21  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking to Trade Gamma BitCoin Fund % for ASICMINER Shares & BTC on: April 12, 2013, 06:11:06 AM
Why not start a GBF passthough on Bitfunder?  You could sell shares and get some of your coins back sooner.

I'll take a look into it; thank you for your advice. I'm actually not that familiar with Bitfunder, besides the ASICMiner passthroughs, so I'll be doing some research Smiley

23  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Gox resumes trading. What will you do? on: April 11, 2013, 10:37:59 PM
I'm kind of hoping that people panic sell and the price crashes below $50 myself.
24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where Can I buy & Transfer BTC instantly? on: April 11, 2013, 10:36:07 PM
VirWox is requiring me to link an avatar...

It does do that; however, once you do that it is instant. If you don't have a preexisting avatar, though, I'm not sure how they'll deal with Linden Lab's trust api.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of one bitcoin in one week. on: April 11, 2013, 10:27:27 PM
Between 70-150.
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting funds into mtGox quickly - newbie question on: April 11, 2013, 10:25:40 PM
You could get SLL through VirWox, buy some BTC, and transfer those to MTGOX, and then hope that you sell your BTC at the current market to buy at whatever price you want.

For the people who want to liquidate your position in the fund.
I am currently working on selling AM as quickly as I can while not crashing the market.
If you want out right this second I suggest doing a private deal with someone and transfering the ownership of the fund assets to that person.
Aka selling your spot in the fund to someone else.
I would be happy to support this and help you with changing payout address etc.
//DeaDTerra

DeadTerra, can you please explain how we can go about doing this?

As I understand it, all you need to do is find a buyer and contact D, asking to transfer your % of the fund to that person.

VirWox does.
32  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking to Trade Gamma BitCoin Fund % for ASICMINER Shares & BTC on: April 08, 2013, 07:21:15 PM
Just a quick update, after some consideration I've lowered the lowest I'll consider to 320BTC. I believe that is a greater initiative to go this route Smiley
33  Economy / Securities / Re: [Investment fund] Gamma Bitcoin Fund [Closing] on: April 08, 2013, 03:55:50 PM
There's 4,130 shares currently held by Gamma.

If there's a better way to calculate how many ASICMiner you own, please advise.

I came up with this formula:

Thanks, I forgot that we sold a portion Smiley
34  Economy / Securities / Looking to Trade Gamma BitCoin Fund % for ASICMINER Shares & BTC on: April 08, 2013, 03:47:11 PM
Please be aware that I am currently looking to sell my portion of the Gamma BitCoin Fund. My current ownership percentage is 6.489 % of the fund (or 468.159 BTC of the portfolio value when the fund shut down. My total "in" for that percentage was 650BTC.) I am currently looking for offers to buyout my portion of the fund with BTC, ASICMINER shares, or a combination of both. I do have an idea of the valuation that I would like to receive, and I believe that it is both fair for myself and the purchaser. Currently the Gamma Bitcoin Fund has a large portion of ASICMINER shares (4,130), a portion of GIGAMINER shares (968), and a number of other shares . With its current holdings, it seems that the fund may actually pay back 100% of what is owed, and even above that. (Depending on the length the ASICMiner shares are held onto, what price they are sold at, etc. As well as the other shares.)

As a note I am not looking for offers below 300BTC. For calculation purposes, please value ASICMINER shares at .73BTC each.

If you are interested, please send me a PM with your offer. The highest offer will be accepted. My ownership of that percentage can be confirmed by DeaDTerra.

37  Economy / Services / Re: I need a lawyer in Bellevue, WA (or USA) on: March 27, 2013, 04:09:30 PM
Ok, sorry again. I can give more details: I bought F1 2010 and when I played this for the first time I created a username in Microsoft Live and put a CD key provided by steam. After that, now, I want to play again but I lost my previous username/pass of MS Live CD. When I try to play, Microsoft says my CD key was used before. So I asked a new CD key to steam but they refuse to give me. I want to sue them because of my lost time, my headache and so on. Really, no one serious in this forum?

How is it their issue that you lost your previous username and password that you associated the key with? MS Live CD is a microsoft product, not a Valve one. You're better of contacting the game developer who decided to integrate their game with MS in the first place.

No one is going to accept your case for lost time and a headache, because you don't have a case with the current info you've given.

40  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: When we hit 21million and all the miners leave, who will confirm transactions? on: March 10, 2013, 06:02:40 AM
I believe the miners still get bitcoins from the transaction fees, even if they're not minting anymore.

This is correct.
