21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin under 1$ ? on: February 28, 2018, 06:57:17 PM
Do you think Altcoin that is less than $1 at this moment is a good buy? Altcoin such as Ripple ($0.9898), XEM ($0.9890), etc.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My picks for 2018 on: February 27, 2018, 07:38:13 PM
My picks for this week is
Nano  - NANO (XRB) Pushes Toward $15 on Increased Binance Trading

DigixDAO-So far, nothing in the top twenty stands out exactly, but further down the list, we see the DigixDAO price ramp up pretty quickly.
Neblio -  (CURRENCY:NEBL) traded 2.6% higher against the U.S. dollar during the 24-hour period.

though to this down market , the coin graph was growing, down to the line , we can pick a coin for a week of a month, No assumption can be graphed for entire 2018.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The Problem You Experience When Analyzing Altcoins? on: February 27, 2018, 07:31:13 PM
Analyzing and understanding the potential price and value of a cryptocurrency can be both tricky and frustrating. There are no quick and dirty methods of analysis that can forecast an altcoin’s price, but there some parameters that can help you understand where it might go and how to gauge if the coin is (still) a good potential investment.

Something to remember is that a lower price will not always lead to a higher Market Demand.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what altcoin is suitable for long-term storage?? on: February 27, 2018, 07:25:50 PM
Let's look at a diversified set of projects that stand out from the crowd.
According to my perception Litecoin, ripple neo snd also nano coin would be essential for long term storage.
Rest it's all yours decision.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Last thoughts on Publica? (PBL) on: February 23, 2018, 09:24:25 AM
ICOs are the future of the blockchain revolution, but it can be challenging to identify positive opportunities amongst the noise. Assessing the strengths and risks of an ICO with a ranking framework typically begins with evaluating the leadership team of the platform. In the case of Publica, the leadership team is composed of successful businesspeople that possess extensive experience in blockchain-powered projects.
Publica’s CEO Josef Marc commented, “We understand that today might not be the best day for many people to trade their Bitcoin or Ether. We’re happy we can accommodate our community needs.”

Once all of the bitcoins are mined it means supply cannot grow
BITCOIN has quickly shot from obscurity to prominence, breaking records and stunning critics with a mammoth value of $20,000, but what does the future hold for the cryptocurrency?
Once all of the bitcoins are mined it means supply cannot grow, despite growing demand.

In contrast, the cryptocurrency 'ripple' allows miners to create a maximum of 100 billion tokens.

Enthusiasts say buying bitcoin will become harder and therefore make it more valuable, but others say it will stop being decentralised.

A bitcoin mining session originally created 50 bitcoins, then it dropped to 25 and then 12.5.

Some forecast by 2020 it will fall to 6.25 bitcoins which will make mining unprofitable.

Blockchain-analysis company Chainalysis estimates 2.78 million to 3.79 million bitcoins worth $50 billion at current prices have already been lost forever.

But bitcoin enthusiasts say this will result in a rapid surge in prices to upwards of $100,000 per token.

It could be possible that these inactive bitcoins will be used to “regulate” the market like fiat money and Satoshi Nakamoto will act like a central bank
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: February 21, 2018, 08:31:24 PM
If someone can describe to trade in this amount in India as well,  pretty tough to find genuine traders. In comparison to international states alot of rules and regulations are involved. So if someone can share the knowledge which can enhance this amount to double of hundreds.
Cheers
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Price Prediction ? on: February 21, 2018, 08:08:44 PM
No crypto-savvy eye missed Ripple’s remarkable journey in 2017.
Ripple (XRP) Prices Heading For $2 In 2018 ? Is it possible

At this moment I agree with $ 2 but if happen I'll sell my XRP and replace it into another, to long for me and no worth to hold again. Year a go I believe XRP will have significant price action but not happen, meaning not reach my take profit area. But now with dip and slow market condition, I lost faith with XRP. Some people still hold or buy back but not me.
Bdndkd
To give you the hope all I can tell you is to hold back for just couple of months. Cauz at present ripple branding alot and they inculcate with some reputed company like western union, few reputed banks and places like Saudi Arabia are accepting. So keep hold of it , rest is always your choice.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NEO coin is the best altcoin in 2018 on: February 21, 2018, 05:20:46 PM
Now, let’s go back to my NEO price prediction 2018.
I’m foreseeing triple-digit gains in the NEO price in the coming year. Yes, triple! Stay with me for the reasons why.
The NEO tokens had always traded for pennies until summer of this year. It was in July that we saw a sudden surge in its price. This was when the world realized the unique utility that blockchain-backed cryptocurrencies offered.
Those who had gotten in early saw their NEO investments grow exponentially in a matter of days. Between early July and mid-August.
Imagine quintupling a modest sum into a giant jackpot!
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: February 20, 2018, 08:23:41 PM
Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

if you mine BTC or other alt coins, you may see that a very high power needed for effective mining, so I think mining with mobile will not had good result and gain

1- mining need high power energy ssystems
2- mining need graphic or cpu with high hash

i think if mobile manufactures design this mobiles phones the lyfe cycle of these devices will be very short for above reasons

You cannot mine Bitcoin using the processor on an Android phone. Nowadays all serious Bitcoin mining is performed on dedicated Bitcoin mining hardware called ASICs(application specific integrated circuits), usually in thermally-regulated data-centers with access to low-cost electricity. Think of a Bitcoin ASIC as specialized Bitcoin mining computers, Bitcoin mining machines, or “bitcoin generators”.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: February 20, 2018, 08:18:03 PM

Electroneum is the first cryptocurrency that will allow its
users to mine it with a mobile phone. This new feature will allow millions of smartphone users around the world to get started with cryptocurrency mining, an industry previously reserved for computer geeks and nerds.

The Electroneum team has described their mobile app as a Mobile Mining Experience.App has already been developed and is currently in a beta testing phase. The Android app can be downloaded from the Play Store.

Rest of the information can be found easily.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deeponion better than monero on: February 20, 2018, 07:59:44 PM
I don't think so. Monero's background and technology is better than Deeponion.
They can't provide monero's privacy.

Regarding the Monero / Onions discussion: The technical aspects of DeepOnion is not the only thing. In my opinion there are a lot more coins out there, which are technically better than monero. But Monero has the first mover advantage (like Bitcoin) regarding anonymous coins and the community is (still) bigger than our (Hope that will change :p ). Furthermore, Monero is way more famous. Those 2 Arguments are hard to break. But lets hope for the best guys Smiley

Western Union Confirms Plans to Experiment With Ripple.
However, Western Union is one of the few to experiment with XRP, which could help Ripple become an even bigger player in the crypto market.
Will this be a leader in altcoin of 2018

I just heard from you, do you have any reference to proof that the ripple is related to western union?
if this is true this might make the ripple value increase and have a more modern development compared to other crypto.

My dear it's all over in the news, not only western union but Saudi Arabia is showing a alot of trust to ripple.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western union confirms ripple on: February 18, 2018, 08:34:22 AM
I think this is a good progress for ripple, I always keep up with the latest information from ripple because I have saved some assets there, and hope the price can go back to $ 3 soon.

Yes! In theory, Ripple can get even higher than that. The important thing for it is to keep the demand at a decent level.
Ripple, Stefan Thomas, has said that in 2018 there will be a “big push on XRP.” For years, Ripple has kept a relative silence in expressing the superiority of XRP. 2018 will be different. 2018 is bound to be Ripple’s year. I expect the price to rise as high as $10 and as low as $4.

What's your perception about liepay ! As it's going to launch on Feb 26th, seems very promising. It may give very tough competition.
