21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Multi-Coin][Stratum] multipool.in - Always Mine the most profitable coin on: June 16, 2013, 03:30:04 PM
Hey guys...hereīs my next question coming up my mind:

Why is speed jumping around that showed way?

My miner is mining at a very constant speed and says 1.800MH/s which is about where I marked the red line.
So have I something missconfigured (as said above Iīm using a mining proxy) or is that just normal?

Yah, can't connect with cgminer on 7777 either.
But you can connect to other ports than 3333?

Hey...have switched from BTC to altcoins and found your multipool very attractive.
Looks great!

I have connection problems with my stratum proxy though and hope anyone can help me out.
I use slush0īs mining proxy (https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining-proxy) and have never had problems with it.
Before I was mining at bitminter. There I connected to port:8332

Now: If i use
"mining_proxy.py o- stratum+tcp://multipool.in p- 3333 it canīt connect
then I used
"mining_proxy.py o- multipool.in p- 3333 and it was working but of course it was mining TRC - because thatīs the port for TRC -

Then I tried:
"mining_proxy.py o- multipool.in p- 3339 and also with the port 7777 but then it does not connect.

Anyone here who can help me out with some ideas?

Hoo boy...what is this shit? Have issues frequently since last night. My miner always switches back to low clock after he couldnīt contact the pool.

Hope the guys from BitMinter fix that issues soon, otherwhise I could start thinking about to change pool.  Undecided
25  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Comprehensive ASICMiner Blade Setup on: June 06, 2013, 07:36:29 PM
What can I do about following problem:
I have two blades running on high clock with enough(!) air cooling which menas 2x 120mm fans on the sinks and 1x 120mm fan on the back to get air circulation on the back. And this fans does cool each of the blades.

Now Iīm running a stratum proxy on a RSPi which also runns fine. But from time to time the blades seem to restart and at the time of my notice they have run for about 4-10 hours on low clock speed.

What can be the problem here? What about some ideas to prevent this?

Has onyone else connectivity issues since the last 12 hours?
I have a stratum-proxy running on my RaspberryPi that have run without problems the last days but tonight it had connection errors and did not reconnect by itself (5-6hours mining time waltzed off).

Since Iīm in office now I canīt check my rig but canīt connect via API app on my iPhone which I could in the past. In addition to this the Bitminter homepage seems to be offline.

World is going down?  Huh
27  Other / Beginners & Help / How hot are your Erupter Blade running? [temperature!] on: May 28, 2013, 09:39:37 PM
Of course this question just goes to those of us who have a ASICminer Block Erupter Blade in hands!

I use two Enermax 120mm fans at the front heatsink. If I touch the sink and the air that is flowing out the fans it not even very warm. But when I touch the backside, where the chips are located the temperature is pretty high! I put a fan headding at the back that puts fresh air onto it.
I wonder why they havenīt also put a sink at the back when itīs getting hotter at the back than at the front.

Did you oberserve the same or anyone who has measured the temeprature with an infrared thermometer?

Why LTC? What is the futur risk of BTC?
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you a newbie? on: May 22, 2013, 09:13:38 AM
YES, Iīm a newbie and the is one of my biggest questions about BTC:

What gives me a safe feeling when I pay someone with BTC?
I get his wallet adress, send the money - and then?

Nobody knows who this guy is and he can waltz off with those BTC and I wonīt get my item or whatever I ordered.

If I use regular bank wire I at least know his name, right?

Have I missed an argument?

What are the most important influencing factors?

Would BTC drop if all russian moneys that where put into BTC during zyprus crisis would leave BTC and change back to hard money?

It was a dokumentation on YouTube and the idea of 'earn the money while I sleep' Wink
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USB Powered Miner >300MH/s on: May 22, 2013, 08:41:19 AM
I think those USB miners are a nice option to mine from 'on the move' in office on your laptop e.g.
Probably nobody would buy a 32 port USB hub for 10Ghash rig...instead this cumbersome rig you would by an erupter blade Wink
