21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 04, 2018, 05:18:58 AM
The legality of bitcoin depends on the country, some countries are very open minded and welcome change in payment system recognizing bitcoin as legit digital currency while other countries banned it and declared it illegal. They have their own reason why they banned it perhaps they didn't believe in it and it just another scam.

If the banks don't want to be shut down then they don't have a choice but to accept and adapt bitcoin or they will develop their own cryptos and blockchain. Banks cannot stop the growing number of bitcoin holders in the world and soon most people will use cryptos than fiat money that banks hold.

Bitcoin and blockchain technology is created to give people a foolproof, guaranteed records of human transactions, entirely without reliance of a banks. It means that when all the people used bitcoin, then the banks won't be needed anymore.

For me, I won't call the investors cowards because in the first place they won't invest in bitcoins knowing that it is very risky. We can't accurately predict the future of bitcoin but many people still believe that it is the future of money.
