Anyone who wants updates on the conference in Russia - you will probably get more information from the LISK thread where Max is posting regularly rather than from the WAVES team who don't seem interested in improving their crappy communication skills.
Anyone with an ounce of media savvy or common sense would be making the most of this PR opportunity with lots of updates, photos and the like. Not the WAVES team. I hope they come to their senses.
May be if we are lucky we can hope that Sasha has another "chat" with Uncle Tai Zen eventually - seems he is the only "investor" that deserves any communication.
Yeah LISK seriously has raised the bar on how to run a proper ICO and post-launch. Max has done a stellar job. I don't hold any LISK any more (sold at 3x ICO on launch day), but seriously respect what he has done, regardless of whether he just re-marketed Crypti or not - he's made a great effort. The sad thing is, so many people were bashing LISK as they invested in Waves. Sasha was saying how he's going to prevent the problems with the LISK launch by changing the way Waves are distributed at launch. Not making it automatic. How ass-backwards is that? To prevent DDOS, he's going back to 1995 and doing things manually on a 29,634 BTC funded project. It's like saying because XYZ company failed at handling email, we'll revert to paper mail and responding to messages by handwriting. Real smart. But it is sneaky, in that this method of manual distribution slows down investors from dumping while insiders dump. LISK never went below ICO price and is still roughly 4x depending on when you got into the ICO. It went up to 8x for some. The DDOS on LISK never lost money for anyone, and it was very short-lived. And yet, Sasha was telling Uncle Tai how he would prevent all the problems with LISK's launch. Looking back, I was fooled. But in retrospect, LISK is operated way more professionally, and as an investor, I don't care if the tech in Waves is better or not (it's non-existent at this point)... as an investor you want ROI or at least not lose 50% ... you want to be comforted when you lose money, and Waves is doing none of that PR comforting. And I am upset that Sasha criticized LISK so much early on, yet fared considerably worse, and seems to not only not care, but enjoys trolling investors and blaming them for having weak hands. Pretty disgusting to say the least. Ethereum got down from about 800.000 sats (august 15) to prices below 200.000 sats (october 15) when trading started.
the price started to grow above the 200.000 sat in january 16.
so a little patience is advisable.
Ethereum never went below ICO/IPO prices. Waves investors are in negative equity right now.Ethereum was sold at a fixed price and not in the same greedy manner waves was distributed in order to maximise the money grab while diluting the holding of balances. Waves investors are not rewarded for funding this project instead they are shit on while those who did not invest and fund the project can now buy at almost half the price. You probably forgot to take into account the salary for employees, rent and maintenance servers for full nodes, rent, salaries for additional staff, meetings and some dev travel. Furthermore 1k BTC spent on the wall, 1k BTC transferred in Fiat, the rest of the reserve for exchanges. Moreover, only a small part of the money was spent.
Did they pay 5-10 years in advance at all ?Q?Q? Seeing what has been done, and want need to be done yet, I thought Waves Team wasn't that big... C'mon Mate. Just stop it... it can only get worse if you keep going. Silence sometimes is gold. |

And CoreMedia is a Waves PARTNER !!!!!!  Another 60% of the remaining is what is classifiable as FREE advertise !!!! Well, I was confident it could be a reliable project, at least at the beginning. I've never seen an ICO failing like the Waves one. So, how could I know that in advance? Also, keep in mind that the strange behaviours from Devs started only after the lunch.That's should be a proof that what I say is not FUD. It's only disappointment for what the Waves Project turned out to be. And I think this is a common opinion here in the thread. If you read my old post you will find that I was worried for the amount of BTCs earned during ICO. But I tried to be confident anyway. Now I simply cannot trust it anymore. But that's just me. Wow, Waves is going well today too... Today we are at .00022 BTC  I thought we were scraping the bottom few days ago, but I was wrong. I can't see an end for this nightmare. Waves has been my biggest mistake in crypto so far. Well, the 2nd biggest mistake to be fair. My no.1 biggest mistake so far has been selling 2 millions XEM to feed WAVES ICO... That's been a really bad move at the time. I can't believe I did so. But I hate NEM team Behaviours way more then Waves's ones Those Guys at NEM Dev Team are really really dodgy. Nothing compared to Sasha's accusations. So not a big remorse at the end. Only empty pockets. |
