The rhetorics of your OP is like asking if you will travel by air to the far east again because of the air crashes. ICOs will ever be. What you need to do is due diligence study of ICOs and especially, the promoters.
One thing I notice is that some managers have distinguished themselves in managing successful campaigns. So start your study from the manager of the project. Look at what the ICO want the funds for. Then, the executives of the project, are they on social media? What is there pedigree?

What do you think when bitcoin will be in the access of common people. Because in world there are so many individuals who does not know about bitcoin. I know some people in my country/community that does not know about bitcoin. There is a group of people who only know that there is an online currency that is making people rich in very limited time. This year has been a bit challenging for bitcoins as well as Ether to survive. Bitcoins are facing a quite low price now and also i think that most of the investors have taken their money off bitcoins. Here is the graph showing us the price for bitcoins from 2009 to 2017  .................... I really hope that the price for bitcoins can again show us immense growth as it showed in 2017.If you look carefully, the trend or pattern shown in the graph is being followed. There was a sharp rise in 2013 compared to 2012 the the price dropped in 2014. It steadily rose in the subsequent years to another peak in 2017. Going by this scenario, it is not surprising then why the drop and the extended bear run of prices in 2018. We should be looking out for a better price in 2019 the a great spike in 2021. |

When there is price increase, the rate of BTC increase is faster than ETH. I also observe that when market is dropping, ETH drops faster than BTC. IMO, it is better to change to BTC, but I personally like ETH over BTC.

The exchange have spent money to build the exchange, also spent money to build credibility and a huge follower-ship so they need to recoup their cost. Also, they have staff to pay and other bills to settle. All of these cost are offset from the proceeds of registration. Without that, exchange will collapse in due time.
