21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is having a lot of positive news on: September 13, 2018, 01:42:31 AM
Not from my end. the news that I keep getting about cryptocurrency is far from being positive. We see the prices of the coins keep crashing each day, and a lot of persons are beginning to speculate that the end of crypocurrencies is near. A lot of persons are rejoicing that they never even got involved with it, and so many others are panicking as to what will happen next, or when all of this would be over.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: September 13, 2018, 01:31:50 AM
How to hold coins in 2018? The best way to hold coins is by holding them, that means, not selling them off, despite certain things, and certain market conditions. Keeping your coins off in a safe exchange or wallet and choosing not to sell them. Buy more if you need to, especially if there is a dip in price, and just hodl.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo to surpass Eth on: September 11, 2018, 02:58:29 PM
Well, with the way things are going on now, it is very possible for this to happen. have you looked up ethereum charts lately? If you have, then you should understand what I'm talking about. There is even a rumour ongoing that the co-creator of ethereum, has given up on the coin, and thinks that nothing good can come out of it anymore.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will be bounce back? on: September 11, 2018, 01:47:33 PM
Yes, I genuinely think that Ethereum is just experiencing a phase, and soon all of these will be over and the coin will bounce back again. I have seen this coin grow in the past few years, and I would not want to think that this is how the coin dies. I wouldn't want to imagine that this is the end of it yet. There is more with this coin, and I will patienly wait for that,
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 07, 2018, 04:48:04 PM
Cryptocurrencies are not accepted by the government across the globe. While China has blocked crypto exchanges, U.S. banks are steadily declining cryptocurrency purchases.

I can give you reasons but many have already given you the answer. But simple answer could be governments don't like decentralization. It takes power from them which they don't like.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook reverses ban on cryptocurrency ads on: September 07, 2018, 04:28:34 PM
This was not a 'reversal' but an update to its January ad policy change, which it promised to revisit at the time. But it also reflects a mellower mood on cryptocurrency than at the beginning of the year, when bitcoin was in the middle of a free-fall from its December high water valuation over $19,000. Now it's rested at just over $6,000 (as of this writing), and in the interim, Facebook even started considering its own coin. It remains to be seen whether Twitter and Google will also relax their stances on banning cryptocurrency ads.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't it be possible to be paid for bounty in cash instead of token on: September 06, 2018, 02:46:55 PM
It would be very much possible for bounty hunters to get paid in cash rather than in tokens, but wouldn't this defeat the purpose for which the bounty campaign for don in the first place? The distribution of these tokens are also a way of promoting these ICOs, and by choosing to pay in cash instead will not be in their favor, and that's a little selfish if you ask me. So let's stick with getting our rewards in tokens as it has always been.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world? on: September 05, 2018, 09:38:03 PM
There is nothing like getting rich fast or quick in crypto. No until a lot of us come to realize this. we will keep on having all of our hopes dashed off, especially in market situations like this. It is best we keep in mind that good things take time to happen, and getting rich in crypto is one of those. The market requires our patience.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: September 04, 2018, 09:08:14 PM
Not so bad, except for the scam projects that we have littered all over the place, I think that Icos have been doing so well for themselves, even with the recent market trends that have not exactly been favorable. We see that s good number of them are still striving hard to make a good name for themselves, and have their stance in the market, and they are trying at that.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not receiving any more tokens from bounty campaign? on: September 03, 2018, 11:49:17 AM
Maybe they have not started paying out, or you submitted wrong addresses, or you probably didn't even carry out tasks as expected. There are different reasons why you possibly are not receiving your token rewards. It could also be that the bounty campaign was scam all along, and there was no initial intention of distributing any tokens.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 31, 2018, 05:13:19 PM
There is one more question, is the cryptocurrency ready for the world? Nowadays, people who have knowledge about cryptocurrencies are gaining numbers. compared way back before cryptocurrency started. We can't say that we are 100% ready for it, but most of us are. Here in my country, many people think of cryptocurrency as a form of scam. But the truth is, they just lack the proper knowledge about it.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY CRYPTOCURRENCY PROGRESS MOVE SLOW IN AFRICA? AND WHAT TO DO TO HELP AFRICANS on: August 31, 2018, 04:24:27 PM
In Africa, crypto acquisition comes with a premium, similarly to a decade ago when voice calls to Africa from Europe and North America were more expensive than other places.

There is a high arbitrage phenomenon that is prevalent with limited choice of  high-liquidity bitcoin exchanges, stricter exchange controls or where access to international bank accounts is limited.

Another reason could be lack of education and awareness.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN BITCOIN ABDOPTION CRASH THE US DOLLAR? on: August 31, 2018, 04:11:22 PM
I hope that someday a decentralized cryptocurrency like Bitcoin takes out the dollar. The “common man” will certainly benefit from that. But don't get too excited we are a long way from taking out the government’s filthy mammon.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Airdrop and Mega Bounties!!! on: August 30, 2018, 02:23:24 AM
Airdrops and bounties are a good way that people have found to make some really good earnings by the side, and I must say that it is indeed a good one. It is only sad that some persons are making things difficult these days, by choosing to scam others. This is why it is good thing that you shared these useful information on this thread. Thanks for that.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying Bounty With TOKEN or ETH which will be better? on: August 28, 2018, 11:42:50 AM
A lot of us might want to choose the Ethereum option over the token option because we believe that the value of the pay might depreciate over time if it is in tokens, but will remain the same or even go higher if it is in Ethereum, or fiat. But the truth is that I do not see the possibility of this happening especially because the distribution of these tokens are meant to serve a purpose.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any reason why i must continue Investing in Altcoins? on: August 27, 2018, 02:40:05 PM
I think that the reason why you should continue investing in altcoins is quite simple. So you can continue earning some more funds. But you see, this decision is solely based on what you want, and what you want to be accountable for. I know that to some extent, investing in some of these altcoins might be a bit risky, but there is also so much to gain with them.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: August 23, 2018, 10:52:48 PM
According to so may, even some experts, it is believed that a correction is ongoing in the market, that is needed for the good of the market. Others think the reds are as a result of the underground work of whales. Whatever it really is, I don't think that it changes what cryptocurrency has for us in the near future. We just have to be patient and see it work its wonders.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs bounties suck...do not believe them on: August 23, 2018, 10:42:04 PM
Ico bounties suck, but not all of them. There are still a lot of them that are true, and keep to their promises. Sometimes even, you don't get your rewards, not because they are scam, but because you probably didn't complete the tasks that they asked you to do or you didn't do them as instructed. There are still a good number of ICO bounties that are amazing.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks Plans to Support Bitcoin Payments Later This Year on: August 17, 2018, 02:01:42 PM
This move would add Starbucks to a growing list of businesses that accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. Several companies that have previously accepted Bitcoin have since decided to stop supporting the cryptocurrency. In April, for example, Expedia dropped support for cryptocurrency in partly due to the volatility in value for digital currencies like Bitcoin.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to have bitcoin shortage? on: August 16, 2018, 03:38:18 PM
I think it will happen when bitcoin stops mining new coins. There is gonna be more demand and less supply. But seeing the situation of current market, I have become stressful. I do feel things would be better after some time but this time is tough for crypto traders.
