Great script and it's working really well. Thanks for providing it, I only have to manually update cron job to keep sentinel running. Thank you Someone mentioned that to me, are you using Ubuntu 20.04, i think that could be the problem, my script is tested on 16.04, 18.04 and i didn't had any problems with cronjob. This is part in code where it does Sentinel setup, maybe there is something different for ubuntu 20.04. echo "* * * * * cd /home/sibcoin/sentinel && ./venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py >/dev/null 2>&1" | sudo tee /etc/cron.d/sibcoin_sentinel sudo chmod 644 /etc/cron.d/sibcoin_sentinel Did you try "sudo crontab -e" and then enter * * * * * cd /home/sibcoin/sentinel && ./venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py >/dev/null 2>&1 I'm on 18.04 and I did this part to get that going: "sudo crontab -e" and added that line ^ to it. The nodes have been working flawlessly since. Thanks again.

TRON and PAC Global are pleased to announce a partnership to revolutionize the future of decentralized storage.
PAC Global, with their massive masternode network, will support BTFS into the future. Together we will bridge the gap between IPFS and BTFS for a better tomorrow.
Great progress and nice partnership! On the side note, is there a current bootstrap download? I have another 10 hours for the wallet to sync unless a bootstrap is available. Thanks, There is a bootstrap. Go to discord or telegram ...if you have issues syncing you can make use of the bootstrap (data behind the link updates every 3 hours): https://utils.pacglobal.io/Bootstrap.tar.gzThanks for the link, it was done by the time I saw this message. It's actually pretty fast for a chain with over 500k blocks.

I think https://twitter.com/noblecoin should do and thank you. Thank you so much for the quick addition crackfoo, I'm glad seeing some blocks generating on there. Is there a chance that you Tweet about the addition too? sure, whats your current twitter for noble?

M7M same as Magi, it will be nice if we can get on F2Pool.com Which mining algo do we now have in the new wallet for PoW? I will write some pool owners, if they could add NOBL for mining.

I'm glad I didn't swap and still holding to all my TiPS, they are my good old memory of those mining days. Thanks PsychoDad. Good to see you are still involved. I took off because I didn't like where the whole TIPS to FED swap was going. The last thing I remember is, they (FED Team), where supposed to provide a burn address, then nothing from them. WB cryptoid! I have asked about the proof of burn several times, last time here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5137508.msg54330144#msg54330144

I can confirm that renewing the old transactions worked and the reward is the same as before. If you have old inputs, please send them back to renew them to get stake rewards. Something happened around April that caused them not to stake and broke the chain.
|
|
|
Did anyone receive a stake reward? My weight is only 4 and will take about a week for the first reward. Were there changes made to the stake frequency?
Hey Brian Can you give some more information? What transaction amounts are we talking about? What is the age of thos transactions (see coin control)? To this date no changes have been made to the weight calculation. We still use the old Magi-coin weight formula. We indeed had a problem with this that the wallet weight can go to nearly 0. This is also the main reason we switched to hybrid, because the chain stoppen when all stakes had nearly 0 weight. So please check the age of your transaction. If older than 30 days, please renew those transactions (send to yourself). Thanks Cinqo- I sent some back to myself, all of them had 25k+ confirmations back in April this year. Let's see what happens when they mature.

Thank you Cinqo- I'm up and running now, it only needed 46 blocks with your snapshot. Brian Here a copy of the current block files v2.1.1.0: https://gofile.io/d/9uiy50Lemon, yes for the new version the local block database has to be recreated. either by resync, bootstrap or straight copy, see link above..

Thanks for the updated wallet. Is there a snapshot for the updated blockchain? Syncing from bootstrap still needs most of all the blocks re-downloaded. I'm up to 4.12% after the import and 1565393 blocks to go. New Wallet Update: V2.1.1.0 Window client: https://github.com/TeamNOBL/noblecoin/releases/download/2.1.1.0/NobleCoin-Qt-v2.1.1.0.rarGithub: https://github.com/TeamNOBL/noblecoin/tree/2.1.1.0This is a NOT mandatory upgrade from v2.1.0.0. Content: Switch from Berkeley database to google LevelDB (1 file version) Integrated fast start-up Client update to work with boost 1.66 Version 2.1.1.0 is fully compatible with v2.1.0.0. Update is not necesssary. Because of switch to levelDB and fast-startup, the local database needs to recreated, either from bootstrap or ReSync. Preferred Update Method: (BACKUP wallet.dat BEFORE PROCEEDING !!!) Go to wallet folder of v2.1.0.0 (or older v2.0.4.x) and remove all files except wallet.dat and Blk001.dat. Rename Blk001.dat to bootstrap.dat. Copy Wallet client v2.1.1.0 in this folder. Client will start-up and import blocks from local bootstrap. This can take up to 24 hours to complete. Client will rename bootstrap file automatically when finished and continu working normally.

Seems like the chain stopped due to the lack of stakes, you can unlock your wallet(s) to help moving it.

Hey Andrew. Welcome back Can't help you with converting wallet POW to POS, never done that myself. But to check your wallet go to the chain explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/Your wallet will show up here, with the current balance. Thanks! Neither of my wallet addresses show up there, I have a new wallet address though after doing that savagewallet thing not sure if that's supposed to happen either. Hmm Andrew, was this a lot of NOBL? What was your old wallet? Ah I see what I did, apparently I moved it to mintpal in 2014, I guess I must have liquidated it. Wow - MintPal, Moolah oh my. Good times my friend.
