P2PHash is supporting the coin and our pool is still up and running, finding blocks: pcn.p2phash.comIf you want to expand the p2pool network and make your own node you can clone the repository I made: https://github.com/P2PHash/p2pool-procoinI've just updated it with the new explorer. Regarding cryptsy, maybe you could try to get on other exchanges too, like bittrex, atomic-trade, poloniex, etc. I like Cryptsy but it's difficult to get their attention. You could try to make bounties for art or other stuff to promote the coin and make giveaway in other forums to get attention. Be careful though with your offer to give 20k for the next 20 responses, giveaway is not permitted at bitcointalk. I think the most important thing is to clearly define what markets you are aiming and why your coin is different. Maybe try to contact some websites/organisations to support your coin or use your coin as payment. I saw that on your logo it says "anonymously pay anyone", are you gonna make anonymous payments like what darkcoin is trying to do? If so maybe you could try to promote this feature and communicates about it. Ok that's it, hope it helps ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You need to correct the front page of you Pro P2pool site and give the correct port number. You have the LTC p2pool port number listed in blue on this page: http://p2phash.com:22048/static/

Multipools have a detrimental impact on smaller coins when they shift over to them to beginning mining. They can easily fork chains of smaller coins when they induce their massive hashrate. Secondly, they can kill the market for these same coins by dumping millions of coins on the market in an attempt to "pump and dump" so that they can move onto the next coin. This causes a massive deflation in the coins price.
Coin devs are recognizing this and have begun implementing KGW and DigiShield like variants. This prohibits the multipools from staying on the coin for very long as they diff rises sharply once they arrive.

1. Yes - but profits switchers are a dying breed. 2. Gridseeds are already out. As to when the rest will be out I believe John Caramack put its best. When its done!

Eleuthria,
You need any more cpu cycles/vms for the server backend? I have several cpu cycles to spare on my dell poweredge box I host in house at my facility. Just wanted to offer.
Keep up the good work. I split my time with my 20 mh/s here and renting with Betarigs.

Those coinpicker numbers are getting ready to get skewed. Middlecoin looks like it cashed in approx 25% of those unexchanged coins.

Mux seems a bit more interested in working with the dedicated pool guys who "Are not a bank" instead of working on problems that us lessors keep bringing up on this thread.
Seriously, why are you dealing with those dedicated pool idiots? They yank the BC wallet offline after only a week of the coin being POS and say a big FU to anyone who had coins in there. If saying "We are not a bank" helps them sleep at night then I want no part of them or beta rigs for putting up with them.

These threads are pointless. No one has ANY IDEA what will happen in the future with a coin. Just mine a coin that interests you maybe you'll get lucky...

I am a little confused on how someone can flagrantly flaunt the idea of purposely crippling a network and not be in prison. Calling it a "stress test" or not doesn't mean it is any less or more legal.
You will end up picking a fight with the wrong person eventually...

Yeah no problems with my farm either as far as reporting goes. You did something wrong.

When do payouts happen? Been mining for a few days and I'm seeing an approx BTC balance of .14 for my account but no payouts yet. I have confirmed my BTC wallet.
Edit: Nevermind. I didn't have an threshold set for autopayout.

I have my 20Mh/s farm pointed your way. Heard nothing but good things about ScryptGuild so I figured I'd give you guys a shot between down time when the farm isn't rented out.

There are some desperate people running rigs on BetaRigs now. There is some moron with with a 50Mh/s scrypt farm renting for .0075BTC/Day.
And there are tons of people in the mid .0080's. I'd rather run it myself on a profit switcher than to give it away.

incorrect...
you register an account, you click on rent... a second time that you are willing to pay... thats it...
That doesn't make any sense. The FAQ says this: When do I get paid? 24 hours after the end of the rental.
Your renter has paid the full amount to Betarigs before the rental began, and if the mining job was done correctly (basically your rig was online during the whole rental), the payment will be transfered to you 24 hours after the end of the rental period. This 24 hours delay is to give time to your customer to file a ticket if he wants to claim a refund.
Note: If your customer indeed submitted a ticket claiming your rig was offline, payment for this rental will be put in hold until the ticket is processed.
Edit: Oh, I see what is happening. They are clicking "Rent" and then they have to actually forward the BTC to Betarigs. During this time, your rig is "locked out" waiting on payment so if they fail to do so, you are stuck in limbo. Again, I'm new, but I think the simplest solution to this problem is that you have to actually forward BTC to Betarigs BEFORE you are allowed to rent a rig. So, if you have a zero account balance with Betarigs, you cannot rent. This would take care of the problem of people attempting to rent rigs but not following through on payment.

An issue that has to be taken care of is the "renting and not paying" problem.
maybe a user who is not paying should get a 10% fine on his next rent.... or a 1 BTC deposit is necessary before renting....
I get several of those a day and I really don't like it...!
Wait, I assumed that payment had to be secured (and held by BetaRigs) BEFORE the client was allowed to rent a rig. Is this not correct?

I'm brand new and just registered my 20Mh/s farm last night. Someone rented it today at .0095 BTC/MH for a 12 hour period which seems fair. I am not sure I could do better than that mining on my own with the prices of alt coins now.
But I'm not sure it is worth going any lower. I'd rather point it toward a profit switcher and run it myself if I had to take less than that.
Pretty cool site, BTW. I would like to ability to see what coin people are actually mining on my farm with.

What's the name of this coin? Is it Electric or is it Volt? Also, what is it's ticker symbol on Cryptsy?

Which OS do you use and miner soft? With my rigs I have less then 1% rejects on both servers. Could you please PM me your wallet ID, so I'll check why you have rejects.
Actually, my reject figures were incorrect. The monitoring program I was using was giving me the wrong info. So, right now I'm seeing 1 - 2% rejects which I believe is normal. Thank you for following up with me!

can i ask you how much coins you earned with solomining and how much khash you have ?
20Mh/s for total farm.

I would strongly disagree with you regarding the CoinMarket.io. This market becomes very popular in last few weeks, even though it came through several problems. I'd say it attract more viewers than cryptsy recently.
Is this the CoinMarket.io you are talking about? https://www.coinmarket.io/ It's not even online right now. It also has the words, "This is a untested beta version of the exchange - use it at your own risk." plastered on its front page. No way in hell I'm (or any other larger farm admin) is using a site like that to move coins through. @Mivexil - I'll check into Coinedup.
