There have been a number of recent 51% double spend attacks in the crypto space during the past months. That is why the SnowGem team proudly announces that we have just successfully finished testing of our revolutionary network protection solution aka Thor´s Hammer — masternode Proof of Work ( mPoW). In the coming days the security update will be released along with information about how we will be protecting the SnowGem blockchain.  This is also last mandatory update which will be done manually, because our Asgard system is now fully tested and will be released in the begining of February. All masternodes owners will be able to migrate to this platform. @Mercatox can you please explain why you holding the XSG (aka Snowgem) project to ransom by having the projects wallet in maintenance for over a month now without any explanation ? Numerous tickets has been created and the only response members got are "Soon" for a company offering a trading service this is rather unprofessional and extremely immature in the way you have responded or lack thereof in this incident. It would be highly appreciated if you can or have the decency to respond with a reasonable answer as to whats going on and when the issue will be resolved. This is really sad as the three core devs are busting their ass daily but are hamstrung with this exchange not enabling trading for this project which they had paid for. this petition really shows how "they" are acting. I urge all concerned forum participants to sign the petition! Since the new rules in obtaining ranks limit us and give privileges to old users, as the competition for them will be less! what kind of competition? competition between users to get a spot in paid campaign?  Is this really all what it is about for so much users here. and yes i have a paid sig and i earn something while reading and posting here. Lol this is funny, being paid in an ad campaign is just a bonus, we here since the dawn of where it all started not purely for financial gain, I think this petition has more to do with how much certain individuals are about lose than actually being part of the forum. |

Another thing I noticed in the merit system: almost all merit goes to people who already have merit. It's like in society, where rich people, like to be around rich people and help each other getting richer. If a newbie (or poor guy) comes up with something he/she often does not get the credit for it.
I would send you a Merit-Point. But I don't have any left. Because I think you are right - you made a good conclusion. For well-established users its easier to get merits. That why i proposed the change to let people rank up without merits. But don't let people use signatures without merits. There are a lot of prejudices. Prejudices against the post of newbies. I kind of agree with this sentiment, what we have to ask ourselves how much can we lesson the impact of continuous unrelated posts that fill our boards. Account farming is a problem mostly those that engage in bounty hunting but we will never eradicate the problem entirely. And I agree with your post, you will most likely receive more merits from people that you know or in your circle, the merit system still needs more work but I guess its work in progress at this point. |

For all the traders out there, I would like to recommend it to stake your PRIV coins in your wallet and avoid long time deposits in any exchange site for safe method since we cannot control those exchange markets if somethings wrong with it. I hope anyone will take precautions and doing the trade safe practices since there's other markets scammed traders funds by exits (CoinsMarkets & OctaEx for example). Another safe measures (sending funds from wallet to market) is using the PRIV faucet ( http://faucet.privcy.io) in your personal deposit wallet from markets to test if the deposits will succeed or not. Without a doubt this is immeasurable advice, a few of my friends succumbed to exchange exit scams and lost whatever they had laying there. Only send the amount you need to trade with and send it back to your wallet when done. The faucet is another great idea, thanks for the tip. |

It is very important that we have 5k PRIV for airdrop 11 to get the 95%. That's why if we think we can't get to that by airdrops alone, maybe for loyalty we can buy more from the markets to achieve the 5k PRIV balance requirement to get the 95%. Have a nice day fellas. Investing for this project is a great option. investing in this project is a waste of money. No idea, no living github. The coin is just for pump and dump scheme. If you think its a waste of money then dont invest. Simple..... but first look at the achievement of the proects.. web wallet, partnerships, cmc and exchanges in a very short time.. There are no achievements. Clone of deeponion. CMC and garbage exchanges is not an achievement. It is probably worth waiting for the release of Whitepaper. And to draw some conclusions only after this. While only there is a process of formation of community and initial distribution of coins. As for the achievements, the partnership with Testament is certainly such for me  What he fails to understand that there is ambition to create utility, that with the community support we currently enjoying can amount to great things, and in all honesty we basically on track in achieving the milestones set out by the team. Don't just judge a project from face value, give it time to grow and you'll see what can be achieved. |

The new market place to acquire merchandise is a great addition, I hope this add or at least is a start in creating utility for the project. How can I see the daily volume for privcy on the crex? I do not see indicators showing this.

There is volumes in crex. Privcy doesn't has much. 0.4 BTC daily. To get listed on CMC you need to have $100.000 in 24 hours trading volumes, then they will list your coin. There was 50000 USD rule early for listing on CMC. 0.4BTC is really nothing. Privcy needs other exchanges to get more volume. 50000 USD makes it 6.75 BTC. So it is something, but we been told it's 100000 USD, not 50k. I have seen in another group that the minimum trading volume as part of their conditions don't apply anymore. I don't know how credible this is but checking the CMC FAQ it doesn't indicate any amount as a prerequisite for listing, maybe we should do a formal enquiry just to make sure. |
