21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 08, 2017, 04:33:29 AM
is it worthwhile to take part in the airdrops?? have not received anything yet. think because I'm a newbie.

I am a newbie and I received like 3 airdrops already. I think it's just a matter of being able to sign up quickly and be within the the first specific number of signups they allocate the airdrops to. And the follow the rules strictly.

22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: segwit2x price prediction on: November 06, 2017, 11:20:55 AM
Below $1000 is fair enough.

This is the surest speculation here. The price will definitely be below $1,000. But of course it its higher than that then the better.
23  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bakit and ibang tao scam ang tingin nila sa BITCOIN on: November 06, 2017, 10:24:25 AM

24  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avoiding moist in your mining farms on: November 06, 2017, 07:42:41 AM
Humidity plays a crucial part in the room where you have your mining rigs running. Make sure that the humidity is in proper level.

Too cold or too hot in the room will pose a problem.

27  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Monitors?Mining Rig on: November 04, 2017, 07:20:30 PM
I am a newbie...

Is it necessary to keep a monitor attached to each rig?
It seems nobody needs a monitor attached to a mining rig.
I just need some further details.

These are some questions
How do you know your rig is mining after you unplug your monitor, keep updates, etc...
Is it necessary to keep a monitor attach to each rig

Thanks very much for your time!

No, you do not need a monitor. You may sometimes want to use a monitor only when updating or debugging something. Teamviewer may be used but I prefer doing it directly on the computer most of the time.

But to answer the question "if it was necessary to attach a monitor" , the answer is no Smiley

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Overclocking with batchfile on: November 04, 2017, 06:05:02 AM
I want to overclock my RX 480 cards with the .bat file instead of using MSI Afterburner. I have several problems with Afterburner because I use the mining drivers and because I have 2 different GPU brands in my rig (2 XFX GTR with standard core clock 1388 and Powercolor Red Devil with standard core clock 1288) and the rig crashes when I OC different cards.
I found out that you can OC your GPU via the .bat file with this code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal ETHEREUM_WALLET.WORKER_NAME -epsw x -tstop 85 -tt 65 -fanmin 60 -fanmax 100 -cclock 1200 -mclock 2250 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850

I wonder if it's possible to set different overclocks for each card in the .bat file? Is there a guide on using the .bat file overclocking somewhere?

Yes it is possible to set overclock settings in the batchfile, but I, myself, am having trouble making the clock settings on batchfile to work on AMD cards. Is this because the rig has a combination of both NVidia and AMD cards?

Anyway, in order to do this, just add a "," after the first clock value.

For example -cclock 1200,1100,1300 -mclock 2100,2000,2100

Same applies to -cvddc -mvddc and other parameters like the intensity settings for single mining and dual mining. You can set all these settings individually in the batch file.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 03, 2017, 03:52:34 AM
Bitcoin gold has managed to add replay protection so this make things a lot of safer, especially the huge exchange. However, we still have to wait for main net release before we can claim the btg. However, i do know of 1 exchange is trading now.

Good to hear that they implemented replay protection already but wasn't that written on their website long before? Why would they write it there if it wasn't even implemented yet at the time.

I use Trezor and at least looking forward to claiming my BTG coins soon. We shall see how this coin's value fares once everyone gets their coins.

My other coins are in my Trezor wallet, some of the ones not supported by Trezor are in an exchanger.

Do you still do business kahit madami ka ng coins?
Multi millionaire ka na dahil sa value ng coins mo.
Do u think kailangan mo pa bang magbusiness?

Naku sir, kailangan lagi kang maghanap ng source of income.

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think for AirDrops ? on: October 30, 2017, 04:36:03 PM
Not all airdrops are worth joining. Carefully select the airdrops you subscribe to. I do know a few people who make money out of airdrops so yeah, they are indeed for real once their coins get listed on exchanges.

38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 09:18:20 AM
For most, just buying Bitcoin when it's a little lower than the normal, and holding the coins would be a good idea but not for the faint of heart.
If you're more adventurous, then go ahead and buy altcoins when they are low in value and then trade them up.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: October 29, 2017, 02:57:17 PM
Because you can bring your money with you if you put it in bitcoin, with cash you are not allowed to bring big amount of cash authorities will start asking questions if they will know that you have that certain cash on hand. That is why bitcoin is better than cash because its limitless and very handy.

That's why hopefully soon, more and more establishments in more countries can accept Bitcoin, like hotels and stores.

This will make it more convenient to travel to other countries without using a credit card or bringing in a limited amount of cash.
40  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it too late to start investing in mining btc? on: October 29, 2017, 07:11:34 AM
I'd say that it isn't too late, but it's really up to you

I agree with BitcoinboyBlog. You'd want to start with a huge capital in order to really make good money off Bitcoin mining. It isn't too late as many would have said.
