1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 05, 2023, 09:58:39 PM
To be honest, wondering about the recent games we saw from Liverpool and how Klopp was under pressure I wasn't expecting to see Liverpool even performing this well against Manchester United especially if you know Manchester could show a good performance against many strong teams like Barcelona a few weeks ago but the way they played this game just shocked me when I saw Liverpool scored six goals just in the second half.

Forget about Barcelona, Liverpool vs Manchester United is one of the biggest matches and rivalries between the 2 most successful teams in the Premier League team, so, I am not surprised by the outcome especially by the fact that Liverpool was at Anfield.

Manchester United should revisit their football tactics. Liverpool completely shut them down.
1023  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request to DT Members to Reconsider their Negative Feedback on my profile on: March 05, 2023, 09:53:03 PM
i just launched one bounty Compaign and red flags has very bad impact on this. if i escrow fund (token or busd) , People will not still believe because this negative flag showing at the very top that Op is scammer.

Well, you might be one… Who knows?

The account could have been hacked, bought/sold. Who knows what the new owner might be up to. The projects thinking of dealing without should have a chance of thinking they might be dealing with a scammer because of the red flags she/he has shown so far.

1024  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request to DT Members to Reconsider their Negative Feedback on my profile on: March 05, 2023, 05:14:52 PM
Why now?

Because you now want to join bounties and signature campaigns?  Grin

Account selling is not against the forum rules but that does not mean that the DT members won't tag you and the reasons are pretty valid.

Accounts sales encourage:
1. Scam
2. Spam and account farming
3. Account thief/hacking

How sure are we that the new owner of the account will be as trustworthy as the old user?
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In under 2.5 hours Binance AI-powered NFT generator generates 10,000 mints on: March 04, 2023, 09:58:58 PM
Maybe there will be some investors willing to test that waters and buying this AI generated NFT. But we all know that it defeats the whole purpose of NFT as this is supposedly made by artist themselves. But since AI is everywhere now specially the way they draw and crafted art that is perfect to the eyes, Binance might be the one destroying this sector? Yeah, I agree, sooner or later, this "real" artist will have to find another way to make some money out of our crypto industry. So good job Binance, <insert sarcasm here>.
True, this will lead to complete death of creativity.

For example, I have just created this image in 20 seconds using a randoman AI art generator i got through Google, and it isn't even premium. Just a simple idea I thought about quickly and all I told the AI to draw me was a pic of an elephant on the moon

Being an Artist by talent, I know how it feels for all other genuine content creators out there.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana failure resistant? on: March 04, 2023, 09:47:15 PM
Common knowledge says that a blockchain network doesn't rely on a central authority and doesn't have a single failure.
Not all blockchains are decentralized. Decentralization is just a major feature of a few blockchains like Bitcoin.

Quote
However, we observe blockchain-solutions which fail on a regular basis due to various reasons. The notorious example here is Solana.
What is wrong here? Is it true that blockchain networks are failure resistant?
What do you expect from a coin that uses proof of Stake that is far from decentralization and very prone to manipulation?

Quote
Or, alternatively, is it true that we misclassify some blockchain-solutions and put a wrong label on a product? What is your opinion?
It's quite evident that people are easily misled into anything due to stupid hype.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 04, 2023, 09:30:39 PM
It feels like Chelsea is trying to have long-term investment for the team because they feel they already lost this season and if they want to hire young talents like Gvardiol who had a good performance in the 2022 world cup with Croatia while according to transfermarkt this player worth 75 million but he is under a contract of Leipzig until 2027 and if they want to hire this player they have to pay much more to Leipzig to release and considering the situation of Leipzig they try hard to keep this player.
Chelsea having a long term investment for the team? This is sounds like a joke and very laughable  Grin

Just look at most of their recent signings, mate. Almost all of them were more like panic buys or just an attempting to hijack a player that was bound to sign for another team. Some signings Chelsea made weren't even necessary, as the poor team form has continued throughout the season so far.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 04, 2023, 08:59:09 PM
It was the last second goal, not the last minute, maybe even if the ball went to the corner, the referee would have finished the match.
Referee rarely finish matches when there is a corner. It it had happened, it would have been a big controversy in terms of Premier League match officiating. If you observe very well, referees usually blow the full time whistle when the ball has been kicked out of the keeper's box towards the center by the defending team.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 03, 2023, 09:54:58 PM
Chelsea is seriously going through a big problem and I don't know where it all emanated from, it's been a very disappointing season for all chelsea fans and supporter, many people are actually accusing their coach for being the course of Chelsea's current failure, meanwhile in an interview, the coach said that Chelsea was already in trouble before he took up the position of a coach for the club.
I really hope they would come out the mess soon enough though.
We clearly know where it emanated from. Sacking Thomas and not giving him enough time to get the club in order.

I will be curious about how further Napoli can go in the Champions League as well. This is a very special season for them as it is like the best one for them in the recent years.
True, the last time Napoli were really great and free scoring was back then in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 seasons coming 2 and 3 respectively in the Seria A. This time they are a big force in the UCL too. Any team that meets them better be ready.
1030  Other / New forum software / Re: Bitcointalk Wallet Address verified badge? on: March 03, 2023, 09:37:50 PM
Address verification serves no purpose at all. Staking Bitcoin address was used as a way if one is the original owner of the account or not, but it doesn't stop the person from scamming.

This guy for example was highly trusted by the collectibles community and even staked his bitcoin address here, but it did not stop him from scamming lots of members here.
Bitcoin address verification badge would mean the mods and admins would start moderating scam, where they have been clear in the past that they don't.
1031  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ChicksX - ✅ Bitcoin Exchange Services ✅ on: March 03, 2023, 09:15:23 PM
In fact, I had not heard of this platform before, and I was surprised that it has been working for a long time, and there are no complaints about it.
the truth is the domain is very old, it stretches all the way from 2004 or even beyond according to wayback machine. It has mostly been used for porn websites all those years prior to these guys acquiring it  Grin

So if my calculations are right, the exchange is still probably less than a year old so far, thus the little online presence about it
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In under 2.5 hours Binance AI-powered NFT generator generates 10,000 mints on: March 03, 2023, 08:21:59 PM
Binance puttting NFTs down the drain with few lines of code.

Who really is going to spend their hard earn money buying NFTs made by AIs?  Grin
There is going to come a time when NFTs are going to be completely pointless and people will definitely move away from the stupid hype. Unfortunately, honest will be collateral damage, Well done Binance 🤡
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 01, 2023, 09:53:13 PM
But with his decision to play in Asia, I don't think he will gain back his best shape anymore, and the top scorer title he might get in the end of season, would mean nothing as people have predicted that  right after they decide to play there.
But let's be honest, he is never getting any younger. No one can defeat age, once it's on your ass, that's it.

The best we can do is appreciate the last year of the once very flamboyant player in the top European stage.

However I love to see him win asian champions league and compete in club world cup again.
Would love to see him there too
1034  Economy / Lending / Re: I would need 550$ on: March 01, 2023, 09:17:18 PM
Hello everyone,

I am currently in need of money. I have to pay a phone bill expressly and since my work needs a lot of phone calls it’s quite bothersome to have my number blocked.
Get a salary advance from your employeer and pay for the phone bill

Quote
I don’t have a collateral unfortunately. I came here since a friend told me it was possible to get a loan on this forum but after seeing the post talking about collateral that says that my request would at almost 100% be impossible I guess it’s the wrong place.
You already know that you are in a wrong place, why do you go ahead to ask for a no-collateral loan?

Expecting miracles?
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 01, 2023, 08:54:04 PM
It looks like Arsenal will have made the point gap with Manchester City 5 points already. Because they are very comfortable against Everton with a 2-0 lead.
The Match isn't over yet. Are you aware that anything can happen in the next 45 minutes of the match?

Saka is a big force behind Arsenal's good run. The boy just can't stop performing match in, match out. Many thought that with Gabriel Jesus' long term injury, Arsenal would completely slump, but they have managed to keep on top so far.
1036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The anonymous user/account on: February 28, 2023, 09:57:55 PM
Admin can also just edit out the username that made the post on request minus necessarily deleting the account like it is the case with this thread that was made not so long ago --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246208

The user who made that thread is still an active member of the community. Anonymous only appears in that thread.
1037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A question on transaction speed. on: February 28, 2023, 09:42:18 PM
I say this because my friend has been complaining about a transaction, that he made from his electrum wallet to another wallet and has been waiting for hours for it to go.
Bitcoin blocks are mined approximately every 10 minutes, sometimes a confirmation can happen within 1 minute of the previous block, other times it can even take more than 50 minutes for a block to be confirmed.

But the biggest factor if one wants their transaction to be confirmed in the next block is the transaction fee rate used. I am somehow certain that your friend did not use the Optimal fee rate, thus a delay in confirming his transaction

Am I missing something, is the movement of bitcoin from one exchange to another faster than moving bitcoins from one wallet like electrum to another?
Bitcoins from an exchange to another have to also get confirmed using the Bitcoin network, so it won't be any different if the same fee rate is used as for a transaction from an electrum wallet to another.  The advantage is that exchanges broadcast the transactions with a fee rate that is even higher than the optimal one in most cases, so chances of the transaction getting confirmed in the next block are very high.

Internal transfers (from one account to another of the same exchange) do not involve Bitcoin network confirmations, so these are usually instant.
1038  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After The Election, What Next? on: February 26, 2023, 09:57:54 PM
Doesn't matter who gets in power, whether through Democracy or a war. The idea of elections and politics is a fraud and scam. Today you vote someone thinking that they are the best leader you will ever have only for them to turn into bloody vampires tomorrow once you hand them a lot of power.

It seems Nigeria is in a very volatile state at the moment. Anything going wrong could trigger a war and bloodshed. Personally, I hope it does not happen. No politician is worth losing life for.

I hope I made my stand clear for joining multi account in the same campaign.
Speaking of joining a signature campaign using multiple accounts. A couple of weeks back I noticed that some of your signature campaign threads had no clause stating that "Joining or enrolling multiple accounts is not allowed" or perhaps I missed seeing it.

Someone can easily take advantage of that, join using multiple accounts, and argue out that they didn't see any rule prohibiting them from enrolling multiple accounts.
Perhaps you could do some update on the campaign thread OPS.
