I found the video most helpful. The Counterparty wallet provides a Bitcoin address. You enter username_FLDC_1BitcoinAddress into the f@h client. The text file of all folders is downloaded by the FoldingCoin team and parsed to find FLDC or ALL or SCOT plus the Bitcoin address. I still don't understand how folders are paid in FLDC as they provide a Bitcoin address not a FLDC address. In my case, I created a wallet with https://counterwallet.coindaddy.io/#, which gave me a Bitcoin address. Was I supposed to do something else? they are paid in FLDC by using a Bitcoin wallet, because the Counterparty layer is on top of the Bitcoin blockchain so all Counterparty assets are distributed to bitcoin addresses don't forget to use stanford's pass key in your client config https://folding.stanford.edu/home/faq/faq-passkey/after 10 Work Units you will start getting bonuses of stanford's folding points for every completed Work Unit

You're talking about gridcoin in the curecoin thread?
why not ? gridcoin is also about useful POW

You're talking about gridcoin in the curecoin thread?
Well, gridcoin is also a philanthropic cryptocurrency, with a protein folding project that claims to be decentralized.. which seems to be a large feature and concern that curecoin is missing don't you think? I'm curious to hear curecoin members' side of story on that.. I don't wanna do the research cuz I assume you guys already have. are you sure its decentralized ? they don't use distribution wallet by dev ? how ?

Yep, BLK is definately one of the stayers. It's reliable, has ongoing active development, very secure, freakishly fast and a very strong and supporting community. Plus the Chinese seem to like it All we really need is just one good practical use case to draw in the big crowds. But were will we find it... Blackcoin Black Coffee Machine ? and send rat4 to a big conference someone in the forum already made payment processor... maybe he can implement in a machine http://paspagon.com/

will be good if the dev. team at least reply our posts... and community to agree about a change and the POS parameters I can help with testing the POS 3 forking
something like:
POS 3.0, no POW block time 60 seconds POS reward static 0.25 CURE (or other amount) + foundation reward to dev's wallet for Folding distribution: 5 CURE, halve every 4 years (to make 7488 CURE daily). and then dev. can send the current premine to a burning address Has it been 100% proven that POS 3.0 without POW is as secure as POS + POW??? i guess it wasn't what about proof that POW+POS is secure as POW ? we can make it POW+POS. but a faster chain or ask exchanges to allow deposits with 1 confimation ? because curecoin is sometimes slow chain than bitcoin's

I'm actually surprised by the lack of nightly dumps. Was expecting the miners to unload once a day and crash the price, then the order book recovers and creeps back up.
Its held remarkably steady. I think someone has a bot active maintaining the price, because I've been trading the spread just out of boredom and find that orders on both sides of the book get filled rather promptly.
i think its the after effect of someone fat finger buy up, yesterday

this is the right mindset that doesnt mean dead for CC2 but it mean they have a half or even a full year more time while cc itself runs in a much better shape exactly, it means an up-to-date fast CC1 and more trust-able distribution still no word from the dev. team about this suggestion of course no need to rush, but need to discuss and decide, and get more ideas

in my opinion BlackCoin is the best

looks like a bots battle to buy in bleutrade, for every market sell, another buy above it
|
|

no one is expecting you to provide buy support by yourself... you are not here to pay miners bills. only to develop the coin and usability which will hopefully attract investors

Cool, just don't make me a pressure please.
About c-Cex voting, if i see free voting support there, i will add coin to c-Cex. I am expecting community support, not pressure.
also true... no pressure but letting coin going down for 'let miners dump' is very bad tactics investors don't like to go into too low marketcap which will be almost impossible to rise with good volume trading bots are even more vicious than multipools
