21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MERIT SYSTEM on: February 28, 2018, 02:11:54 PM
Can somebody please explain what is the merit system is Bitcointalk forum.  On what basis one can get merit and what is the easiest way to get merit. Its very confusing:(

You can get Merit by simply posting only things that matter on this forum. If you help other member of the BitcoinTalk community with your advices or in other manners, you will get Merit.
The merit system is still at the begining of it's road so it might take a while until people will get more merit. Most of the people either don't know what is it with it either don't give merit at all.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: February 28, 2018, 02:09:59 PM
I was thinking if bitcoin will ban from every country if bitcoin will vanish one day then what will happen? I got my Answer, Without Bitcoin, my life will be so boring! Now, I spend almost 7 to 8 hours behind bitcoin and bitcointalk, I love it, I enjoy my time. But if bitcoin dies! I can't imagine  Embarrassed

What will happen to you if bitcoin will die  Cry

(Long Life Bitcoin, We will go to the mars again very soon)

Well, don't be so dramatic. People will always find a way to replace an addiction with another addiction.
Personally, I am wasting all day long watching the crypto carts to see if the price went up a little more. But, if there won't be any Bitcoin, I think I would switch to another market.
Real Estate seems like the best risk-profit investment. Smiley
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Pump & Dump Group on: February 26, 2018, 08:11:57 PM
how can i join his Pump & Dump Group?

I get mixed signals about John McAfee. His reviews of ICOs are of any good or he is just doing some positive reviews to get some money, not caring at all about if the ICO truly has potential?

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: February 25, 2018, 07:13:33 PM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

There are certain Bounty Managers that have hosted tens of Bounty Campaigns in the past. I recommend to trust those. And expect Bounty Managers to be at least Sr.Member if not Hero or Legendary Members here on the forum.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth rising while BTC falling **** on: February 25, 2018, 07:09:53 PM
ETHEREUM is now rising again at a full speed. while Bitcoin fell 1.500 USD in just less than 48 hours.
What is the reason why Bitcoin fell and why Ethreum is gaining its value again?

i do have some Ethereum and i will keep holding this till it reaches the 1.000 USD again! how about you?

While Bitcoin loses 100%, Ethereum falls just a little, or it rises. Pretty much Bitcoin loses money while Altcoins gain money. This is how it's done. Usually Altcoins lose money and Bitcoin goes up.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: February 22, 2018, 04:57:06 PM
Of one thing I am sure. Lending ICOs are to be avoided. Bitconnect was a good demonstration of what these types of ICOs are. Avoid like plague!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WePower - what do you think? on: February 22, 2018, 04:55:52 PM
Hi all,

I just created an account at Huobi and bought this coin - i know it for some time, I know they have raised 40 millions USD in ICO...and the main reason why I bought it is this:

https://www.binance.com/vote.html

What do you think, is it a good move? I think every coin gets a boost when listed on binance, am I right?

Thanks!

Once Binance will accept it, it's going to be big. It has already been under the radar of multiple blockchain experts. The bounty campaign has been extremely successful.
Time will tell more.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we prepare to give cryptocurrencies to our family after we die? on: February 21, 2018, 11:35:43 PM
Your private key is all that matters, keep that and don't reveal that to anyone except your family and your love ones! but give it to the most important person in your life the most authority will get all of that it depends on him/her on how he/she will withdraw cryptos.

What happens when you don't share it with your family and you still die? The coins will be lost forever or will there be a way to withdraw those money from an address?
Many coins will be locked out forever, just because situations like htis and that people will forget their private keys.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $0.10? on: February 21, 2018, 11:33:46 PM
CargoX would be my best pick for now. It has extremely high potential, the ICO sold out really fast after it was launched. I recommend!
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: February 21, 2018, 11:32:33 PM
It will not even add value and continue to trust and continue to support it. We all know that bitcoin is getting stronger because of people who embrace and see the possibilities. Bitcoin has been making for nearly a decade and this is not the best time to doubt what can be done sooner or later. Begin to invest and time is important in investing for bitcoin right now. Cool

This is just the beginning of the Journey, there are bigger steps ahead that have to be made. Banks will soon have to comply with crypto, get lost or adapt, no other way.
Governments will have to integrate their laws with crypto as well, mass adoption is on the way.
33  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Boycott Coinmarketcap - allowing ponzi to advertise on: February 19, 2018, 07:03:35 AM
We shouldn't recommend coinmarketcap.com to anyone. They are still advertising ponzis on their site. They should know better! No respect for us or newbies at all. Right now I find this garbage site in banner at top: https://profitablemorrows.com/

As far as I am concerned they use Google Ads for advertisement, so, if you want to blame someone, blame Google Ads. I don't think coinmarketcap wastes it's time verifing all the ads that display on their website.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [WEISS ALERT] The Danger of Tether on: February 19, 2018, 07:02:10 AM
It is some concerning news, especially this point Fact #1. Tether is the only “cryptocurrency” with trading volume that regularly exceeds that of its market cap.

Some things to ask, isn't not binance and bitfinex more aware of this, would they back a coin that is a weak link in their system?

They will back a coin like this just because they might not have enough reasons or proof of what's going on.
The amount of people using USDT is another important factor, maybe they don't want to lose clients and so on.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to not waste time with terrible bounties - for dummies on: February 19, 2018, 07:00:29 AM
Another important factor is to actually pay attention to the Bounty Manager. Is it a Newbie or Jr.Member, or a well known Bounty Manager from BitcoinTalk which has been holding other Bounties in the past and has a reputation for himself.
Another hint could be the hype around the project.
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About TOR Browser on: February 18, 2018, 07:59:28 AM
Are you online in bitcointalk using a tor browser? or using a regular browser like google chrome or mozilla.
If you use a tor, please tell me why?
and if you're using a regular browser, explain the difference between online using tor and online using a normal browser.

I tried to use TOR but it's a little bit different from the regular browsers. So I gave up on it, I rather stick to my good old Chrome. Smiley
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: tips for begginers on: February 18, 2018, 07:58:17 AM
any advice for beginner trader ? what exchange to use and worth trust ? what coins to consider trading in ? what strategies to use ?

From what I've learned so far, these are a few things you should consider when buying cryptos at this moment:
1. If you buy a coin/token worth of 50$, expect to pay around 20-30% of the total value of the coins when you withdraw them from the exchange;
2. Do not do daytrading, it's very risky and you may end up losing more money than you earned. HOLD for long term instead (years) and you won't be affected by the markets price changes.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: February 18, 2018, 07:54:04 AM
You are stuck in the Jr.Member rank since the new changes with Merit happened, this is pretty much something that happened to everyone.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: February 18, 2018, 07:50:12 AM
When someone is dragging 900 billion dollars from your account to conver them to cryptos, imagine the nightmare. In the next few years the banks are going to be ruined!
And if not, the banks will go through major changes.
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever been scammed? on: February 16, 2018, 10:48:08 AM
I have been scammed once and it only happened because I received and e-mail that seemed legit.
It was an ICO which I really wanted to participate to, but, I missed the sale, and it ended quickly, the next day I got an e-mail saying that I get a second chance. Instead of a second chance I got screwed! Sad

Never buy coins of your ICOs from an e-mail notification. Always go straight to the official website and do it from there.
I learnt my lesson!
