ICO's, Altcoin wallets, Bitcoin wallets, Private keys and wallet file, paper wallets and the list just grows and its difficult sometimes to manage the passwords and stuffs for all these.

There are some basic guidelines which could be followed

1. Don't use the same password for all the exchanges. Dont use the same password as your email password to the exchanges.
2. Spend some time on the password you chose and make it unique everytime.
3. Dont take the backup keys as photo in your mobile. Instead write it down on a diary/notebook.
4. Always take a backup of the backupkeys to recover accounts, recover google authenticator, etc
5. Use atleast 1 USB disk exclusively and store as a backup apart from your original storage of keys/passwords.
6. Write down the keys on the paper and put in a locker. This would definitely help.

Apart from that, if there any best practices that can be followed add below and how this can be better done in a more organized way..

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miss Bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 08:20:01 AM
That will stay lost forever. It's just like burying your fiat money on ground and its not coming back. There is this guy who must be the biggest loser of this kind who threw $127 million dollars into trash and that goes to waste management site and goes forever..
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now - should or not? on: January 29, 2018, 08:16:27 AM
You can invest in ETH. Cryptos wont go down to death, the markets are recovering now..

35  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any crypto fund managers available.. on: January 29, 2018, 07:47:12 AM
Managing our own portfolio is the best thing and wise too. Agreed. I was just checking the options, if there any such services available and i believe its a 'NO' as of now.

There is one. There's a fund called cryptomerian, and it's been along for quite a while. The founders and all are based in Turkey, if i remember correctly. Their company is registered offshore, and they are a pooled investment fund essentially.

They invest in everything from altcoins, bitcoins, ICOs to gambling bankrolls. You can buy their coin, which represents shares in their investments. Then there is Bit20 and crypto20 which is an index representing the top 20 cryptocurrencies, you can also invest in them.

This is pretty much the only one that I'm aware of, at the moment. Still though, they are quite risky to invest in since they did have some problems in the past. Just manage your own portfolio, it's much more secure and there are no commissions.

There is one..
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next 2 cent crypto that will be worth $100 next year? on: January 29, 2018, 07:15:51 AM
I am looking to buy the next penny crypto that will be worth 100 next year. Anything under 20 cents is recommended. Please let me know your suggestions, and also please provide a rationale and explanation behind your reasoning.
Too much off greediness Grin

Find that coin yourself bro,no one really knows which coin is going to give that much of profits.
I will say no there is no coin will make it from $0.02 to $100 in just one year.I can suggest you to buy siacoin which may not give that much profit as you wanted but it may explode in the coming days.So buy some Siacoin and it is really very cheap now.

Why suggesting siacoin? any special updates/announcements in the coming days..
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to put $20k? on: January 29, 2018, 06:25:15 AM
Investigate thoroughly before investing that amount. You can split your investments into part. Solid coins like BTC, ETH and XRP few. Solid alt coins and Undervalued altcoins and finally into ICO's. ICO's would be attractive, but check for the substance and invest. Good luck.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I want to buy 10,000 doge. on: January 29, 2018, 06:21:56 AM
Doge is a old currency. You can get it from many reliable exchanges like poloniex, bittrex..
39  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice (Ƀ 20 max profit) on: January 29, 2018, 06:06:17 AM
Seems bustadice and bustabit will be having a merging since the ownership of bustabit is now transferred to bustadice...I am happy that because of this chances that more people will go and play in bustadice will increase as well as the amount of prizes hopefully...let's all have some fun and hope many will earn profit...
Where you get this information buddy?

If that is true then many people will play in bustadice site and there are chances for more rewards and bonuses. And I am love to play here because my winning percentage is more here,I hope it will be forever.

It's true. Check the other thread where ryan has posted Bustabit v2 is coming under a new management which is currently managing bustadice (daniel).
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: January 29, 2018, 06:00:01 AM
In my opinion, it doesn't need explanation. Cryptos are here to stay, whoever say its a scam will adopt it one day sooner or later.
