250-270 Sols/s in Equihash is pretty much right on equihash.

I wanted to thank you also for the amazing and quick job on the zend, fixing the block indexing issue. Great achievements last few months, all promises kept. Keep up the good work.

Can we trust "one click timing patch" ? I have sapphire 570 8gb micron. And I saw it copied the strap from 1750 and applied it to 1500 and above to 2000.
Yes. It's pretty much what's available for free. More or less (few exception case) the one patch does these Samsung : 777000000000000022CC1C00AD615C41C0590E152ECC8608006007000B031420FA8900A00300000 010122F3FBA354019 Samsung not so aggressive 777000000000000022CC1C00AD615B41C0570E152DCB7409006007000B031420FA8900A00300000 010123A46DB354019 Micron: 777000000000000022AA1C0073626C41B0551016BA0D260B006AE60004061420EA8940AA0300000 01914292EB22E3B16 Elpida: 777000000000000022AA1C00315A5B36A0550F15B68C1506004082007C041420CA8980A9020004C 01712262B612B3715 Hynix (only H5GC4H24AJ): 999000000000000022559D0010DE5B4480551312B74C450A00400600750414206A8900A00200312 010112D34A42A3816 Hynix (only H5GQ8H24MJ, H5GC8H24MJ): 777000000000000022AA1C00B56A6D46C0551017BE8E060C006AE6000C081420EA8900AB0300000 01B162C31C0313F17

Thinking about the latest Windows 10 problem with the OS eating 666MB of the VRAM and specifically with the issue on GTX1060 3MB cards -vs- Ethereum DAG stored in RAM, has anyone tried moving the card to something other than the primary? (PCI 0,0,0)
It seems like Windoze would only chew up the VRAM on the first card found, not every GPU it sees. I don't have my 3GB 1060 online right now, so I can't test my theory. I know that it's not helpful if you have multiple 3GB 1060s and nothing with 4GB or more.
The extra few hundred mb vram is reserved/in use for the primary video yes. Windows is graphical OS. You can easily check vram allocated in gpuz for example The rest no such reserve.

True, true. I started with Nvidia (most of my GPUs) then due to gpu shortages switched to few ATI RX570s and I regret going that path. Endless hours bios modding, power efficiency tweaking, dreadful ATI drivers, etc. Even though the expense was less for the ATIs and eventually I made them work very good, they consume more electricity than the NVIDIAs for similar hashrate for the algos I use. My next GPUs would definetely be Nvidia. 3 clicks with the mouse and your are all set. vg54dett: Look for the memory chip if you can see through the cooler or below or above it. Depends on the GPU of course. What is your GPU? Tell us if you don't mind.

gpu-z or physically looking on the chip at the PCB of the GPU. if you don't trust, then re-flash with your original bios and check again.

may be you hit a claymore bug in the "hashrate" increase function anyway..on restart it should be ok.

|
|
Good morning It was never about the mobiles in the first place
|
|
|
For starters stop looking at claymore hashrate. That is useless more or less and should be banned with a law Check pool avg hashrate and effective after 24 hrs, after 3 days, etc. That matters more. And yes, hashrate moves up and down on the pool. It's never fixed number all the time.

Yes those values you see are references not the actual voltage. But you can type actual my there like 950 or 900 and should work. On all lines above 588. Keep the 300 as it is. 588 can be 850. https:// github.com/jaschaknack/PolarisBiosEditor Wattman and anything made by AMDAti is horrible by my opinion. Don't use it. I love my nvidia more after I started playing with the ATIS

Helios45: if you cant make it work with overdrive tool, then do it the fixed way. bios mod, hardcode some lower core voltage on the core speed 950 -1200 lines. say....start with 950mv then with your OC tool in the OS try core speed set to 1150 and see how it goes.

treanski: nice. Care to share?

I would also stay away from that Enermax, its not high tier psu. Invest a bit more money in good power supply, this is important. cpu does not need cooler. it comes boxed set (has a cooler). If you are no modding bios on the ATIs, go for Nvidia better.

May be try sgminer (google it). it is free miner, no fees. I have to look at my sgminer settings for the RX (I dont use cryptonight algos that often) and can share it back.
This worked good for me in the past for cryptonights - bios custom mem strap for 2000, mem set to 2000, core (if electricity is cheap) 1200, otherwise I used 1150. core undervolt to 950 mv. 900mv is possible too. Share your memory brand on the gpu, I can give you some of the public mem straps for that memory brand if you don`t have it already.
stable 1kh on cryptonight for rx570 is questionable, but stable 850-900 is doable.

I would probably go for Asus RoG Strix Radeon RX 570 OC 4GB from the two - if wanted to buy a card now. The extra 100+E are not justified in my opinion. Gain of may be 1-2 mh in eth tops. And the "better resale value" on the 8 GB 580 is bollocks if you ask me.

I have not used awesomeminer, but there should be somewhere to enter command line options or config file for the EWBF miner that AM starts.
some options: +-------------------------------------------------+ | EWBF's Zcash CUDA miner. 0.3.4b | +-------------------------------------------------+ --help, -h Show this help. --server Stratum server only hostname or ip address. --port Stratum server port. --user Stratum user. --pass Stratum password. --fee The developer fee in percent allowed decimals for example 0, 1, 2.5, 1.5 etc.
But if you are happy with other miner, keep with it.

|
|
No.
But may be check what fee you have set in conf or bat.
|
|
|
You would have to play with etherminer config a bit to get similar rates. Pm me for Ati if you can't make it after few tries.
