Hi there, help me here with linux version. Using Mint 20.1, Vega 56, amdgpu-pro 20.45. Trying to mine a cnr coin, but all I get is ~/teamredminer-v0.8.1-linux$ ./start_cnr.sh

randomX has been a bust so far , i cant see this many cpu farms active , botnets or fpgas , back to square O
I don't know. My 3 systems hashrate went up 4x with less power. Network hashrate tripled. |

Mining a CN/R coin like Lethean gives no trouble at all.
It was mining it until now. But I want my 4300 H/s monero hashrate from it.
Supposedly you need to turn off Opcache in bios Does that go for another name? Can't see that option. It's a Gigabyte B450M DS3H. Common options Then AMD CBS/CPU So i belive its in the M.I.T section. Then go to Advanced CPU core section Then Opcache control, Then just disable i wonder how it is in the taichi x399 board. i think i did it correctly but i am not at 6000 or 7000 with. my thread ripper 1920x. i am doing 4900-5100 which is better then the 600 i was doing. i used a different option something like cbs/cpu If it runs, but slow, memory timings should be the problem. I was getting 10500 with my 3900x, and after following advice here, it's now @ 13500 H/s... |

At least XMRig started fine and didn't exit until now, without the need to launch ryzen master and fiddling with settings. Thanks! |

This fork is some kind of joke? After 12 hours network hashrate only grow up and difficulty too. Another scam for private fpga miners/botnets.
Pretty sure there isn't a FPGA for RandomX. What we are seeing is a ton of CPUs hitting it, and pretty hard. Guess all those Ryzen and Threadrippers are having a good day. Profit went down considerably throughout the day. Are you kidding? How they can have "good day" if quantity of miners is growing up and difficalty too? They can mine same amount with previous algo. Brainless fork. Hashrate per unit of energy expended is significantly higher for RandomX. That's why the hashrate and difficulty are increasing. This. My hashrate almost tripled with half the power, using only CPU, instead of CPU + 2 Vega's 56. |

I'll try it.
But since yesterday I got it running, don't know why. It has something to do with Ryzen Master being on.
Now, this is a weird behaviour, it's mining without a hiccup 8 treads @ 4300 H/s for 14h now...
And it's definitely something with hardware setting, the other Ryzen 1700 has exact same motherboard and memories, and I did clone its hard drive and booted it on the uncooperating Ryzen Machine. It displayed the same behaviour, exited a couple seconds after it started mining, with same OS, settings and XMRig config that works on the other machine.

Went to Lethean 2 days before Monero fork, but them LTHN network tripled the hashrate after last saturday.

Help me here on a most weird problem. I have a Ryzen 1700 machine, with 16 Gb RAM and 3 Ellesmere cards that refuses to mine RandomX. It already mined it fine, then XMrig and xmr-stak just exited. I thought it was a config problem, so I copied the config.json and edited address and walet and it started mining it no problems at all. Today I rebooted because a card wasn't sending shares, and now I can't mine.  It just exits, sometimes sends one or 2 shares and then exits. I use R7 1700 can get 4000H/S at 3.8G
But when I use "-t 16" hashrate will drop to 1200H/S
By the way I have R7 2700 and 2700X,same problem.
I found other guys that use 3600 with all threads ("-t 12) can get 6000H/s
Why use all threads hashrate drops a lot forR7 1700/2700? But not affect R5 3600/3700X.
I have tried SRBMiner and XMR-STAK,same problem.
Because it has 16 Mb L3 cache, 3600 and 3700 have 32 Mb. If you run more than 8 threads, you'll get out of L2/L3 cache (2 Mb per thread), that's why it outputs less hashrate. Oh...Thanks a lot! A little help here. I have a Ryzen 7 1700 machine and I can't get it to mine Random X. It says virtualmem aloc failed or something like that, connects to pool, it submits 1 share or so and it exits. Same behaviour witb XMrig. It has 16 Gb of Ram, virtual mem is 32-64000 Mb, I enabled large pages (it was running fine with cryptonight r, memory was "pinned"). What I'm I missing here? |

Seems stable for now after almost 24h, with a little bump of memory voltage. Tomorrow it'll start to shine with RandomX  What cooling you using, is it the stock air cooler? How much you pulling power from the wall? No, as I said, do not mine with 3900x with stock cooler. I'm using a Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240, mid range AIO, but it keeps the CPU 20ºc cooler than stock cooler. It's pulling 520W at the wall, CPU + 2 Vegas 56 mining cryptonight_r. Power supply is an Enermax Triathlor 1000W. yeah that is the bargain cooler. i have four cpus. i use the corsair 280 aio it is the best i use the fractal 240 aio i. use the evga 240 aio i use the cooler master aio 240 the corsair is the coolest the other three are about the same. and the cooler master is 30 dollars less. Agree. However it was cheap and it's a world of difference from the stock cooler. |
