Thanks for the updated wallet. Is there a snapshot for the updated blockchain? Syncing from bootstrap still needs most of all the blocks re-downloaded. I'm up to 4.12% after the import and 1565393 blocks to go. New Wallet Update: V2.1.1.0 Window client: https://github.com/TeamNOBL/noblecoin/releases/download/2.1.1.0/NobleCoin-Qt-v2.1.1.0.rarGithub: https://github.com/TeamNOBL/noblecoin/tree/2.1.1.0This is a NOT mandatory upgrade from v2.1.0.0. Content: Switch from Berkeley database to google LevelDB (1 file version) Integrated fast start-up Client update to work with boost 1.66 Version 2.1.1.0 is fully compatible with v2.1.0.0. Update is not necesssary. Because of switch to levelDB and fast-startup, the local database needs to recreated, either from bootstrap or ReSync. Preferred Update Method: (BACKUP wallet.dat BEFORE PROCEEDING !!!) Go to wallet folder of v2.1.0.0 (or older v2.0.4.x) and remove all files except wallet.dat and Blk001.dat. Rename Blk001.dat to bootstrap.dat. Copy Wallet client v2.1.1.0 in this folder. Client will start-up and import blocks from local bootstrap. This can take up to 24 hours to complete. Client will rename bootstrap file automatically when finished and continu working normally. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Where does the new version of the wallet store the blockchain? I updated the wallet and now it is starting to sync from 0.

Did anyone receive a stake reward? My weight is only 4 and will take about a week for the first reward. Were there changes made to the stake frequency?

Hey Brian Can you give some more information? What transaction amounts are we talking about? What is the age of thos transactions (see coin control)? To this date no changes have been made to the weight calculation. We still use the old Magi-coin weight formula. We indeed had a problem with this that the wallet weight can go to nearly 0. This is also the main reason we switched to hybrid, because the chain stoppen when all stakes had nearly 0 weight. So please check the age of your transaction. If older than 30 days, please renew those transactions (send to yourself). |

I can confirm that renewing the old transactions worked and the reward is the same as before. If you have old inputs, please send them back to renew them to get stake rewards. Something happened around April that caused them not to stake and broke the chain.

Watch out which version you use. 2.1.0.0 and 2.1.1.0 have different database files. Same bootstrap ofcourse. |
