21  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🤖 RoboSats | Buy & Sell Bitcoin P2P Privately 🚩 #kycfree on: May 18, 2024, 09:37:55 PM
The clearnet and onion sites are all off at the moment. I don't know for how long it's been off, but OP, please check on them as soon as possible and maybe an update here.
Sometime back, both domains took a very long time to load.
Could it be possible DDoS attacks?
22  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Does a newbie warning flag about this need a lot of explanation? on: May 18, 2024, 07:35:25 PM
A type 1 flag is more than okay. The purpose of the flag is to warn newbies and guest users that the starter of the topic shows some sign that may lead to loss of money

Quote
Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money. (This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies.)

Just make sure when creating a flag. Use a topic in the scam accusations or reputations as reference. Do not use the original post of the person you are trying to accuse because it can get deleted at any time.
23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: cryptomixer .io is selective scamming on: May 17, 2024, 09:59:22 PM
I have known that mixer for a good time. it's probably the oldest mixer that is still operational. While we can not rule out the fact that they could exit scam, but if they wanted to scam, they would have done it a long time ago. There is even a case where a user had a huge amount of BTC stuck in their platform, but they refunded the complainant.

The mixer used to get issues such as downtimes and slow support responses, but they would always get back the BTC to the affected users. You can check their now archived thread to see the history of complaints and resolutions.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Open Source Hardware Wallet for XMR? on: May 17, 2024, 09:52:09 PM
How about installing an open source monero wallet on an old device that is air gapped (completely not connected to the internet)?

Probably running Linux OS.
Not that's an open source hardware wallet created by you and it's cheap  Wink
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember Cogitex? on: May 17, 2024, 09:44:14 PM
I would like to bring up the topic of Cogitex project and ask your opinion about it. Perhaps some of you remember about it or have heard about it before. Cogitex is a project that aims to change the game in the world of cryptocurrencies and technology. It represents a unique ecosystem that brings together cutting-edge technologies of the future.

I would like to know your opinion: do you remember about Cogitex? If yes, what do you think about it? What attracts you to this project? Or if you are not familiar with it, what do you think of its concept and ideas?
Isn't this just another one of the BEP20 tokens just created to raise money from individuals?

I don't see anything special here;

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading on telegram bot is safe or not? on: May 17, 2024, 08:56:26 PM
Hi everyone, I want to know if trading through Telegram bots is safe or not. If I use a bot, will my funds stay safe?
You should avoid trusting third party app or bots if you can because you might end up losing it all
Try other platforms like Orca (https://www.orca.so) and Jupiter. They seem to load faster than Raydium probably because of the popularity
27  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nearly All FTX Creditors Will Get 118% of Their Funds Back in Cash on: May 16, 2024, 09:48:10 PM
But, most of the coins they have aren't in Bitcoin, check https://platform.arkhamintelligence.com/explorer/entity/ftx

Awesome link, but I have to ask when you go to the timeline, are those funds the exchange had in their custody or the claimed coins?
For example two years ago they had 20.15k BTC, are those all the bitcoin the clients had or what they actually had in custody while clients claimed twice as much?

Probably what is currently available. But we can't just zero down to only just those funds. When a company files for bankruptcy depending on what chapter it is. Sometimes they are given an opportunity to liquidate their assets so that they can restructure or pay off their creditors.

Maybe FTX had assets the liquidated way more that the creditors claimed or not. We shall know this in the near future.
28  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Currency Exchange Saint-Exchanger on: May 16, 2024, 09:27:17 PM
Good day, dear forum members!

From today till 15.05.2024 there is a drawing of 10 USDT!

To participate in this drawing you need to make an exchange on our Saint-Exchange service and leave a review on any site where we are hosted!

Don't you think the reviews will be a little biased, given that you will be rewarding some chaps for making some reviews?
I think you should just let the reviews be organic. Run the promo or draw for another kind of activity. Just saying.
29  Other / Meta / Re: What is the usages of MEMBERS option ? on: May 16, 2024, 08:43:00 PM
Initially, you could view a list of users, perhaps in alphabetical order, but it was disabled for some reason (perhaps security or to optimize on the forum loading time/performance). You can now only such up members as stated by _act_
30  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: May 15, 2024, 09:57:46 PM
Care to share what was the reason for the decision?
But I think they gave you a clue in the post they made earlier on

We feel that it is now time for us to forward our marketing efforts to the new areas.

Also
- We reserve the right to modify/add campaign rules, change pay rate, accept/deny posts, remove/accept participants, and stop the campaign at any time for any reason. We are not obliged to explain any decision taken by our team.
So I believe we should let them be. Not may can manage to go on for 4.5 consistently.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qubic coin selling on: May 15, 2024, 01:32:35 PM
If this is the coin you are talking about - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/qubic/

Then try Gate.io. That where most of its trading volume is (https://www.gate.io/trade/QUBIC_USDT)
There is also ascendex/Bitmax but the trading volume there is much lower than that in tradeogre that you are not sure about - https://ascendex.com/en/cashtrade-spottrading/usdt/qubic, However, it's better to be safe than sorry.
32  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ShapeBTC.com - unlimited cryptocurrency exchanger on: May 15, 2024, 12:34:53 PM
My point is that XMR transaction cannot be analyzed for "AML risk score" like other cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum. So an exchange cannot arbitrarily ask for KYC if detected user's coins as "dirty".
They don't have to first "analyze" for "AML risk score" before they think about asking for KYC. They can ask for it at any time they want, and a trader is forced to comply if they want their money back.

The point is, if you don't want any KYC inconvenience. Avoid any exchange that mentions KYC or AML in their TOS regardless of what coin you are dealing with.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 12, 2024, 09:58:05 PM
Many people do not doubt that Real Madrid is in the Champions League because it has been proven by the Champions League trophy that Real Madrid currently has. But it is very important not to underestimate anyone in the final match because Borussia Dortmund are also very aware of who they will face in this final match. Because the Real Madrid coach will definitely develop a strategy that is effective enough to win the final match and celebrate the victory by winning a prestigious trophy this season.
There is a huge reason people think Real Madrid have a higher chance of winning this upcoming final.
1. Pedigree.
2. Out of the previous 17 UCL finals, Real Madrid has played in, they have only lost 3 of them. The last loss was against Liverpool in the 1980/81 season against Liverpool. That was about 43 years ago if my mathematics is correct.

So there is a huge chance that they will bag this one too.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MINING BITCOIN CASH (BCH) on: May 12, 2024, 08:58:45 PM
First time seeing someone looking to mine BCH. Woow

OP there is a lot of information online if you want to get started. You only have to search it up.

A few kinks I have come a cross
1. https://cointelegraph.com/learn/how-to-mine-bitcoin-cash-a-beginners-guide-to-mining-bch
2. https://f2pool.io/mining/guides/how-to-mine-bitcoin-cash/
3. https://www.bitdegree.org/crypto/tutorials/bitcoin-cash-mining

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to buy privacy coins? on: May 12, 2024, 02:33:04 PM
Want complete privacy?

Buy the coins using Fiat via decentralized p2p like Bisq, and then there is robosats.
The most popular coin is XMR.

You can use XMR to exchange for other privacy coins

Using a centralized exchange to buy and sell privacy coins makes no sense IMO
36  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam by a BCGame Employee on: May 12, 2024, 09:54:48 AM
1. What shows that he is a BCGame employee?
2. How did you get in contact with him? Telegram? Discord?

It seems to me that you have been scammed by an impersonator. Please share details like chat screenshots, payment ID and where you got the so-called employee's contact from.

Also, if you want sensitive data about a user, that is not how they obtain it. You have to get a court order and, with the help of law enforcement, officially write to BCGames. They don't just hand out sensitive data to you just like that.
37  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have lots of BTC to sell on: May 11, 2024, 09:51:54 PM
proof?
post a screen or better a video that proves that you hold a looot of BTC
 Grin
You expect that joker to have even a single bitcoin?

If you check the archived version of the post, OP was trying to shill some website of his, which is probably a scam. On getting called by the members, he instead edited his post to the current one.

All I can see is that he is just trying to scam rather than actually have the large number of BTC that he claims he has.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Announcement: LocalMonero and Agoradesk will be winding down its operations on: May 11, 2024, 09:37:26 PM
What happens to XMR now?
Nothing, probably.

Monero is still a very huge project with great potential now that most mixing services are getting shutdown. There are also a number of exchanges where Monero works (https://www.getmonero.org/community/merchants/) and I am sure someone is going to launch a good p2p exchange to fill up the void that is left behind by localmonero.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need 0.1Polygon Matic trading 1$ amazon giftcard code on: May 11, 2024, 08:51:27 PM
@tortic25, In case you are still in need, I do have some matic on one of my addresses. Just post or PM your address and I will try to help you out.
40  Other / Meta / Re: Post deleted? on: May 10, 2024, 09:55:41 PM
Probably moved to the trashcan or deleted because it does not belong to Bitcoin discussion board. Your post is an Announcement about an exchange, so the best board to post it should have been Exchanges board.
