21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 15, 2014, 09:36:07 AM
If I am not mistaken, this run will take Bitcoin all the way to 6500-7000 USD (based on how it rose last bull run from 60 to around 1200).
There might be some flashcrashes on the way but the major correction will come when the price is at the range of 6500-7000 USD.
I have been buying coins and even today I made a fiat transfer to Bitstamp so fresh cash is on the way. I still have significiant cash reserves to push the coin higher if it is necessary. Right now I do not recommend to short. The odds are that the price will go pretty high. Who am I to stop BTC running even towards 10 000 USD?

These predictions are ridiculous. Not saying it's not possible but there is no way whatsoever to predict something specific like 6500-7000.

It takes some time to achieve there.
Now fresh cash is entering to the markets - I see it within my circle. People are buying BTC like there is no end.
My recommendation right now is to close the shorts and go long. It will be rewarded within a few months generously.

I recommend to listen up to Reptilian and start making that money. Please do not troll him - he is probably richer than most of you. Not necessarily the richest but definetely on his way to be that.

WorldCoin would be excellent addition.
Roughly 260 000 000 coins will be minted, now about 18 % of that is minted already. A lot of serivces are being introduced - the community developes the coin very effectively.
The coin is stable and really fast - the transaction gets the first confirmation only within 30 seconds or less and the network is really solid and stable - there hardly is orphan blocks.
WDC has the best name of all the cryptos, the community is strong and the coin is technically the most advanced among all the cryptos.

WDC
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WorldCoin-trolls: Now it is time to close the short positions on: March 15, 2014, 09:45:14 AM
Borrow large numbers of WDC and dump the coins.  Grin

However, this is not easy way since you need really trust to the borrower so in cryptoworld shorting is not really shorting in its traditional meaning.
Shorting means in cryptoworld one sells more coins than one can afford to sell if the price skyrockets and hopes to rebuy them cheaper.

For example my case, I want to have 20 000 WDC in all the market conditions (this is just enough to make me filthy rich when the price goes to da moon).
Now if I short, I will sell the coins until I have reached my WDC sum under 20 000 WDC.

Personally I own much more than 20 000 WDC but I think 20 000 WDC is just enough for making one rich. If you own more than that - it is good for you. You probably do not need to go work anymore when the price hits 1000 USD per WDC (this is the minimum long term target for the coin since it is better than BTC and still many believe BTC goes to 10 000 USD or even 100 000 USD).

However, you need patience with WDC. When you hear trolls screaming and begging to sell all your coins to them, it is time to think with your own brain and buy as many coins as you can.

However, never buy more than you cannot afford to loose. Remember, some people can afford to loose more than some other people.  Wink
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have features that make them in any way superior to Bitcoin ? on: March 15, 2014, 09:25:26 AM
I really like Credits.  It has a very generic, simple name (something we want for mass adoption.)  It has VERY fast transactions. It's currently underrated and not many people know about it.  With the right attention it could be HUGE.  I really don't look at it as another pump/dump scrypt coin.  I want it or something like it to replace Bitcoin some day.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=496685.0

Video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h--kw2ZdIGQ

The only feature which seems better is the faster transaction speed.
While you seem optimistic,
( but you probably are just another early adopter looking to make it popular for your pump and dump to succeed)
The problem for your new coin is that bitcoin will not be displaced so easily.
Making faster transactions sounds like something that might defeat Bitcoin if they are on equal ground.
But Bitcoin is through the roof and this coin is nothing.

I am looking for innovative coins , not coins that are :-
"Super Fast"
Named after a famous person and therefore are the best logical currency
Made to be funny or named after a trend and hence should be worth millions

But,
I am now confused.
What is the drawback of having a faster coin ?
Why does Bitcoin have a 10 minute block time ?
Please answer here, so that I can use that information to further my search for a coin that is better than Bitcoin and could have replaced it if it was made a few years ago.

I definetely agree with you. The fastness only of a coin is not important, actually quite the opposite if it creates unstable network.
However if you find a coin that is fast ´+ the network is safe, you have found something that is a serious threath to Bitcoin because BTC network is safe but the transfers are slow.

Actually I am glad there is one coin that is both safe and fast. It challenges BitCoin after it has matured a little bit... The first confirmation takes 30 seconds or less and there are less than 2 % orphan blocks.
Fastness combined with secure network is something that will take the throne of bitcoin when BTC collapses completely.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WorldCoin-trolls: Now it is time to close the short positions on: March 14, 2014, 08:34:44 PM
The coin is going to be pumped to new highs.
Now it is still excellent opportunity for the trolls out there start closing the short positions and start longing WDC.

The next target for the marketcap is 100 000 000 USD.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WorldCoin|WDC|WorldCoinAlliance|WorldCoin-The global digital currency on: March 14, 2014, 07:12:19 PM
Now I am seeing great progress.
So many company currently accepts WDC - this is huge phenomenom.
I think the price will go parabolic as the critical mass realizes the opportunity WDC offers.

Giants have been buying the coin, it means only one thing: the coin will go up and once the train starts gearing engines, it will be fast.

Now is the time to start investing in WDC before it is too late (it is too late when the price goes to crazy numbers).
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTB GLD and WDC on: March 14, 2014, 03:55:28 PM
Why you use paypal?
Nobodu trusts in this type of transactions.  Roll Eyes

Better to buy WorldCoins directly from exchanges. Now the price is low (under 23 000 USD per coin).
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Creating Coins that have no Developer behind it on: March 06, 2014, 09:39:29 PM
I see the bad coins as a threath for the success of good coins.
The bad coins without any innovation are harvesting the money of investors who loves to "diversify" and then they buy all kind of crab.

The investors should focus on one or a few promising altcoins - not to shoot their bitcoin loads to everywhere.

In my opinion, the best coins are in the following order:

1) WorldCoin (1st conf. 30 seconds)
2) LiteCoin (1st conf. 2.5 minutes)
3) BitCoin (1st conf. 10 minutes)

The invest in coins and choosing the right coin or coins you should consider your willingness to take risk. If you want to play safe, then definetely go for BTC or LTC. I do not recommend for you WDC (at least being the major coin). BTC and LTC are much more matured, this is their advantage.
However, if you have excess money that you can afford to loose in the worst case scenario, then definetely the best bet is WDC. WorldCoin is a small coin but it is efficient and if I was a merchant I would prefer WDC from all the other cryptos because the network is secure (the orphan blocks are very rare) and the 1st confirmation is done only in 30 seconds.
For merchants it is important to get at least one confirmation because it reduces dramatically the risk of chargeback.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Overlook Worldcoin (Update thread) on: March 06, 2014, 09:27:25 PM
I actually bought some coins today (again).
I have been a constant buyer of this digital gem for the whole 2014 and I still keep on supporting the coin.
I suggest for you guys also to jump back to the train as the dust has calmed down.  Cool
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ★★ What Is Your Favourite Altcoin & Why? ★★ on: March 06, 2014, 09:25:19 PM
Viva WorldCoin.

Now the Alliance has been set if I am not mistaken, the coin is about to get accepted to atm.
Huge things are coming to the road of WDC.
I still have faith in WorldCoin.
Now this is the third time the coin is about to rise from crisis - this proofs me the core team/supporters are very focused and the rise and resiliency of the coin shows the world that the coin is still the best one among the cryptos.
The short/mid-term goal for WDC price is over 0.001. It is the previous ATH.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are genre coins worth mining or buying? on: February 28, 2014, 08:07:39 AM
Debating mining or buying some genre coins. But I'm not sure if it's worth it. But a lot of these coins aimed at a specific audience offer nothing new technologically. So I have to ask, why this coin and not Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Dogecoin? So do you think it's worth it to mine or buy some genre coins? Right now we're in very much of a cryptocoin explosion. But I'm not sure if many of these coins will be around 2-3 years from now.

I think not.
There is no value, all they have is the genre status.
The coin you should be buying should have technically the most advanced coin or if you want to diversify, take let us say "top 5 coins" and buy some of them all.

My personal ranking (and I act accordingly) the top coins are

1) WorldCoin
2) Bitcoin
3) Litecoin

However, I have 0 LTC, some BTC and a lot of WDC (and it is growing as long as the downtrend of the coin price is going on - I prefer buying when it is low instead of being expensive). When you sell, you should avoid the newbie mistake and sell too early. 20 % gains are something that happen on daily basis so do not sell when it jumps "only" 20 % up because the odds are it will go up like 50000 % from the current levels. If it does, you will regret selling too early. If you feel you like to take some profits, sell some but do not go all out too fast.
Especially if you have some technical or business talents, WDC community is something you should consider joining in and make some WDC buy contributing there along with holding the coin. Now not so many know about WDC (if I go downtown and ask them what is WDC hardly nobody knows - there is potential still left more than with the more mature coins).

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Overlook Worldcoin (Update thread) on: February 28, 2014, 07:58:43 AM

We attempt to make this a payment method, not only a trading tool.
If I wanted to do some day trading, I would have dumped WDC and buy some other coins. WorldCoin is not for trading, it is for investing.
My recommendations: Buy as many coins as you can afford to loose.
Deposit them to paper wallets (for example 10 WDC each etc). Then take a couple copies of each paper wallets and store them.
Perhaps one in your own personal save, the other to bank's safe deposit box and perhaps the third copy of each wallet to some other place.
Come back after 2-3 years and look how the coin is doing.
I believe you will be rich - however I do not promise this. The odds are on the side of WDC so it is very likely that it starts to climb back up and make new ATHs.
All the coins have had some hang-over period after the rise at the end of 2013 so now it is time to start adding little by little more and more coins.
WDC is excellent tool for using real life, there are a lot of merchants accepting the coin already and the number is growing. That is a good sign for the coin - it starts having some real life use.  Grin Cool
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Addressing Worldcoin Well Questions on: February 28, 2014, 07:50:47 AM
I am very proud of our community. I donated also once to the original because I felt bad for Africans (and wanted some good "karma" to WDC).

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $1,000,000 USD to invest in Alt-Coins. What are my options? on: February 28, 2014, 07:30:24 AM
Guys please be serious aboutthis. I myself do not have a good understanding with alt coins so i want to trust you guys with determining with my $1m USD goes.

WorldCoin is something you should definetely consider on adding.
WorldCoin is the most advanced crypto with the fastest confirmations with secure network.

As people find WDC's value I think it will skyrocket. It could be next BitCoin because it is remarkably better than any other coin with the technical superiority.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High inflationary coins on: February 26, 2014, 08:59:42 AM
Let me clarify myself:

BitCoin's total money supply is 21 000 000 coins (the inflation is 0 or negative if we eliminate the lost coins).

WorldCoin has around 260 000 000 coins in total money supply and it is thus similar than bitcoin.

There are however coin(s) that has not limited the money supply and then the money supply basically grows and grows.
The "current" increase towards these maximum numbers I am not considering as inflation.

For the short term, perhaps this doesn't make any difference but if you are investing in a coin for long haul (like for few years), the unlimited money supply will eventually make your purchasing power dropping drastically.
Think about USD - it has lost over 95 % of its purchasing power withing almost 100 years. It means, if you have saved money all your life and today you die at the age of 100, the 100 USD bill you put under your carpet is now worth of only 5 USD in today's terms. However, if you had put acentury ago 100 USD in store to gold bullion, you would have 5 oz of gold (correct if I am wrong) which is today worth of 6000 USD.

I do not say the coins that have unlimited money supply are necessary bad but.... It comes to the cost of savers. I am sorry but if I had to choose a coin, I chose a coin that has limited money supply. Then I have to leave aside some coins and start comparing all the other coins with other feature. To me, however, the limited money supply is the premise # 1 to even consider a coin.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Overlook Worldcoin (Update thread) on: February 26, 2014, 08:47:39 AM
Looks like WorldCoin is gaining popularity. Cool!
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of a GOOD NAME for coins on: February 26, 2014, 08:44:45 AM

NAME HAS A LOT to do with how the coin turns out.

BITCOIN is easy to remember, and it explains what it is.

NETCOIN is a coin with a good name, but never really worked.

WORLDCOIN has the best name by far, people will look back 2 yrs from now, and wonder why they didn't buy now. that name can attract Facebook to buy it. =p

DOGECOIN I think this one is a joke to start with, but it is just so-easy to relate to, so people like it, won't last forever though, just saying.

Here's a list of stupid names:

VERTCOIN yeah, prime example of everything good, but the name. I mean, WTH, pick something better.
NAMECOIN : I mean.. really? yet it is high in market cap.
Coinye: the name is so bad, it got a law suit behind it.
PROTOSHARE: You know, to an average person, that name makes NO SENSE.
QUARK: .. really? might as well call it Proton. Quark is the dumbest name ever. "Mr, you got Quark?"  "my cock what?"

I agree, WorldCoin has the best name so far. In order to succeed in real life, it is crucial that the coin has a good name.
WorldCoin sounds global and actually it is quite good name - it brings the east to west together within 30 seconds only with secure network (no orphan blocks excessively).
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: February 26, 2014, 08:37:08 AM
WorldCoin.
Bought some more today.  Grin

I have to admit, the trolls out there have made the price delicious low.  Shocked
