I think the points you bring out are not only for beginners, but also for someone who has experience with ICOs. You shouldn't put everything into an ICO. Especially during the market situation like now.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 14, 2018, 10:32:16 AM
I think the low price of bitcoin is something that we should take advantage of. We have seen BTC price going down a lot before and it has come up again every time. So why not buy now, have some tougher times maybe, but in a year or two you will thank yourself for being SMART!

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion: Crypto backed by gold, what else? on: December 04, 2018, 09:47:24 AM
They are talking about cryptocurrency backed by gold here - http://cryptoandblockchaintalk.com/cryptocurrency-backed-by-gold-26
Will it work? What else could be used to back crypto and why would it work in your opinion?

This seems ridiculous, there are many blockchain ideas and innovations involved with real products. and this makes no sense to me. however gold has a big difference with cryptocurrency, especially in form and physical

Indeed crypto and gold are different. That's why some like the idea of backing crypto with gold.. an old asset that has trust and a new one, trying to build that trust. So, it makes sense that people want to use gold to get people to trust their coin/project.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so? on: December 04, 2018, 09:34:47 AM
Maybe one of the reasons is most bounty hunters are dumping their bounties once rewards are distributed. Also, it could be that pre-ico investors, who got good discount during the pre-ico stage wants to earn fast money once altcoin hits the exchange. There are actually a lot of factors that affects the price of an altcoin after their ICO.
I disagree for your first reason, you mentioned that most gift hunters throw away their gifts once the rewards are distributed at a cheap price, while the allocation of tokens they get is very small does it make sense if they can make market prices a dump?

Not sure. But the fact is that they are dumping and the price goes down. So, the logical assumption would be that the price is going down because of them.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: December 04, 2018, 09:32:35 AM
the real investors and traders are not usually affected by this simple seemingly FUD. Everytime is always a right time to buy or sell spending on your decision.  So that some people are selling shouldn't be a FUD.  I first knew bitcoin when it was 600$/1btc and since then people have been investing. There is no FUD for this cases.  People will always sell and buy.

Yes, but Bitcoin price fell again under $4k. People are getting scared and FUD just takes over.

Been listening to it over the weekend and these songs really have a Christmas feeling to them. It makes you feel how the Christmas time is nearing. Love it! If you like Christmas and Christmas songs then listen this one for sure.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: November 30, 2018, 08:47:55 AM
None of these FUDs will make me panic. As far as I can see, the people who are involved in this kind of sale are nothing but weak hands. They can sell all their holdings in bitcoin if they like. It will rather give strong people the opportunity to get in a very cheap price.

That's true, but unfortunately, there are lots of these "weak hands" out there who FUD sell and keep dragging the price down.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Radio stations, how many are out there? on: November 29, 2018, 03:35:05 PM
There are lots of podcasts about blockchain and crypto and Bitcoin. But, how many radio stations are there for crypto listeners?

I know of only one - https://www.crypto24radio.com/
But, would really love to give a try to others as well.
Give me some suggestions, thanks!  Smiley
I want to know the advantages and benefits that I get when listening to the radio station. is that really useful for crypto lovers. I will try to analyze in advance before being interested in it.

News, podcasts with different and interesting topics about crypto and blockchain, music, other content. I mean, it can't get any better than that for a crypto lover. If you are a crypto lover, you would have already clicked and listened.
i think taht it is a good idea as we can listej to soem while driving or being in public transport shen we can not read

Exactly, that's my point as well.

I would love to see more women in crypto.
