Code:
Error: recieve has been  2284
[INFO   ]stratum.icemining.ca Disconnecting
[INFO   ]stratum.icemining.ca Stopping miner

got this error couple times. Sometimes the number is different

good to stay around 75% or less. thats most efficient in my experience. keep temps 60s or below if you can. I keep my fans below 70% also.

finding the best settings is trial and error. each brand/model/card is different. have to play around with them and find the best for you and for each card. each card can do different things as not all silicon is the same. some are better than others

Would you accept ZEN?

why does miniZ sometimes popup a dialog box when it crashes? this results in the program stopping until I press a button and bat file loop restarts miniz and continues mining. this dialog box presents a productivity issue as I may not notice this box popup for some amount of time while the miner is doing 0 work. how can I disable this dialog box from appearing?

also: when there is a problem with a GPU it spams errors on all the GPUs so I cant identify which GPU actually caused the crash.

use the VGA cable to power riser & GPU.

Is it ok if I use one VGA cable to power a gpu and the riser for another gpu all on the same cable?
each riser & gpu combination should be connected to same PSU. you can use one VGA cable for the GPU and the riser connected to that GPU. or you could use one VGA cable to power multiple risers, but it would be easier just to use one VGA cable per gpu/riser combination. you probably need the splitters linked to on ebay.

if you're keeping your GPUs under 120 watts (like around 90-120 watts) you could put 2 GPUs on each VGA cable. I think those VGA cables are rated for 300 watts, running 225 watts on one VGA cable would be no problem.

I have a rig right now where I have 2 GPUs per cable and I keep each card under 110 watts. no issues

use 1 cable per riser. does not matter what type of cable you use to power the riser (molex or sata or 6pin) as long as it has 2 yellow wires. but use 1 PSU connection per riser or use the VGA cable to power riser & GPU. if you need to split the 8pin GPU, buy splitters from ebay, https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-pack-PCI-E-8-pin-to-2x-6-2-pin-Power-Splitter-Cable-PCIE-PCI-Express-5X/142553881213?epid=21005666775&hash=item2130df9a7d:g:X8YAAOSwaj9dAJKX

power supplies are most efficient at 50% DC power draw from your components. so you should make sure each set of GPUs is using 50-60% of your PSU max. thats the safest and most efficient use of the PSU

what is the URL for API? I try IP:PORT and does not work

For example -b 0.0.0.0:4029

I'm asking for the URL to type into the browser.

I would like to search the whole thread for this, but I dont see the function to do so. Is it possible to set API to 0.0.0.0 so I can access the API from different computer?

I got 14 1070s working on b250 in win10, but I suggest the MSI H310-F pro motherboard instead or the other MSI H310 board that has 20 slots, if you want to run 14 cards. better board, better bios, newer chipset.

VDS bminer has increased its speed by 30 percent. When will gminer be updated?
what is this miner?

will a 6gb  gpu have higher g/s in linux or win7 compared to win10?

I just want to log miner restarts and such. i don't need to see stats, i know what the stats are already. I basically only want to see console red text in the log. i want to know when errors occur, not normal operation.

please add an option to log only errors/crashes/rejected shares

Can you check connection to btc.com (beam coin)?
Code:
 01:09:42 Connected to cn-beam.ss.btc.com:1800
01:09:54 Connection Error: Connection reset by peer
01:09:59 Connected to cn-beam.ss.btc.com:1800

how can i add stratum+ssl connection to config file?
Code:

I’m actually still waiting for a GRIN windows wallet so I don’t lose what I have mined already since they expire after 60 days of no withdrawal. Anyone have an idea if that is something in thr works? Thank you!!

If I download that wallet file, even though pre release, will I be able to transfer my mined grin into that wallet for safe keeping? Thanks in advance.
you could have your wallet in multiple places. if you want. just use the words to recover your wallet.

I have been using this windows wallet for a few days now and it accepts tx files and http payments. if you keep your wallet on linux and windows, just use the check command in the wallet to keep it updated between the two.
