PoW2 gonna make Gulden more secure then bitcoin even at these prices and safe 0 confirm transactions.
SegSig more then twice as good as SegWit. This is the future right in this coin.
Remember the masses always get it wrong at the start by investing in marketing and not projects with real development. This has happened throughout history.

Not much will happen, even devs said not to expect price increase cause of POW2 Last week I have resided myself to the fact that this coins price will never increase again and that is fine by me. I initially got into crypto because of what the technology had to offer and how future developers will be able to push things further into the future and my mind is back in the right place. There is more to life then investing in get rich quick schemes. I am a fan of MaNIs work and I will use my coins when i am able too and as insane as this sounds I am planning to buy more Gulden. PoW2 is not live So the price will rise when pow2 is implemented? strange thing now is that most alt coins are rising and the gulden not. is everybody waiting for the update? We attempted a pump at the start of November but we were dumped on fast, wanted to see how the market reacted but it looked like a few community members wanted to liquidate quickly and scared most of the group off. A day later Timburtons proved it was traders on slack that were proud as fuck to be making 5% profit. Not saying a pump isn't possible but you will need a 1000 btc to kill off the peasants holding the coin back and make sure they never get back in again. Pure non-sense...first this pump was maybe the most ridiculous pump ever. If you need 1000BTC to kill off the peasants well I guess they are not peasant... Some groups might be trying to held down Gulden, either they do not want Gulden to succeed or they are accumulating... Nevertheless, it will be difficult to hold Gulden price down when release hits... Is LTEX still holding Gulden or did he sell all of it? I think he is still holding some...but can not confirm |

I hear what you say and why you feel that way. My opinion is the complete contrary. When I have had to deal with him on a personal level he has always been completely upfront, helpful and honest. If you still hold Gulden then my advice would be to get active and do some marketing. For your own gain regardless of your misgivings about certain people. You'll feel better for it I'm sure. I'll grant that a man can behave differently in different settings. My point is simple. Whether you like it or not, one giant factor in the success or failure of Gulden, is Rijk the man himself. Why? He has made it mostly about himself. You said it! He is taking a lot of responsability and decisions. Without nobody taking any responsabilities or decisions most project fail. He will be the one that people blame or worship. That is it! I think he will succeed. Rijk is not closed at all to his community. But he has his filter system. I can not blame him, with all the BS out there! He his a decision maker and he sticks to his opinions! It is as it is! |

I am going to sell my Gulden at 1100 sat on bittrex later today if anyone wants to buy it up. After messaging a few people who used to be on the Gulden slack I am starting to believe that Gulden is nothing more then a prototype testing machine for bitcoin and litecoin. It explains a lot. 1. No advertising. 2. The founder doesn't care about price. 3. Bitcoin cancelled their Segwitx2 fork, they will use the SegSig code. 4. Had SegSig and PoW2 been developed by any other coin this would be all over the crypto sites like cointelegraph, coinbase etc 5. Founder refuses to market Gulden because he has enough money and probably compromised by bitcoin/litecoin investors. Make a deal not to market Gulden and they buy up the majority of the Gulden shares so MaNI as his team becomes a unofficial dev house for bitcoin. 6. Everyone wins except for the Gulden community because as mentioned above the founder Rijk doesn't care if the price goes to 1 sat. 7. On the shares site they have removed the largest contributors and how much shares have been sold. I wouldn't care if the coin went to 1 sat, I would still hold if they made the damn effort to advertise the work they doing. Clearly there is some hidden agenda at play. I think this is a little far fetched... Gulden PoW2 can not market itself before the release. Now public testing has started. Just wait for public release and the product will start marketing itself. I really do not think that Gulden is working for Litecoin or Bitcoin How long would it take for Litecoin or Bitcoin to implement Segsig? This would be a huge update and would take time. And, then that would create huge advertising for Gulden where Segsig would be running already! I think a lot of FUD is being created from people who are scared for their investement and people who want cheap Guldens! |

Can you confirm that dead. In my phone still all in order  I did not realize Gulden had a middle class investor? I thought majority of the community was on welfare or looking to make 1-3% profit and sell. Maybe there is hope after all. That same BTC would have bought you 256,426 NLG (@389 sat) on that same date,
Which at current rate of 1,000 sat would give you back 2.57 BTC. A profit of 257%
Answer?: NO, if you kept your BTC you would have 7 x as much profit!
Ha haa You can't calculate, You shows that Gulden is 2,57 times more worth than that single bitcoin you started with  So the Gulden profit in that period is about 4700% On june 2 2016 the Guldenprice was €0,0017 And Now it is €0,08. So a factor 47 higher Yeah...lol I did even notice it at first! So, you see @Richpissman you had the answer right in front of your eyes! But you misread it! Honestly, a lot should look at themselves in the mirror before talking shit about Rijk.
Decisions have to be made and he never put a gun to the faces of anybody. He has is plan and he has his rules. If you want to build a long term project, you can not satisfy short term crypto investors who only want to make x10.
And, do not forget a lot who are trash talking here have got Guldens, so do not be fooled. They know if PoW2 is released and everything goes well Gulden will be massive.
When you invest in new technologies, there is always a risk involved. So honestly 85% of the discussions on this thread are bullshit from unsatisfied crypto investors or people wanting cheap Guldens.
PoW2 will be released in the next 5 days...you will see!

Guldens ranking goes down when btc goes up and today it goes down when btc goes down. I believe the coin has hit it's peak for the next few months. Won't post again until next year as this coin is a dead fish.
