Ok, so I'm going through the process of of filling out this paperwork. Can someone walk it through to make sure we're all writing the correct information? 1. Name of creditor = MOOPAY LIMITED (Company Number 08920347) 2. Address of creditor for correspondence. = 1st Floor, 2 Woodberry Grove, Finchley, London N120DR 3. Total amount = 1.60817516 BTC 4. Details of any documents by reference to which the debt can be substantiated = Still have access to the site showing balance. Screen snapshot? What else could I add to this field? 5. If amount in 3 above includes outstanding uncapitalised interest please state amount. = N/A 6. Particulars of how and when debt incurred (If you need more space append a continuation sheet to this form). What should I add in this field? 7. Particulars of any security held, the value of the security, and the date it was given. = N/A? 8. Particulars of any reservation of title claimed in respect of goods supplied to which the claim relates. = N/A? |

Unfortunately it's a catch 22, to use exchanges, you have to put coins into them... but then they are at risk. The problem here is not that we put coins on an exchange, its that some people take those exchanges as wallets. They let their coins on the exchange waiting to maybe trade them. Those coins shouldn't be left online. The coins you trade are at risk but if you don't want to take this risk, don't trade. This is just idiotic. How about we admit that this shouldn't happen and the blame shouldn't be put on the victims but the assholes who steal from hard working individuals? |

I am. I don't plan on going away anytime soon and I had 1.60ish BTC taken from me. I'm sure the guys who have more taken from them feel the same way. |

Can someone point me in the right direction to file a complaint when based out of the US?
If you are in the US contact your local FBI office. Also file with your local police department. you can also file at www.ic3.gov (FBI internet crimes division) and even if you are in the US, Like I am, you can file at Action fraud in the UK like I did. It takes like an hour to fill everything out. FBI can contact interpol to grab them where they are. - I have two other agencies to contact I will keep everyone informed - Goal is to get charges that leads to lifetime prison sentences and not white collar bullshit. Since this is international it should be easy out of the US plus they too consumer funds and that is much worse than spending money from some partnership agreement. Andre Appreciate the help and I will be more than happy to take one hour out of my life to fill the necessary paperwork to get this done. |

I've been out of the loop for a long time and realized I had some BTC in my Mintpal account. Luckily, I have a balance and issued a withdrawal, which shows that it's been requested under status.
Any idea on what else I should do? It's been about 24 hours since I've made the request.
24 hours, lol. I made my request eight days ago, only few minutes after the platform was live for withdrawal requests. My status is still; "Withdrawal Status: Requested" The platform will closes down @ oktober 31, a week from now. After that, it's goodbye Kansas! What do you mean goodbye Kansas? They're just going to take millions of dollars and people are just going to say oh well? Mintpal was one of the better exchanges out there. What the hell happened? You really should read through this thread man. Moolah happened. Yeah, I'm just confused by the whole process. I try to log into my account to withdraw my BTC and can't. It seems like a lot of people are in the same boat. Just frustrated and amazed that this shit continues to happen. Mintpal seemed legit to me. |

Your going to see sub 0.01 prices. I told you all this would happen weeks ago but you all said I was stating FUD. Go look at my previous posts from a month ago if you want to know what's actually happening to the market.
Expect strong resistance @ 0.01, but expect it to drop through shortly after. Play the swings here and rebuy back @ 0.008, I'm fairly confident this is the floor.
If anyone here even tries to say this is FUD and not sound investment advice ill digitally slap you across this forum.
Hopefully you'll all be able to make some money from this fall, there will be a recovery once the bottom has formed. Don't expect it to be sharp though.

See, I have no problem with this post. I've bolded the reason above. I didn't like your posts around a month ago because you were "150% certain" something was going to happen and just generally came across very confrontational. The post from today doesn't have that, and indeed, seems quite polite (to me). Others might not see this the same way.  Apologies it came out that way. I was 150% sure of the impending dive. Bubbles arn't sustainable. This is probably the most black and white theory in economics. I am not so sure of the bottom. Once it breaks through 0.01 any stabilisation below 0.009 for an extended period should be seen as the bottom, 0.008 seems the most likely as DRK still has competitive advantage given its already established position. Good luck. I agree, but technically, he was wrong a month ago.... But, I'll pretend to be him for a second and say we're going up to .015... Might take a week, might take a year. I'll return when it does, and will ignore any sort of swing, in either direction, in the meantime.  I honestly couldn't care less whether his analysis was correct, rather just the tone it was presented with. I don't mind his tone today. I'm fully (can we be fully???) aware of confirmation bias, et al. Now what you say but how you say it? Sure. Especially when it comes to money. Confirmation bias is the downfall of all men. I'll return when it does, and will ignore any sort of swing, in either direction, in the meantime. All because you had some stabilised time during a crash doesn't mean you wern't in a crash. The RC3 deadline caused speculators to inflate the price after this crash, this is all they did. It's now back on its previous trajectory. And yes. Buying now is also a sound investment decision. It will test 0.015 again at some point. It just misses out of optimum profit potential. Fair enough, and I don't disagree with anything that you've said. If anything, your second point agrees with my initial in that you missed out on optimum profit potential during the climb back up to .02 when you were saying .01. |
