21  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: November 03, 2013, 06:52:52 PM
Dear Blackarrow!

I would be also interested in one of your mining units BUT 100gh/s unit is simply not worth the effort to run and maintain but the 2 Th/s unit is too much risk for me, taking into consideration that I dont know your company (you know the risk to transfer you 4.900 USD...)

So, do you plan a ''middle'' performance unit?

We're considering making a 1Thash unit but that will be half price of a X3.

So would this be put for a later shipping date, or would this be able to be pushed out with the February shipment?

Wondering if live betting will be up for any of the NFL games?

Now money becomes a religion? Really pathetic Roll Eyes

Hmmm, could list a lot more religions that are based of more ridiculous things.

But basing a religion on bitcoin could give it a bad wrap with some people, like scientology.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much to put a bitcoin flag TO DA MOON? on: November 03, 2013, 06:15:13 PM
We should all donate for our very own bitcoin satelite!

I would donate for this.

I think moon is a little to over the top, but satellite would be more feasible.

Well, living in Calgary, I am interested to see where they're going to be placing it in the city. I haven't been able to find any information regarding this, but last time I checked was about a week ago.

Would be a great investment for sure.
This is pretty cool. I do not think the palm scanner is necessary. Silly Canadian financial regulations..

IIRC they weren't required to, but they did it for security down the line.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank accounts - maybe sooner than we think? on: November 03, 2013, 05:44:20 PM
If there is any way for a bank account to hold BTC, then be able to use at POS/ATM as fiat or use at BTC supported locations I would be in. But would have to be a Canadian company doing this.

But we do have Coinkite/Virtex doing something similar

I must be missing something, somebody would actually pay for this?

Thanks for the support.
Right now we don't have a ton of merchandise outside of our mining equipment.
We have Trezor wallets on order and we have a Piper paper wallet printer now as well.
We are also working on educational starter kits for people new to Bitcoin or new to mining.
Let me know what kinds of things you would like to see in there.
We are open to anything Bitcoin related or even just anything that would have a significant crossover appeal with the Bitcoin community.

Maybe see if 7bucktees would work with you on getting a bunch of bitcoin tshirts? They made me up a Canadian bitcoin shirt upon request, so sure they would do a lot more custom pieces.

Im working on this with them right now Smiley, exactly for why you stated.
Interested to see how this pans out.

You think if this got worked out, it would be going out with February batch?

Really excited to see this, was quite disappointed to see the lack of BTC support in Calgary.

Will be there opening day to get some BTC!

Sorry if this has been asked before, is 2 bit authenticator being implemented?

Also, love this. Way rather bet BTC than CAD!

Hello, would love to be taken off Newbie status, so I can take part in various threads throughout the community!

I hope so, but not before I can jump in and buy some!
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's stupid that newbies must make 5 posts and browse for 4 hours. Here's why on: October 30, 2013, 02:34:43 AM
Yeah, I didn't know about the posting limit or I would've started a lot sooner. Have the 4 hours, but now I just have to make useless posts in here until I have the limit.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, stay away from altcoins. please on: October 30, 2013, 02:27:59 AM
I wouldn't put heavy amounts of money into any alt coin, but would put a couple bucks into Litecoin.

Cool, having some fun with the referral bonus Smiley

But whole heartedly agree on this, and it's nice to see a representative from a company saying this.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Android forum app on: October 30, 2013, 02:12:21 AM
I would totally be into this, do most of my bitcoin reading on my S3.
