21  Economy / Reputation / Re: Likely low quality poster alts. on: May 03, 2024, 12:09:10 AM
The Mansory22022 UID was created just two days after the post made by Parklane777 quoted by the OP.

Parklane777 has received just one merit from Argoo who according to [BPIP] the whole of June 2019 resetting their password.

The Polo7 UID was created on the fourth of July 2019 Date Registered:    2019-07-04, 18:38:45 less than a week after Argoo's last password reset.

The Parklane777 UID was created less than a week prior to Polo7 being last active:

Date Registered:    2023-12-13, 05:25:13 Polo7

12/17/2023 8:11:16 PM    woke up Polo7
Last Active:    2023-12-18, 06:12:26 Parklane777

According to Ninja, all of them (including Argoo) have posted the most in Economics section.

22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Australia speculated to also launch a spot ETF for Bitcoin on: May 02, 2024, 02:36:21 PM
The abc.net.au/news website would be a good place to start (maybe the SBS one too) I'll have a look over the next few days and see if either can shed light on the speculation. (Not sure if ASIC has such details - will advise in due course)
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 02, 2024, 02:31:18 PM
I'm very heartened by the numerous replies and encouragement to do some pushups.

A friend of mine is a personal trainer, I'll be seeing her next week and will ask her to show me how to do both push ups and sit ups (the former I really can't do while the later I end up moving in a walrus lurching style from one end of a hall or room to the other and look very dorky doing too)

I have a walking app to track my daily walking (usually a min 1˝ - 2 miles (2 - 3Klm) per day) so push ups might become a thing I do, too. (Just as an aside, I got advised to "walk up all flights of stairs briskly" for a very short burst of exercise which I've been doing for close to twelve months now).

even for icopress, that is quite a feeble attempt to discredit two unconnected users.

Here is Jackpotracer's post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474047.msg63833856#msg63833856

Take a look at this post by a member who has well understood Blackjack.fun, avoiding to answer the important questions

No one took the funds away from you. So, what is the scam about?

Are you not going to answer? Where or How did he use these supposed exploits to his advantage? Where is the proof. How come this question is always avoided

and here is the link in that post:

As you can see, Jackpotracer has quoted ineedhelpplease and in doing so, hasn't properly used the quote tags (they probably stripped the tags out).

Conclusion: icopress is incorrect.

Jackpotracer and ineedhelpplease are not alts
25  Economy / Lending / Re: NO LONGER NEEDED - Small ($10) loan until the 1st on: May 02, 2024, 01:20:41 AM
I also love these "legendary" accounts that most likely never actually got any merit in their life spam. Looks trustworthy, but isn't.

Couldn't agree mere - the two who DT "trust" this guy only did so via trades

Interestingly, they registered a week after I did https://bpip.org/Profile?id=131444 yet I can't recall reading their name - ever (and yet they've never woken up, so they've been active for eleven years gaining "Legendary" via the airdropped merits).
26  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk features I've wondered about on: May 02, 2024, 01:07:52 AM
Given the OP wants to delete their UID here in the forum, I can't help but wonder why they then turn around and start asking pointed questions about very specific aspects of the Forum?
27  Economy / Lending / Re: [WANT] 6000 USDC Secured Loan on: May 02, 2024, 01:04:03 AM
Technically this loan *is* gambling.

But why be critical of this person taking out loans to gamble when there is another (ban evasion) user who is doing the same thing and you are facilitating their loans - why cherry pick who you are critical of when they are both lending to gamble?
28  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Future of testnet3 network. on: May 02, 2024, 12:59:29 AM
There are still faucets dispensing testnet coins - I donated a small portion of my stockpile to one of the newer ones that was launched here a year or two ago.

I note also that they are being traded - that was only a matter of time.  Now, it looks as though people want to block those trades by resetting the testnet itself (which could cause consensus issues down the track)...
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Australia will also launch a spot ETF for Bitcoin on: May 02, 2024, 12:45:53 AM
Might want to source a local media outlet given such govt entities don't usually give running commentaries about what they *might* do.  (don't get me wrong - I don't doubt an overseas media outlet is speculating, but that's not the same as if it were announced here in Australia).
30  Economy / Reputation / Re: To JollyGood and icopress, on: May 02, 2024, 12:29:08 AM
I just replied to BitcoinGirl.Club (who has *cough* issues) concerning icopress and now I'm diverted to this thread where ineedhelpplease also has (more *coughing*) issues ...

Did your blue highlighter run out of ink?  That's quite a ramble of an OP.  (and no, please don't PM me about this, thank you).
31  Economy / Reputation / Re: BitcoinGirl.Club: How a condescending attitude equates to trust exclusion on: May 02, 2024, 12:12:52 AM
The OP must be running out of people to Troll - I'm the latest to have been spammed with their rambling blue highlighted navel gazing.

As to one of your questions concerning icopress contacting me - not since I blocked them quite a while ago when they tried to manipulate the DT rankings.

32  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 02, 2024, 12:03:01 AM
TL;DR

Here in Australia, bitcoin has already surpassed the $100,000 threshold of the subject of this thread. (admittedly in the local currency, not in U.S. dollars).

I saw a meme a very long time ago - two characters from The Matrix - one is saying to the other something about in the future, you won't need to compare the price of bitcoin to fiat money because you will only need bitcoin, not fiat dollars.  Has anyone got that one they can share?

As to pushups... If I start now, I might be able to do a push-up by the time bitcoin passes its first $100k USD milestone.  Grin
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours / Olympics on: May 01, 2024, 11:45:41 PM
I might be able to catch a game over the weekend. Last weekend it was wall to wall League - as well as the games mentioned above, I saw the Dolphins clumsy loss, then the embarrassing loss by the Raiders on their coaches 500th game.

During the week, the Rabbitohs have sacked their coach as they have had just one win this season.  Tonight, the Rabbitohs are going to be up against the Panthers who as we know are firming up as finals contenders yet again.

So on to my pics for round eight:

Panthers, Sea Eagles, Broncos, Bulldogs, Storm, Dolphins, Warriors, Sharks.

The Bulldogs game could be close against the Tigers who are showing improved form.
The Sea Eagles captain had his dangerous throw/tackle charge down graded - his first charge in his long career.  I'm sure he'll be wanting to play a careful game but will be out to show he can still play a clean game.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours / Olympics on: April 27, 2024, 08:30:51 AM
Broncos have started brightly 0-16 at half time, Tigers have a fair bit of catching up to
do now in the second half...

The Tigers got applauded as they left the field at half time (they had a try disallowed and, like the other games this week, the commentators are saying this is a game for the ages).

The second half will recommence very shortly.  ($26 at kickoff of the second half)

In an hour, the beleaguered Cowboys will try to stare down the Panthers.  (The game is being played in Townsville, so the Cowboys may have a home ground advantage)
35  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ACH & Wire/SWIFT: Buying USD.C and USDT @ $1.14 on: April 27, 2024, 08:12:21 AM
block chain TX details please?
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours / Olympics on: April 27, 2024, 07:46:33 AM
I'm going to sit down in an hour and watch the Tigers Vs Broncos game - last night I went to three from four pics when the Sea Eagles decimated the Eels (who admittedly started very strongly, then went to water well before half time).
37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: QR Code Scanners to check BTC balance on: April 27, 2024, 07:23:22 AM
My recommendation would be to have a look at this thread: Bitcoin Unit Converter:🔁Convert satoshi, mBTC,Finney, bit to 170 fiat currency - bitmover is always looking for new challenges to improve the site and implementing a QR code scanner feature might be one of them.

Never mind - I read the first post and replied then went back and read the thread...  Roll Eyes
38  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitco.in on: April 27, 2024, 07:19:10 AM
I've been trying to contact someone over at Freebitco.in faucet to try and resolve an issue.  Tried all of their social media channels and have written @theQuin numerous times and can't get ahold of anyone.  Anybody have any other ideas?

I participated in their signature campaign a while ago (see link in my signature) - when I signed up with them their preferred email was gmail and there was an expectation that you provide a phone number as well as your gmail details.  You should be receiving regular emails from them which have details of how to contact them.

Have you tried clicking the "reply" button in any of your emails from them?

Be absolutely certain you want to wield the "scam accusation" hammer lest it fall on you.  I spoke in haste - there are a number of threads concerning hacks at freebitco.in which seem to have occurred around the time users have modified their security settings.
