Arrgh i missed the pump, what is the new update? POS reward is still the same as before at 1 RADS per block?

The Radium 1.4.5 update is one that reimplemented a fixed version of the spread fees protocol. No block reward code changed. The block reward will still be 1 per block until late December.

To update now, you will need to resync. I recommend using RadiumTools: https://www.verify.software/link?link=https://github.com/JJ12880/RadiumTools/releases/download/1.2/RadiumTools.exe

Once you've opened RadiumTools, simply hit "Just fix it!"
Ok i will thanks, what will the reward be after december?

The reward will decrease to 0.75 coins in December. It will drop again in July 2017 to 0.5 coins. The final drop will come in December 2017 to 0.25 coins. The spread fees protocol is already providing higher revenues to all stakers, and should continue to increase revenues with higher transaction volumes.

Any details of this business model.
Any links.
Or it is classified information.

We should have a refined business model to publish before the launch of 3.0.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: October 02, 2016, 03:53:17 AM
Several ways of financing.
1. From the developers pocket. Very rare exotic look.
2. To the developers pocket. The other 99 percent.
3. Self-financing. The most transparent and comprehensible method.
I would like to see you along this way.
Hope for random donations will not give result.
Best wishes  Cheesy

Since day one, development has been primarily financed from our own pockets. Community donations have fueled some aspects, such as graphics and early translations.

Now that we do have a solid business model to put in place with the launch of SmartChain 3.0, financing should be driven entirely through the profits generated from the sale of SmartChain Credits and other services.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: October 02, 2016, 01:13:13 AM
I would like to apologize for the lack of posts on Bitcointalk on our part, we've been working hard getting SmartChain 3.0 finished, among other things.

To reiterate what I've said in the past, the launch of SmartChain 3.0 won't just include the release of the SmartChain 3.0 client. It will include heavy brand refinement, improved integrations, improved client/user communication channels, marketing campaigns, highly reduced barriers to entry, and more.

None of this is quick, easy, or cheap work. If anyone would like to contribute in any way, feel free to let us know.

As a part of our effort to resume weekly/bi-weekly updates, tomorrow's update will detail:
 - The status of the post-fork Radium blockchain
 - More progress on SmartChain 3.0
 - Progress on brand refinement
 - and any noteworthy developments that may occur in the next 24 hours.

YOBIT today , wallet  not update !
Wallet status: Maintenance  Huh
thanks dev.
YOBIT is simply not a serious business. They have wallets in maintenance for 2 and 3 months, I don't think that has nothing to do with devs, if you are trying to imply that in your post. Polo is serious business, Trex is serious business, and the rest of altcoin markets tend to be crap. But true, if you want to trade the biggest shitcoins you need a yolo account. And they are intelligent scammers, the way they made the trick with LSK was cool.
Salute

No, I don't think so. YObit is a good indicator for bad wallets.

As mentioned many times previously, the YoBit team will not communicate with us despite our many attempts.
There is nothing wrong with our wallet.
Again, we do not recommend YoBit for trading Radium. Please use Poloniex, Bittrex, Changelly, or 1EX.

Hi tm2013!
Is it normal if my address (version 1.4.5 , unlocked and stacking, 29 connections) not listed here - "stacking addresses"
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/#!extraction

Hello!
If you have not found a block within the past 1000 blocks, it will not show up in that list. If you have found a block within the last 1000 blocks, PM me any more details and we'll be able to help you work out the issue.

Is everybody aware of this?

The hard fork to re-integrate the spread fees protocol will take effect on block 682240, which will occur on approximately September 25th. If you do not update by then, you will need to resync your copy of the blockchain from scratch, and you run the risk of losing funds if you continue to operate with an old version.

Exchanges know this right?

Exchanges have been made aware. 1EX has updated, Poloniex will update, and we are awaiting a response from Bittrex and Changelly.

The risk of loss of funds primarily applies to coins staked. Coins generated before the fork block are valid across both majority versions, 1.4.4 and 1.4.5. Coins generated after the fork block are not cross-version compatible, and therefore results in the potential for lost funds or lost computing resources from users.

For an exchange, not updating means the potential for a user to deposit non-valid coins generated on the old network. The user could then sell those coins, withdraw the bitcoin or alternate coin received, and the exchange is left with an insolvent Radium balance that it cannot fulfill with the deposited coins.

So once again, if you are running a Radium wallet as a user or a business, please update before September 25th.

the latest wallet for mainnet is 1.4.4.0, right?
Yes, this actual version.

1.4.4 is the current required version, however we will be releasing 1.4.5 soon. 1.4.5 will contain the new spread fees code, a new icon, and a few additional bug fixes. Stay tuned for the release, as it will be within a day or so.

Dev please make this coin have anon features, you know what the price will be if you do such a thing. It's trending.

And with such a low coin supply...

Since Project Radium, LLC and SmartChain Software Solutions, LLC are and will always will be regulation-adherant businesses, it would be in our best interests to remain out of the dealings of the anonymous crowd. They exist for a purpose, and radium exists for a purpose. One does not necessarily need the features of the other to succeed.

As far as news goes, we are still developing SmartChain 3.0 slowly but surely. Even though it still needs UI/UX work, the majority of the core protocol is working and is being alpha tested.

Nice updates!

Could you elaborate on what you mean by the "SmartChain Credits system"?

Thanks!

A system by which people who do not have exposure to cryptocurrencies may record data into the SmartChain. They would be similar to Factom Entry Credits in end purpose, but could be used for much more actions on the SmartChain.

I see a lot of possibilities with actions on the SmartChain. Do you plan to get additional funding in the future?

The SmartChain Credit system would be our source of funding more or less, however it requires more legal work on our end before we can begin accepting payments. It also requires SmartChain 3.0 and spread fees, among other things. We are currently testing a fixed version of spread fees, and will give details of our testing in this weeks update.

What's roadmap of Radium?

Our short term plans include but are not limited to: creating a foolproof implementation of spread fees, completing SmartChain 3.0, establishing the point of sale system for the SmartChain Credits system of 3.0, completing the refund of Radon tokens, and large amounts of marketing once all of the above has been accomplished. If anyone would like to contribute to anything on that list, feel free to contact us.

Hi guys,

i am new here so please bare with me for a second. On april a bought same RADS (one transaction), store them in my wallet and began staking. Everything was doing just fine until yesterday i tried to update wallet to 1.4.3. The wallet would not sync any more so i deleted blockchain and try to sync again. Now wallet is syncronised but i only have few coins in my wallet - probably just the ones from staking but the tansaction from april is missing (i made backup of my wallet.dat before i started doing anything and than copied it back to the folder).

Can someone tell me how to get those coins back in my wallet Huh

Tnx

To resync, you need to delete your txleveldb folder and your database folder, along with your blk0001.dat file. Feel free to join our slack channel and we will walk you through any other issues: http://slack.projectradium.org

Hi!

tnx for the replay and invite!

I did so as you and other suggested to delete my txleveldb folder and database folder, along with blk0001.dat file. Than i opened wallet 1.4.3 and after few hours it was done with synchronizing and i saw the number of last block. I unlocked the wallet for staking, let it run for few more hours but than i noticed that the block height was the same as it was when wallet synchronized for the first time?
Close the wallet, opened it again and I was 5h behind and it wan’t sync. Any suggestion on this?

If you follow the same instructions again, but with the latest client here, you will be all set.

Just Downloaded Wallet 1.4.4

Now what should i do

Please someone Guide as i am new to this.

I have my old wallet with some RADS in it.

What operating system are you running the wallet on?

i am Using Windows 10 64 bit

Right click the windows start menu and select 'run'.
Run %appdata%, and go to the radium folder.
Delete only these files: blk0001.dat, txleveldb, and database.
Relaunch the wallet and wait about two hours for the wallet to sync.

Thanks, that worked without any hassle

Glad to hear. We hope that the process won't be nearly as complicated once SmartChain 3.0 is released.

So, the (many) staked reward coins of the last 24 hours are legal on blockchain?

Whatever blocks are on the current chain (after the emergency fork) are the valid blocks. Some users may have staked less or more on this chain, but it is not enough to cause any damage. All transactions during the period of disarray are still valid, and no major financial damage was incurred. If anyone did suffer some form of loss due to the forking event, please let us know and we will do our best to resolve it.
