I never heard about this project and it's on Binance wow... Does it have ANN on this forum?

From what I have read they held a private ICO, not a public one.
About the ANN, don't have a clue yet. Going to have a look..

When it just came out in Binance ETH price was 0,00252280, then it fell back to 0,00005330 the day is was released on Binance, that same day it went up to about 0,00012500 or something. Current price is 0,00008632 (11:12 - 27/1)
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Moon phases , a real market predictor? on: January 27, 2018, 10:07:52 AM
Hello Guys and Girls,

Many say the moon and its different phases have an impact on earthly life (and who knows on what more).
Look at the tides of the sea, moving forth and back (just like numbers on a trading chart moving up and down) - - >  all because of the moon's impact.
Is it possible that the different moon phases have an impact on human behavior,  in particularly the trading behaviour?

I did some investigation, and I saw some amazing results..
I looked up a moon calendar 2017, this one >  https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/phases/
As you can see on the calendar there are four moon phases displayed :
-New Moon - First Quarter - Full Moon - Third Quarter.

I noted down dates from different moon phases and looked up those dates in coinmarketcap- and forexcharts to see what was happening with human trading behaviour.

To name 1 example:
The Full Moon dates compared to the historic charts show
1: a peak or valley position
2: a couple of days before the full moon 'till a couple of days after the full moon an uptrend, sometimes huge.
And more... I encourage you to have a look as well.

Same with the Bitcoin BOOM which trend was going upward, compare it with the moon phases and you'll be surprised what you'll see (at least I am)
There are lots of articles to find on the web which give trading considerations/advice on moon-trading. Of course it's not 100% guaranteed that something is happening at a specific moon phase day, but 80% it is. (as far as my investigation goes, up until this moment, now)

I encourage you to have a little investigation and compare some of the moon phase-dates and compare them with the charts info.

Tip: a monthly chart view gives you a great overview.

31st January 2018 is full moon, what are you going to do?

Me? I am going to use the mooncycles and implement them in my trades.

Praise to the moon!

Can my 0.999000000 become 1 VEN when the price goes higher than my buying price of 8,50?
If not, any other way to trade my VEN to ETH?

Thanks!
You already have tokens at the exchange. How their quantity can change from fluctuations in price if you don't buy additional tokens or sell them?  It's nonsense Smiley  Try other exchanges or try to add 0,1 VEN through an exchanger

Hi Thanks for your answer,
When you say:  Try other exchanges or try to add 0,1 VEN through an exchanger, do you mean I Binance itself?
Never heard of an Exchanger before, where can I find it? It is not showing up on google search.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / iost (iostoken) on: January 27, 2018, 09:06:28 AM
Hello Guys,

What are you thoughts, opinions on IOSTOKEN?
Do you think it will be worth investing in it?

First day it came out on Binance it fell to its lowest point, from there on later that day it doubled in prize. Now it's 2 dollarcents more than when it came out.

Thanks
25  Economy / Economics / What determines the after ICO price? on: January 26, 2018, 08:41:34 PM
Hello Guys,

Let's say a coin is 0,20 in pre-sale Ico stage. What determines if the price will be more than 0,20 when launched on exchanges?

Thx
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / ICO's & new coins. Could this millionaire plan work? on: January 26, 2018, 07:05:28 PM
Hi Guys,

Recently I met a lot of people who are making big money (compared to me) buying pre-sale coins in ICO's and selling them on Exchanges for maybe double the price or more. Some of those also invest in relatively new coins with a low marketcap as I may believe what they say.

Ian Balina promoted this and he is talking about the possibility to become a crypto-millionaire in about a year time.

I think of this strategy

1- Find out which ICO's are active, are upcoming and check if they have the pre-sale option.

2- Get pre-sale tokens, go for the ones that give you 50%, 70% or even 100% bonus.

3- Study the whitepaper and the team and determine if the concept is perfect for blockchain and see if it can be a Scam or not.

4- Look for a low hardcap. ( how to determine if the hard cap is low? )

5- Ask questions to the team and see if the ICO is popular.

6- Find out when the ICO is launched on exchanges and the names of the exchanges.

7- Register, login to that Exchange and wait for the coin to be visible.

8- Is your money more than double the ICO price? Cash out. Is your money less than double? Leave it there and see what is does. Is your money 5 times double?
Cash out. leave maybe 10% (or more) on that currency or wait until it doubles more because Exchange    members will buy the coin.

9- Spread you profits and put your money in more ICO's and repeat until you bought a lot of ICO's in a time-period of 1 year.

10- Buy New Added coins in exchanges where you believe in and ride with the popularity and repeat the previous steps.

A small calculation example where the start budget is $200 and in this example the aim is to at least double the ICO price:
Aim is to double the ICO price and cash out.

1st  ICO: buy coins for $200 cash out at $400
2nd ICO                      $400                  $800
3rd  ICO                     $800                   $1600
...repeat this and you'll have this
1: $400
2: $800
3: $1600
4: $3200
5:  $6400
6:  $12800
7:  $25600
8:  $51200
9:  $102400
10: $204800
11: $409600
12: $819200
13: $1638400 > Cryptomillionaire

Let's make it 20 ICO's for sure, you never know when an ICO price doesn't double.
If you begin with investing in 1 ICO a month and work your way to buying more ICO in future you need maybe 1,5 year to become a crypto millionaire.

Ofcourse this looks maybe too easy, and every bought ICO should have its price doubled at least.

Do you think this can work?
How would be your plan?

2 Questions
How do you consider a marketcap as low?
How likely is it for an ICO bought in pre sale to have its price doubled when on Exchanges?

I am looking forward to your ideas & replies.

Thanks to you all!
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with - and + percentage (%) on: January 26, 2018, 06:13:11 PM
You are doing it all wrong mate. You should never be trading looking at the %. You can look at it for references and analyzes but never make your trades in terms of % because it keeps on changing from time to time. For example a coin has $2 price and is a -5%. After some time the coin might be at $1.8 but the % is +2 . This does happen as the price of a coin and its % value keeps changing. How do you think the coin has -% even if it is at $100. Wouldn't it have been +% when it have raised from $50 to $100.
It might sound complicated right now but things will get simple as you make your journey towards the trading. Do read the basics and watch beginners trading videos from youtube.

Thanks,

I can imagine that it goes like that, especially on long term trading.
Do you think it will work when I day trade and check regularly?
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with - and + percentage (%) on: January 26, 2018, 06:03:55 PM
NO NO NO. A big no for it. I will just give you an example about it. This was a coin I don't exactly remember the name. This coin got listed on Binace which was its first exchange. Surprisingly the price of the first trade went in to be .0001 BTC which was around 10 times the ICO price. Just after an hour or two price came down to 0.00002 BTC. Now the very next day when you will look at 24h change it showed a downfall of around 70% because price was 0.00003 BTC lets say you bought some coins and after few hours the price went to 0.000022 BTC but the coin will show a +10% because the price before 24 hours was now 0.00002 . You will sell all coins thinking you are in profit but you have faced a terrible loss.

Thanks for you reply. I am trying to get the picture but I might be missing something here.
I just looked in the exchange and I am talking about the 24hr change of a coin.

So if I understand correctly what you are trying to say:

24h change:
+6% at 8pm, so that makes the actual price 6% higher than the price was on yesterday 8pm?

If this is what you are trying to say I have to disagree because the whole morging it stays in -%.

If not, please enlighten me.

29  Economy / Marketplace / It should be one. on: January 26, 2018, 04:38:30 PM
Hi guys,

When I look real-time in my Exchange 24hr % statistics and I compare them with CMC stastistics, there is a difference in %.
Is all %'s displayed in the Exchanges showing the value of the total Global market? Or are those numbers only displaying activity-statistic from the users in the Exchange itself?

30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with - and + percentage (%) on: January 26, 2018, 04:27:10 PM
Hey you all.
Thanks for all your input. Indeed it is the (I guess) 24 hour timeframe which moves very slow from -15 to +4. The time it needs travel this numbers takes 1/2 day.

When I take the % in comparison between Exchange and CMC there is a difference.
Difficult to trust statistics given by any party when the value differs.
Q1: Do you guys see this difference as well, is it because the % numbers in the exchanges are showing buying and selling statistics only from traders from among the Exchange-users in stead of from the Global tradingmarket?

Coming back to my original question. I am very recently onto a coin that changes everyday from morning to evening from -% to +%.
That's why I wanted to know,
Can the result of this upward change for sure have an impact on the profits going up when I buy in morning and sell in the evening?
As far as my research goes until now I have it seen only gone upward in this trend, also in profits.

I think this might be a way to make more wins than losses if you follow the downward and upward trend current. How likely is it for history to repeat its trend and what has an impact in this trend?
What do you guys think?

31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trading with - and + percentage (%) on: January 26, 2018, 12:22:35 PM
Hello,

I kwow it is profitable to buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high.
What I see in the currency exchange I am trading on are 24 hr percentages.
Sometimes the percentages show a 'minus' -, and sometimes they show a 'plus' +.

Is it a goog idea (when you think in terms of profit) to buy a coin when the percentage shows for example -5% and then sell when the percentage shows +5%?

Thanks
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Quickest/Biggest ROI's on ICO with low hardcap. What is Low? on: January 26, 2018, 10:44:41 AM
Hello,

I read several messages on the internet and I heard from several people I spoke that if you want a quick / big ROI from an ICO it is better to invest in an ICO project with a low hard cap.

What is considered as a low hardcap? Is it 10 mil, 20 mil?
---

I also heard about to look at the total supply of tokens if you want a big ROI.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thankx.

Hi to you all,

This is what happened.
I bought 1 VeChain coin for $ 8,50. I got 1 VEN for it. Price went down after I bought it. My purchased VEN also went down from 1 to 0.999000000.
This VEN coin is not the coin I want to invest in anymore. I want to trade it asap back to Ethereum but I can't.
For some reason I can trade the 0.99900000 back to Ethereum. I think the reason for this is because the minimum VEN-sell-price is 1 VEN or so.
I also can't buy 0.1 VEN, think minimum for this is also 1 or so.

In my binance Exchange I see that the VEN price is fluctuating up en down all the time. But my VEN balance stays 0.99900000.
Why is this?

I think it is strange that I can't sell 0.9 VEN coin.
Any suggestions for me? I want to trade the VEN back to Ethereum as soon as possible.

I also tried buying 0.1 VEN coin but I think minimum that I can buy is 1 VEN.

What can I do?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can't sell coin from Binance on: January 21, 2018, 06:13:26 PM
Is there so big spread beetwin bid and ask? Why just dont bought 1 and sell everything? U will loose just spread and comission.

That's an idea.

Any chances my VEN balance will go to 1 VEN when the price peaks high?  Or does my 0.99900000 VEN stay 0.99900000 if the price goes up?

In other words, is the value of my balance of 0.99900000 dependent on the actual VEN price?

THanks
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Can't sell coin from Binance on: January 21, 2018, 05:33:24 PM
Hi,

I am pretty new to the world of cryptocurrencies and I ask this question here because of the delayed response time from Binance and I can't wait that long since time = money in this game

I bought 1 VEN at the wrong time. Price went straight down from its peak (peak until now)
Now I have 0.99900000 VEN on my Balance. I want to sell it for ETH but the minimum amount that I can sell is 1 VEN.

Somehow I can't buy 0,1 VEN to make a total of 1 VEN because the minimum buy-amount is 1 VEN. I dont wan't to buy another 1 VEN because of the price that's quite high.
I bought the ven for around $ 8,50. Price is now $ 7,50

I wan't to trade my 0.999000000 VEN but I can't because the minimum amount for trading and buying is 1 VEN.

Can my 0.999000000 become 1 VEN when the price goes higher than my buying price of 8,50?
If not, any other way to trade my VEN to ETH?

Thanks!
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Retrieve Cryptocurrency added-dates. on: January 17, 2018, 03:51:55 PM
Hi,

I am figuring out how to see the history of when a cryptocurrency is listed in Exchanges.

On coinmarketcap it is very easy to figure out when a currency is listed on the coinmarketcap website itself. You can also see on which Exchange Market(s) the coin is exchangeable.
However, I like to know a way how to retrieve when a coin is added on an Exchange Market in the form of a date.

Is it possible to see it on Coinmarketcap?  Or any other website?

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks,

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does price do from ICO vs Exchanges? on: January 17, 2018, 11:24:43 AM
I'll let some more experienced traders give their input, but I really think it depends on the value of the project as a whole and the amount of hype surrounding it. I haven't invested in any ICO's but looking at coins that started through ICO's, it can go either way.

Thanks for your input. I want to look at coins that started through ICO's like you suggested. How can I do it..
Is there a way to see what a coin's price was when it was in the ICO stage?

Thanks
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What does price do from ICO vs Exchanges? on: January 17, 2018, 10:47:57 AM
Hi Bitcoin Forum members,

The cryptocurrency world is pretty new to me (as well as this Forum)
I have some (3) questions regarding to the price of a coin. I am interested in funding some ICO's.

Example:
I buy some coins in the ICO stage for $ 0,50 a piece.

Q1: When that coin is launched at Exchanges, is it more likely for the coin to be worth more than $ 0,50 or less than $ 0,50?  Does is depend on the number of sold coins in the ICO stage, or does it depend on something else?

Q2: What does the average coin do in price from ICO to Launch exchanges?

Q3: Is there any mathematical formula to use so I can calculate this myself? (I have seen many 'up to date' sell numbers on ICO websites)

After searching a while on the internet it is still not clear to me.
There is always the possible scenario that after an investment is done in an ICO, I change my mind.

I am looking forward to you replies.
Thanks!
