21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which sub 1 Cent coin/token do you think have the best potential and why? on: January 21, 2018, 11:04:22 PM
The way to make the big money is to invest in coins/tokens when they are sub $0.01 in value - seen some good gains in SIA and HTML5 Coin recently.

Are there coins around now at 1 or 2 Satoshi which could do the same as HTML5?
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum? on: January 21, 2018, 10:54:35 PM
Plasma then Caspar and the number of tokens and dApps using the platform - a lot of people are invested in the Ethereum platform for a long time to come..

I could see it going back up to the $1500 mark over the next 6 months and maybe $2000 by year end - that's pure speculation on my part and of course anything could happen in Crypto world  Smiley  Definitely worth looking at tokens too as when Ethereum rises I guess the value of tokens (or most) follow suit?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins You Bought On This Dip on: January 21, 2018, 10:37:18 PM
Some Eth and Sia.

It's interesting when you look at the charts for Bitcoin - a lot of altcoins all follow the same pattern so I'm wondering if it actually matters which coin you buy... Cool
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: January 21, 2018, 07:12:37 PM
Could it be a good strategy to purchase after an ICO? i.e. do most coins/tokens fall initially?  Probably worth doing some investigation (or has this already been done)  I'd imagine a lot of post ICO prices fall as investors/bounty hunters sell for a small profit - especially ICO's where investors have received a bonus.   Would be interesting to see the figures on this.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty on: January 21, 2018, 06:48:24 PM
Novatoken Bounty is a really well run Bounty.  There's still time to get involved - 10 days left - but it's useful to check out also as a example of a good bounty with good rewards.

Read the Bounty details here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2427778.msg24857653#msg24857653

And check out the website for more details - for example check the roadmap and whitepaper.

https://novablitz.com

And join in the chat here:

https://t.me/novablitz

For me it's the Bounty I check all other bounty programs against - not many come close.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How To Find Paid Social Media/Bounty Champaign on: January 21, 2018, 06:07:35 PM
Choose a Bounty where you have an interest in the project and become involved in the community.  For the NovaToken Bounty there is a Telegram group at https://t.me/novablitz and it's a very active group with quick answers.  There's also an official announcements chat at Telegram.  Check the team members when you;re looking at a Bounty or ICO - are they active and involved in group chats? Is the website updated regularly.  I joined the https://novablitz.com Bounty when it was a couple of weeks in and I could see without much effort that the CEO and Team Members were very active - they responded quickly to any questions and explained everything clearly - plus it was one of the best rewards I'd seen for a Bounty - still is of course - 10 days left.  It doesn't take too much research to get a feel as to how legitimate a company/ICO/product and team is.  Be dilligent Smiley
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptos are about to explode? on: January 20, 2018, 09:57:43 PM
SIA will be interesting to watch what happens - especially with the Bitmain ASIC and Obelisk release too - Very interested to see what effect Bitmain's ASIC has on SIA and also whether there would be a softfork at some point?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Cashout on: January 20, 2018, 01:39:22 PM
Depends on your coins/tokens and location.

coinbase - higher fees but is one way to get your cash out - depends on the amount of coins to make it worthwhile.
switch your tokens if need be at shapeshift.io
or invest at bittrex
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Last 10 days of the Novatoken (NVT) Bounty on: January 20, 2018, 01:17:24 PM
This is one of the best run Bounties I've seen and it's coming up to the last ten days so there is still time to get involved - finishes on the 31st Jan.

The token itself has a lot of potential - proof of stake ownership of trading cards with a already established game of the ability for the token to be used for other trading games.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to BTC and other ALTs? on: January 18, 2018, 03:57:53 PM
Most look to be on their way back up - it's standard for markets to do this really - seems a bit harsher in Cryptocurrency of course where the markets are a lot more volatile - ride the waves - at some point there will be less volatility I'm sure... Cheesy

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: January 14, 2018, 02:40:26 PM
If you're watching your phone constantly - and have another job or studies - then you are going to make mistakes - being stressed is not a great way to trade sensibly, in any market.  Sure, the adrenaline is good and abuzz but you will make mistakes.  It's better to have set targets that you stick to - if you're a short term trader then set limits and levels at which you will sell/buy - you can place orders at those levels and just wait.  The same for longer trading too - set a level you'd like to sell at and wait - you always have options to buy/sell before.  Also, don't invest more than you can afford to lose/don't take unnecessary risks and do your homework - the more work you put in the more you will get out of it - of course that's the same with anything in life.  Accept any mistakes you make - that's just part of learning Smiley
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: January 14, 2018, 02:28:28 PM
There's always going to be corrections - but it doesn't feel like Alts are going to be as low as they were before last years rises - Siacoin - as an example shows an upward trend long term - Eth too.  Bitcoin may well break out a lot higher - some people predict $1m per coin at some stage - which would give it the stability needed for mass uptake.  Personally I just research, if i like the feel of a project/coin or there are upcoming releases - caspar for example - then i may dip in.  Depends on teh personality and aversion to risk i guess - or you can just ride the waves!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 13, 2018, 06:09:53 PM
I would think ETH may jump with Caspar - plus there are a lot of projects/tokens on top of ETH  $132000 would be incredible - maybe a few more years (10?) for that once regulations are in place and the crazy world of cryptocurrency has settled somewhat.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta no trusted anymore? its getting slower and dizzy on: January 13, 2018, 05:46:20 PM
Can you suggest a good alternative - somewhere safe ideally - looking for somewhere that has low fees but also covers the range of tokens that etherdelta does...
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: highest amount you earned from bounty ??? on: January 13, 2018, 03:38:57 PM
If you're active in a Bounty through the period then the potential to earn money is good - I think if you're more interested in the end product/coin/token/system then you're more likely to make a better contribution - airdrops are ok but generally I'm not sure you'll earn fortunes in those.  My advice would be find something you're interested in using and a product that you believe in and then hold rather than dump as soon as they hit an exchange.  A good end product has a good chance of rising in value.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 13, 2018, 03:33:05 PM
There are a lot of successful ICO's - they're not just about raising funds but also about raising knowledge and interest in an end product or project - and attracting users.  People may not join in on an ICO but could still use the product at the end - and maybe invest later in the coins/tokens.  NovaBlitz's Novatoken ICO - running until 31st Jan - for example has interested a lot more players - and potentially will have other ECG companies/games interested post launch in using the platform.

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / CoinGecko vs CoinMarketCap on: January 12, 2018, 03:49:17 PM
Which site are people using most to check prices.  I've generally been looking at coingecko but there does seem to be a price difference when looking at coinmarketcap.

Look at the price at the moment for ETH/USD:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/        $1,258.93 USD (2.29%)

https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum/usd        $1,290.21

Quite a difference! Which one is more accurate?  Or another site?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to invest? on: January 12, 2018, 02:09:11 PM
Hello. I started trading a few weeks ago and i lost about 80% of what i invested (I invested in TRON, Ripple and Cardano). I started with 100 dollars and now i only have 22 to invest. I know its very little but im from Portugal Tongue and don't have more money to invest.
Can someone please give me some insights or strategies?

Thank you in advance and i'm sorry if this is something i shouldn't do.
Good trading you guys!

Sell the rest of your coin and start another way. First, you can buy again with your own money ( but don't loan ) and take the right coin, such as bitcoin, eth and ltc, but you should wait until end of January to buy again. Second, try to become bounty hunter like I do, obey the rules and never spam, free coin will be yours. Third, start to learn again about trading. Join trade group, read book and practice with demo account. Loss is risk, face it but keep going.

Totally agree with this - Joining a Bounty is a great way to learn about cryptocurrency and the various uses of the Blockchain (there are of course many many) Research and only do one at a time - much easier to manage - and when you get your reward hopefully you've had time to research while in the campaign and have some ideas about which coins or tokens you'd like to invest in - all of the people I've come across so far have been incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - the guys at https://novablitz.com have been really quick to respond and answer any questions at https://t.me/novablitz as I'm sure other campaigns are too Smiley
