21  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 17, 2018, 04:35:48 PM
Follow these steps:

1) Delete all your posts from bounty thread
2) Remove all promotion material from social media about scam project.
3) When you are done send me PM

! Negative feedback will be changed to neutral, if you are tagged second time for promoting scam ICO don't send me PM.
! If you are tagged for promoting ponzi don't send me PM.
! Don't send me PM after ICO/bounty ended or bounty topic was locked, I won't respond to your PM

Ongoing bounty for scam initial coin offering:

EasyWork
Onasander
Quio
Ultrix locked at the moment.
Ripple Lite Network
Englishhub
Equiten
Wechain network

I won't respond to PM's for Monopoly any more.
I won't respond to PM's for Gigahash any more.

I found this and I really appreciate that who unknowingly have posted even scam ICO promotions and was tagged will get a second change.  This will give one more chance not to post scam ICO promotion.  Unfortunately, DT/man who is responsible for my negative trust is resistant to my public apology as well apology in DM, otherwise I would have got some words.  Do I deserve that kind of treatment from my negative trust tagger that I could not hear anything from him even after my public apology as well as DM apology for my one silly mistake to ask for Merit.  I really appreciate that Marlboroza came up with his own guidelines.
22  Economy / Reputation / Re: Illegal reduction of trust on: July 17, 2018, 07:58:42 AM
This is the main problem, he completely ignores.
How can I get through to marlboroza?
What should I do?
Dear Administration, only you can help me ...

That is the problem with these seniors and DT members, they never treat us as community.  I too got negative trust asking for merit, but even though I apologized publicly (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4666456.0) as well as in DM, my negative trust is not removed and also not bothered to reply in DM or in my thread.  Is this how we should be treated here??  And sadly, admins or anybody cannot help on this matter, they have given them license to kill newcomers and they are on spree.  They need to understand that selfish Bounty Hunters will not bother to fight for their account.  They will simply switch to another account or may be buy.
23  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my negative trust on: July 16, 2018, 05:02:49 PM
That is exactly what I am saying.  Issues regarding merit system should not be labeled as "Spammer" with red color negative trust, because there were no spamming attempted.  One alternative is de-merit system with (minus) Merit points for any issues with merits which should be aggregated with positive merit points.  Giving negative trust for merit is misuse of trust system.
24  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 16, 2018, 04:33:31 PM

You got a "red tag" for merit begging via PM... it even says so in the Trust comment left by OgNasty:
OgNasty   2018-07-12   0.00000000      Begging for merit in unsolicited PM.

I don't see how anyone can think this is for "spamming".

MY ANSWER

Positive - You trust this person or had a successful trade.
Neutral - Comments. Your rating will not affect this person's trust score. (THIS IS WHAT LAUDA SUPPOSED TO DO)
Negative - You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer.

Quote
Trust: 1: -0 / +12(3)
The first number is the user's trust score calculated based on how consistently they've received positive feedback. Probably no one will get a score above 0 until the system has been around for at least a month. The second number is the number of reported scams. The third number increases with the number of positive reports, as does the fourth number in parenthesis, though the fourth number is more resistant to abuse. This text changes color depending on the score. Users with a negative score (attainable through scamming) get a red warning attached to their posts.

Do I need to post more ??  They all says negative trust means scammer.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: July 16, 2018, 08:17:24 AM
I don't think that we (ordinary investors) can do much about the situation. All we can do is to adjust our trading strategies to the current market situation.

I totally agree with you, we need to adjust our trading strategies according to the market, and this is the best strategy to stay without burning out into the market.  We need to control our emotion and favoritism to any coins.  There are good alts that I think had bottomed out as they are showing resilience to go down further, but who knows, and if this resilience break, it can crash further down.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going towards the dark on: July 16, 2018, 08:07:10 AM
Bitcoin prices are constantly decreasing. Its price has increased slightly a few days ago, but now it has decreased again. So, the bitcoin will be completely destroyed? If the predictions of different researchers will be wrong then..
What is the reason for lowering the price of Bitcoin?

It is not uncommon for bitcoin to drop in value this much.  You can check chart of 2014 where it went from $1200 to $200.  There are many.  You may can see bitcoin to further drop to $5000 ranges, there is a possibility, but in the long run, it will bounce back.  Don't make your expectation that bitcoin will only go up, it can go fearfully down too.  If you are so uncertain and making you very anxious and cannot afford to loose any penny of your investment.  You can convert into fiat or USDT and buy again into around $5000 level if it further went down or just wait for positive signs to show up on market to get into.  Right now, market is bearish.  Hodling in this market condition will surely make you more anxious but it can be greatly rewarded in future.
27  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 14, 2018, 06:48:02 PM
These newcomers should continue on learning beyond just that the system exists and who to ask for them.  Roll Eyes
The red trust also is only punitive if you are here to solely make money off the forum, Red trust in no way limits you from learning or engaging with the community. Like I previously stated, given enough time and proof of learning from the experience the member that issued that trust may consider removing it or changing it to neutral. If they do not that's their decision and again just part of the forum environment members need to learn to work within

Thanks.. I would try to earn cancellation of negative trust, but people are saying the one who gave me negative trust would never consider removing negative trust.  He/she will stick to his/her decision.  The fact is that red negative trust tag I have got irritates me.  I may have some unprofessional inappropriate words and immature behavior, but I am not a spammer.  I was just trying things around here but not to spam anybody.  I feel like I have been jailed.  I am not an avid bounty hunter too.  The signature campaign is something that keeps encourage you to interact and contribute in your early days in forum, which I think is not bad because it attracts new people into cryptocurrency and eventually they will learn something about cryptos which they may spread into their own community.  The main thing we need today is more people participating into crypto-related things so that they can eventually learn about cryptocurrency procedure.  Vast majority of people did not know even what is ETH wallet and how it works and how to create it.  With their participation in bounties, they will at least learn about these which they will spread into their own community.

Merit "generators" or anyone with Smerit can give the merit how they see fit. I would say they do a decent job of getting them out there. Just don't expect every post you make to earn Merit. I don't think that there are many users that are only meriting posts that promote their projects or that are brownnosing.

Sadly, I admit these types of post would not let me earn merit but I am not brownnosing. Unfortunately, ppl got rewarded merit for good things said, like his sixth sense told him that something good is happening (not stats or any useful information) to a coin that is virtually dead and has avg 24-hour volume of less than $100k.  I don't want to be person specific but you can search for these types of examples and see how merits are distributed.  These things encourage newcomers to ask for merits.  If you want to I can send you evidence on PM.

28  Economy / Reputation / Re: Sr member selling his own account on: July 14, 2018, 05:46:58 PM
Its amazing how much people are afraid of new people getting into their level quickly.  Just imagine, how much bankers may have been afraid of that their hunderds years old banking system is taking up by cryptocurrencies.  just my thoughts, no hard feelings.. enjoy..

PS: I am not interested in buying others account.  I have had my own..
29  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 14, 2018, 05:31:59 PM
okay.. thanks everyone for their valuable time.  I came up with one suggestion/idea (again someone will come up with, "you read the rule first, suggestions not allowed here.." hehe).. Nevermind.  I came up with one idea or suggestion that if there is "Merit" system then why cannot be there "De-merit" system also?  What I mean is people who involved or trying to beg/ask for "Merit Points", etc, will be "de-merited" with negative or (minus) "Merit points".  He/she should aggregate that minus or de-merit points with positive merit points.

I came with this idea because many newcomers who learned about merit will try to increase their merit points and many of them will try to beg/ask for merit, but this action should not tag them throughout their bitcointalk life with spammer with negative trust in red color because there is no such attempted spamming.  So, de-merited them would be fair punishment.  Red color negative trust is too harsh for those who are new and coming here to explore new things and looking to grow in cryptospace with community.

Also, I would suggest legendary merit generator not to only distribute the merit points to those who will write goods things for your post or liked your advertised products but also to those newcomers who are trying to earn some merits with good posts.  There are many who distributes fairly to newcomers with good posts also, I really appreciate those.

At last, who you are supporting for WC Final, Croatia or France. I am with Croatia because they have good teamwork and this is their first ever Worldcup final (please don't come up with comments, "you cannot include WC things in your post, its against rule".. Smiley hehe).  Thanks for your time.
30  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 14, 2018, 06:29:15 AM
I am neither a bully or an asshole. Smiley

If you correctly wrote, then why not give the person who realized his mistake a chance?
P.S. Everyone is prone to make mistakes - but not everyone knows how to admit their mistake and go ahead!

You guys are naive.  How do you know he learned his lesson, and is not just posting so?

Keeping the tag on there, forcing him/her to change their actions, is much better for them than just ignoring it and letting them do it again.

In my opinion, members with Legendary and so status are like parents/teacher to the newcomers to the forum.  So, if one of your child/student did cheat on exam and once caught he admits to not repeat it, you won't let him wear "thief/cheater" tag in red color and tell him to wear it for the rest of the grades so that we and others can know you are a "thief/cheater".  Would you?  No.. na? then why me tagged as spammer with red highlight?  Isn't there other option.  If my intent is solely to achieve merits only then I would open another account, its just a junior member level that I can achieve within a month.  So old school of thoughts needs to be updated.  This does not improve new raw members who is here to join the community.  Bounty hunters will simply jump into another account and avoid these conditions.

Are you sure a newbie is all around the forums and know everything. I understand your problem, but this forum doesnt have forgiveness except few DT Members.
Next time don't do such things and look for genuine work as this forum admin never look to members what they want.

Not all newbies but there are who are talent and genuine, and IMO the level status does not reflect the person's true intelligence.  Not to forget, these newbies are constantly bringing new thoughts and ideas to the forum, refreshness.  Also, more and more newbies that means many are joining the forum and more and more are are adopting and interested in blockchain and bitcoin and joining the community.  Many of them will come as Bounty Hunter, because free money attracts them to here, but that will increase their exposure to cryptocurrency.  The more people exposure to cyrptocurrency, more benefit to the industry.  IMO, we are not the state of filtering out but instead we need to welcome more and more newbies and that is what my expectation from senior legendary hero members, not to restrict them but to increase their exposure and welcoming them.
31  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 14, 2018, 03:28:11 AM
OgNasty is a bully, I know that after I looked at owlcatz negative ratings left on him by this bully for speaking against him. wtf man? instead of finding meritale posts of somebody who has PMed you and help them in ranking up you just hand out negative trust? people don't have anywhere to look and ask for merits, so they might directly ask merit sources if they haven't got any merits yet.
Asking for merits is not prohibited, begging for merits is. did you beg or did you ask nicely?

My text was "can you please donate me merit point" with apology in advance that if sending PM disturbs you.  I don't fully blame him for negative trust, its my mistake too not going through the rules, but if you punish them for their mistake which they admits and left to live the rest of life with negative trust status, how will the new member will grow?  The bounty hunter who don't care about the community will make another account or can even buy account, but those who came to be part of community will be left discouraged.

I may be not the one to talk about this since I have so little experience in the forum. But here  I go!

1. Do not ever ask for merits!! Do not try to creep from technical loop holes like "Oh man, Only begging for merits is banned, I did not begged, I just asked!" No It is not okay, Yes I know, sometimes We are pretty desperate when some "valuable posts" (The value of a post totally depends on the individual perspective!! Noobs like us tend to think after posting something that it worths some merit, but actually It is utter bullshit in the eyes of a more experienced user!) do not get rewarded and go deep under in the spamming mega threads where no one notices ever! BUT ASKING FOR MERIT IS STILL NOT OKAY!!!

2. About the negative trust, It can only be removed by the member who assigned it, Therefore contact him. Do not spam him, I thing he would remove the negative trust if he thinks that you have learnt the lesson. I have heard so much about the member ognasty and his attitude towards the forum, He must have done this out of the pure intention of making a spam free forum.

3. I have 3 sMerits left, but since this thread has been created solely in the idea of seeking attention from senior members with sMerits i am not gonna bother to look at your posts history.

Note:
Do not ask for merit, The surprise, Joy you get after seeing some of your posts have been merited is priceless.!!

Thanks.  You are a newbie but much more mature than me and may be some seniors here in BT forum and the merits you've earned is very much deserved.  I am pretty much raw than you to this forum.  I am not expecting any merits for this but suggestions and guidance which you are much clearer even being a newbie.  If I was able to I would merit this.  thanks for you suggestion, appreciated.

32  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lesson Learned !!! on: July 14, 2018, 03:13:44 AM
I later came to know that asking someone for merit is prohibited.
You see, you would have known that had you been anything other than a bounty hunter who doesn't really care about discussion here.  It's been talked about endlessly that merit begging is frowned upon, especially via PM.  The last thread I posted in about that was only within the last 3 days I think.  There's no excuse that you didn't know that your action would result in a negative.

In addition, your warning is going to be ineffective.  Why?  Because, just like you, people who beg for merit tend not to read anything in Meta and won't see it.  You yourself would have missed such a warning--in fact, you DID miss everything that would have warned you not to beg for merits.  It's your fault, so own up to it.

I admit its my mistake, and I also justify my mistake that often new members are prone to make this mistake because there are so many sub-forums and sub-sub-forums but that way they will learn, what's allowed and what's not.  To grow as a good "Bitcointalkers" is a process, not every new member enters into BT with learning of all rules.  They will make mistakes and learn and realize, but those who wants to improve and admits their mistake and admit would not repeat, should be encouraged.  They should be punished and also rewarded, but should not be let him live his whole life in bitcointalk with "red warning" status.

If I am here for only bounty then I would have made another BT account, and its just a Jr. member level, which can be achieved in just two weeks.  But I am here to be part of community, learn from community who is here since 2011, and grow with community with my original identity.  And also I would like to request the seniors in the forum to not treat all new members like bounty hunters many of them are here to be a part of community, and the new and fresh energy they can bring can be quite useful too.
33  Other / Meta / Re: Do you consider this as begging? on: July 13, 2018, 05:02:19 PM
Begging that is prohibited as indicated on the forum rules.

I don't know if this is prohibited but asking for merit is DM is prohibited and may end you in red negative trust.. I have learned my lesson.
34  Economy / Reputation / Lesson Learned !!! on: July 13, 2018, 04:58:17 PM
I have always awaited for my first merit point since my promotion to Jr. Member to become Member, but two months passed, my first merit point did not came.  I see some people getting merit for silly posts, and I was so eager to see my first merit point that I ended up doing one silly mistake, that is, asking a legendary member to "donate me my first merit", in hope of my first merit.  If not then at least a warning that it is bad thing and/or suggestion or guidance from such pioneer in this forum, but I got a negative Trust Point.  I requested to reverse it to no effect.  I later came to know that asking someone for merit is prohibited.

There is no other option but to admit it was my mistake.  This is my only BT account and the negative trust made me very upset and I don't know how it can be reversed.  I have never intended to spam or spammed or even given wrong suggestion to anybody but I HAVE TO LIVE IN BITCOINTALK WITH RED NEGATIVE TRUST STATUS.  I am not worried about my bounties either but that Red Trust status.  Its a bullshit.  So people, never make the mistake I made.  You may have spent many hours to establish a reputation of your BT account but with single mistake it can all be gone.  I have learned my lesson.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: July 13, 2018, 04:30:00 PM
If you get into good project, the airdrop and bounty is a free coins that can give you much greater return.  Just like Ontology airdrop was valued around $7k.  So like investment, chose good project for airdrop.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: July 13, 2018, 05:57:32 AM
people who sells bitcoins now are either weak hands or very smart who sees it going to down further, but if you are not sure and could quick trade bitcoins just HODL.  The world for bitcoin was thought to be over when it went back from $1300 to $200 in the past, but who were unsure and just hodl at $500-$600 may have missed the good buying opportunity but they were still 10x profit in this strong bear market.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: except for bitcoin, what is your prefer? on: July 13, 2018, 04:02:42 AM
First of all if bitcoin is banned, all alts are also banned.  There would be no situation like only bitcoin banned and other coins allowed.  Besides bitcoin, the safest place to invest is ethereum.  The safest does not mean no risk.  THere is always high amount of risk in cryptocurrency.  Ethereum is relatively safe than other coins.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: July 13, 2018, 03:31:50 AM
Many people are still hesitant between trade and hold. In my opinion, Investment is different from speculation is that you spend time and knowledge for it. When you trust and understand, you will not be afraid of the volatility of the market. It's an investor or a HOLDER. It's very good, but I think you get to know the market, trade, the cycle of market so you can be an investor, a smart holder.
"Don’t be a blind bull. ALL markets are cyclical. Don’t be afraid of pullbacks or market crashes – that’s where you can make the most money"

Smart investor are not those who predicts the market but those who has ability to move with market.  Prediction most of the times comes opposite like when large number of people are expecting or predicting something will happen, it usually happens in other way.  So, I think smart are those who has an ability to move with market up and down.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC parabolic bull run will not happen everytime on: July 12, 2018, 05:10:37 PM
you know what you are doing here? you are doing the same thing as those people you are talking about but doing it in other direction. you say last year's massive bull run will not be repeated this year but you go on to saying that the previous bear market (taking few years) will be repeated!!!

and for that, you are just as wrong as them.
just because something happened in the past it doesn't mean it should happen again.
- just because we had a massive rise last year doesn't mean we should have that every year
- also just because last time the bear market took a long time it doesn't mean each time it should take just as long.

You've got it right.  I hope it will work as fuel to patience to expect bears to be long.  HOpe it will be less painful waiting this time.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC parabolic bull run will not happen everytime on: July 12, 2018, 04:36:34 PM
You may be correct. For Bitcoin's health sake, it may be better that we take a long way to get to the ATH again. Slow and steady wins the race. Rocketing up to $20k again in a matter of days like we did, you end up paying for that high speed action sooner or later. We will go slowly towards $20k, and when people realize how Bitcoin was never dead and it's now higher than ever, the new FOMO cycle will being, exponentially, dwarfing the previous high, just like the $20k peak now dwarfs the insignificant (and insanely high back then) $1300 peak of the MtGox days. The question is, what will be the peak in the next fractal formation? Some say above $100,000 pretty much guaranteed.

yes slow and steady rise wins the game.. and I think bitcoin needs to find a good ground first to build the base for next bull run.  This 6k level has been tested thrice and every time resisted enough to be a good ground for foundation, and I hope the current price action would be last test of this level.. breaking the resistance will be another leg down to may be 4800 level and bouncing off this level would be next bull run, but again not like parabolic bull of Dec 2017 but rather slow and steady.
