I have just spent close to 6 hours reading the white paper and the entire 27 page thread as due diligence in order to decide whether or not to invest in this project. Frankly I was astonished as to how many people don't even read a shred of the thread as the same questions kept coming up over and over again. This thread could have easily been 7 pages of solid information had everyone read previous posts before asking questions already answered.
Anyway, I am especially impressed with devs for jumping in and addressing every single inquiry and concern. I am moving forward with my investments in this much needed exchange and can only hope that the token sale is so successful that they are able to hire more talented devs and deliver ahead of schedule.

Thank you for the support! And yes, the same questions pop up very often. What would be the first coins included beyond the demo release? Will Monero be included in that first batch of listed coins or will it be integrated later?
I ask because XMR seems to be the coin that is hard to integrate maybe because of its RingCT feature? I know Jaxx had a hard time integrating it, and dropped it from their road map.
Well yes, Monero is definitely harder to integrate than most, not even so much because of RingCT, but the protocol itself that's different. It won't be available from the start, but eventually once we finish integrating our more prioritized coins (especially platforms), we will add Monero as well. Hi guys, few questions.
1. What is the timeframe after the token sale the product will finished and launched?
2. Will the product launchin alpha stage?
3. Looks like there is only one full time developer right now.
Of course even one smart developer can pull it single handedly in the beginning, just like FB and Microsoft in the early days.
But how long after the crowdsale you are going to recruit full time members and staff? What is the plan?
4. Do you plan solely using the crowdsale fund to fund the development and marketing?
or do you have plan to inject your own funds into this project?
Because the hard part in my opinions is the marketing to attract users to use this exchange,
if the crowdsale only managed to raise such as $1.5M i think it's quite hard to compete against the big boys.
Do you guys also open to pitch to investor and get series funding to expand?
(since basically you guys own 50% of the shares/revenue because half of 0.2% transaction)

We are already looking for new staff members, as well as traditional investments (which is already a part of our funding). We aren't really scared of the big boys. There are too many flaws with most of them, and we know that if we do a better job, the users will come on their own. We expect to generate revenue and profit from the first month from launch, so the marketing budget will be partially formed by that as well. I'm dumb, need some clarifications.
The wallet will enable me to buy Waves assets paying in XNT tokens.
Am I allowed to buy Waves assets using another coin?
I guess the seller wants Waves for his assets.
The software automatically converts my coin in Waves?
If so how is the exchange ratio decided?
We will have multiple trading pairs for each token/asset/mosaic. How many, will depend on what the project itself decides. XNT will be the first and most important pair, offered for free and included into every other package. |

 The many issues of Bitfinex
2017 has been a bittersweet year for many cryptocurrency exchanges. Despite registering record profits, the huge influx of new users revealed glaring weaknesses for many of them.
One exchange in particular, Bitfinex, has lost the favor of the users quite drastically. Its customer support has become extremely backlogged. Many cases of funds lost during deposits or withdrawals were registered, with hundreds of users complaining about slow or non-existent response in these cases.

The Exenium team is extending the token sale to April 15This decision comes from the fact that, in the current environment, it is becoming harder to deliver information to the end user. ICO/ITO advertising bans in social media, and the large amount of other projects running their own ICOs, have compelled us to extend the token sale duration.
Current investors and users should not worry. This extension does not change our plans. The exchange will be released in the second half of April, as planned.

Can someone explain how it works? I don't understand how Exenium decentralized exchange works.
First of all it's not a decentralized exchange. It's a centralized exchange that is created as a telegram bot. The bot takes inputs and shows you the interface, and through the Telegram servers it gets sent to our servers which then process the requests. We don't know your IP address or really any meaningful information, except for what you give us. That is the core feature of our platform, it's an approach that allows us to create a very safe and powerful exchange due to the two layers of security (Telegram servers or other messengers - Our servers that are hidden from the public view). Newbie question. How are the XNTB keep the price and how would I exchange them for XNT?

Yes our verification process is designed to be as quick as possible. At first we will have operators manually checking, but eventually with enough data and development, we will be able to introduce a machine learning algorithm which will make verification virtually instantaneous. We have a cap at 50 million. What will be final fee structure? I read that it Exenium will ask for a fee of 0.2% - what kind of fee is that? Will it be constant?
Amount of trading coins and volume of your trades won't change anything? Will there be any difference between maker-taker?
For that we have Trader Statuses, which change how the fees work. Higher tiers lower the fee and allow more of it to be paid in XNT. The statuses are generally paid for, but of course we may decide to give them for free for contests or other merits. Also, to clarify a misconception. Our exchange is centralized, in the sense that the private keys will be held by us. Our goal is to create a competitor to Bittrex/Poloniex and others, combining ease of use with a secure and powerful platform. |

The tokens do not provide dividends. They are used for payment of our commission fees, listing fees etc. as an alternative to other currencies such as BTC, USD etc.
Paying with XNT gives a 10% discount on everything, including listing (where such a discount becomes quite significant).
We are also not a decentralized exchange, in the sense that the trades are conducted via blockchain smart contracts. It's all done by our servers. It could be said that we offer a middle-ground solution, where we benefit from the performance of centralized servers, while at the same time hiding them from the public eye (and as such, hackers).
As for participating in the ICO, we do not at this time implement geographic locking. Residents of the US or China can in fact buy our tokens, but they do so at their own risk, and should be aware of the legal and tax implications of this. Our disclaimer applies to residents, so US citizens but not US residents should be ok.
We are planning to partner up with a US firm to be able to fully provide services to US residents, but this will apply to the exchange itself, not the ICO.

Do you accept Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin in your token sale as cryptocurrencies?

We have detailed subdivisions for how the tokens are distributed and how the funding will be used on our site. I think investors will come, there is a lot of people registered on the exenium platform and a lot of people enjoy the project. I think there is a big place in crypto world for a decentralized social network like exenium.
To be fair, Exenium is a centralized exchange at the of the day. The integration with the messengers does make it slightly more decentralized though. In practice this means that hackers don't have a single point of attack. To break our exchange, they would first need to break one of the messengers. |

Stability of the company is the main thing for investor. And as for me, I'm confused by the fact that Exenium remains without contingency fund which can be useful in case of force majeure situations. I think that the company should save several million dollars after the sale is over.

Registering simply means pressing the start button on our bot. You will need to have a Telegram account though. The first post features a detailed "how to buy XNT" video. I have checked the website and I didn't find anything about Europe. When are you going to implement it?
Our exchange is global, and we will also be implementing EUR fiat transfers in April, so it will definitely be quite convenient for Europeans. Am I right if I presume you will create your own blockchain for the application.

No, the token runs on the Ethereum platform. The exchange itself runs on normal servers. No token swaps are planned. Do you have any competitors? I know some similar projects, but they have a slightly different idea.
As far as we're aware, none that actually want to create an exchange as a bot for Telegram and other messengers. Also our other ideas are quite unique, like the Investment Management System which will allow the creation of indexes and mutual funds for cryptocurrencies. Exenium project is promoting community construction, and all kinds of bounty activities are in progress. Unfortunately, there are no signatures. The project roadmap has planned the development of the next 2 years, and it looks good.

No need to do reports, we will check by ourselves. The token allows you to pay future commission fees with a discount. If you're not interested in that then you could simply hold, our mechanisms ensure that as the exchange grows, the price of the token does too. It's similar to any other coin in that sense. I've just seen that the ICO is running until March 25. Very long ICO... any reasons for this?
Can it be seen somewhere how much money they raised so far?
Well the ICO is also a means of attracting future users, so it doesn't make sense for us to do a 1 hour "all or nothing" campaign. It's not the only ICO running in the month range, anyway. We can't predict the price after the ICO. The supply of XNT is a lot scarcer than many other coins (<1 million) so its price will be higher than most, if marketcap is equal. Hello, I wonder do your bot is ready to use or it's in some kind of alpha or beta stage?

It's not. XNT is only one of the alternatives, and it gives a permanent discount. You have hard cap in about $50m, but eth is volatile like crazy right now. Do you have fixed hard cap in usd or xnt?

We are not a decentralized exchange, just a special approach for a centralized one. The ICO ends on March 25 When will I get my tokens - after payment or after the end of ICO?
They will be credited after 15 confirmations on your exchange account, but to withdraw them to a wallet you will need to wait for the end of the ICO, after which we will release the contract. Does management have a view on global development of this plan as well?

Regarding the buyback thing, if you consider it a deflationary mechanism wouldn't it count as a dividend paying security perhaps? That might have legal implications for investors from some countries.
If you simply hold XNT, you will not be gaining any more of it, so it's not a dividend. Our system also isn't strictly speaking a buyback, since we don't actually give money for them, we only accept it as payment. |
