Thanks for the Replies, Mt.Gox is out of the picture, I'm going to go with Bitstamp, thanks again!
Yea, we see complains about Mt.Gox and BTC-e every single day out here. Never heard a single negative comment about Bitstamp. Again, I thank the community for keeping me straight and to not screw up, I'm going to submit my verification information soon, seems like it takes 1-3 days to verify?

Yes,Bitstamp is a good choice-it's stable, good for trading. It's also quite fast and you don't have to wait that much when you make a transaction.
Why is mt.Gox 760 right now and Bitstamp 709? why is there a huge difference?

Hey, I want to start buying and selling some bitocoins, is Mt.Gox the way I should go?
Definitely not. Try bitstamp or localbitcoins instead. Any reason why? It's like saying "Don't use Mt.Gox because I said so". You are also more of a new guy...

It is still profitable at this stage of difficulty? Not better buy GHs on cloud?
Unless you do not inted to dig Bitcoins.
Buying GH on cloud is the worst idea offer. They cost a lot more than an ASIC , while the electricity bill you avoid isn't that big. Also at least your ASIC is yours , mining contracts are a bunch of numbers on the monitor and you might end with nothing when they decide to close the shop. At the moment cloud mining is overpriced.

It is almost 2014, new tech is coming in the spring of 2014, should I wait for the new ASIC's in 2014 or are there still some ASIC's that could turn profit?
Thanks for the feedback!

If you're interested in the technology or want to get a feel for what mining is all about, absolutely. If you're in it just to make money, not so much. The next gen miners will kill its earnings within. 3 months.
thats crazy.... Any alt coins that will turn profit?

Hey everyone, I'm planning to buy a block erupter blade for around 500. It takes up about 80 watts and needs fans, so I'm guessing on around 550. If that thing mines at around 11 GHash/s, how long will it take for the numbers to even out with today's numbers of $700-1000 per bitcoin? Also please put the calculator you were using so I could use it for further refrence.

|
Thanks for the replies guys! I think I am going to settle in for bitcoin mining with an ASICMiner Block erupter blade v2 at 10.7GHash/s. It will be using about 80 watts, for about 500-550 in how many months would it come out zero zero? I calculated 2.5 months, you?
|

|
Would the ASIC block erupter that runs 10 GHashes/s for 500 pay off when mining for bitcoin? Let's say I don't pay for the electricity bill and it runs 24/7, how long would it be for the erupter to pay for itself?
