Hi Patrike
found some small bugs:
Prefiks for MiningPoolHub for algo Ethash default value must be changeg from stratum+tcp:// to startum2+tcp:// (can be changed manualy in "Online Services" section)
unable connect with NBMiner to MiningPoolHub Ethash, due wrong protocol prefiks. NBminer use ethproxy+tcp://, but must be startum2+tcp:// (I dont understand why NBMiner ignore prefiks value from "Online Services" where i have manually changed to startum2+tcp:// )

regards

Hmm. I'm using MiningPoolHub mining Eth at this very moment. I haven't had any issues (yet.) I'll refer to this if I do though. Thanks!
The only issue that I discovered is that I set the port for mining ETC and it still mines ETH. That's probably a MiningPoolHub issue though, not an AM issue.

Is anyone else's Bitcoin Exchange Rate stuck at $10,999.99?
It's 10,999.30 here right now, same as in the status bar. It should be about right.

For how long has it been stuck? Do you get another number in the status bar, at the bottom of the screen?

Awesome Miner should refresh the rate on a regular interval and also refresh it once after you started the application.

It was "stuck" there for at least an hour this morning when I got up to check on the status. I thought it was strange because when I checked the actual BTC price it was listed just above $11,010. Maybe it just didn't update in AwesomeMiner and it was just my luck to catch it with all 9's.
Currently, It's reading $10,999.30 and that's ~30 minutes after you replied. How often is it supposed to update?

One of my machines (specifically a 1070 eight card rig) keeps having an intermittent issue where AwesomeMiner says "interface offline" but the machine is still working fine. I uninstalled and re-installed the remote agent and the problem keeps occuring.
Any ideas?
No firewall / anti-virus / etc running. Windows 10 ver 2004.
I have three machines and only this one is having this particular issue.

Thanks!
Thanks for your question. "Interface offline" indicates one of the following:
1) The mining software you are running isn't responding with any monitoring information when requested by Awesome Miner. If this is the case, it's some bug in the mining software that cause the monitoring interface (API) to stop working
2) Awesome Miner do receive the monitoring information from the mining software, but Awesome Miner do something wrong and fail to process and display this information.

When this problem happens, can you please select the miner and send me the API report via PM? You can generate the API report via the toolbar: Tools -> API Report. With this API Report I can verify if the mining software is responding with any monitoring details. Thanks!

Any updates from the reports that I had sent you?
The log file indicated timeouts when connecting to the Phoenix Miner API port. Can you please go to the Options dialog, Advanced section, where you can increase the "Miner API connection timeout".

I suspect some API part of Phoenix Miner running slow, making the connections to time out quite often. By increasing the timeout, Awesome Miner will wait longer for a response. It isn't a perfect solution, but it's the only kind of workaround that Awesome Miner can do in this case.

Okay thanks. Now THIS is a viable solution.
Thank you. I'll look into it tonight.

You say 2 sites back that the firewall was on and that was the problem. Please deactivate it. Or should i quote your own answer? Check IPīs in your network, sometimes my smartphone take the same ip as one of my rigs. Distance between Awesomeminer MainPC and the Rig?

Wow! Great advice!  Roll Eyes

I did. I even stated that I did. So sure... quote my answer please.
Here... allow me.

BUT! I did notice that the Windows Defender firewall did somehow get switched on.  Huh Must've happened after an update somehow.  I deactivated it and will follow up.

And following up I did... by PM. Not to you though. Sorry, I wasn't aware that I should have sent you a PM as well.
BTW I have static IP addresses on ALL devices on my network with my mining rigs. Everything is MANUALLY set.
I have 10.0.0.1, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.2.1 as networks. (Techinically I also have 192.168.5.1 as a backup LTE data connection as a failover connection to my primary router but I'm not counting that.) But all of my rigs have static IP addresses.
192.168.2.1 for my FIVE personal computers are ALSO manually set. To include network printers. The only devices that IP is assigned by DHCP is IoT and that is on a totally seperate network. So my garage door can't conflict

So... it's not a IP conflict. It's not a firewall. Out of the 42 (yes 42) devices on my home network (not including VPN connected devices) I've NEVER had an IP conflict with this configuration. Everything is it's only private network. IoT devices are seperate from my mining machines for example. All of this is for security reasons.

Distance between AwesomeMiner PC and rig??? What does that have to do with anything? Okay... I'll indulge you with an honest answer. Ready? About 2 feet. Seriously. It's all in a 4x4 tent in a 42U server rack. Machines 1 and 2 are in 4U Rosewill cases. Other machines are open frame.
BUT... the mining rigs are connected to an unmanaged switch which is connected to a managed switch with VLAN which is connected to a 10Gb unmanaged switch. So when you mean "distance" you don't mean literal distance because that makes no sense. Either way, I'm not a n00b when it comes to networking and placement of mining rigs. Please don't treat me as such. I've been using AwesomeMiner since April 2018 and the problem with the "Interface Offline" just started so it's nothing to do with "distance" or placement.

So... in conclusion it's not an IP conflict or firewall. I noticed that the firewall did somehow activate but even after deactivating everything I still had the same issue.
The only thing that I can think of is an issue with the Remote agent, the OS itself or maybe even the CAT5e cable that I'm using.
I've attempted to move the CAT5e cable to another switch but that didn't help.

Doesn't work, can you drop the configuration file under which it will work?
https://ibb.co/H4B8njN
https://ibb.co/PtF20Cr
I can clearly see that you are running some pirate/hacked version of Awesome Miner that you didn't pay for.

1) Uninstall Awesome Miner and run an anti-virus check on your computer. Hopefully you don't have any viruses at this point
2) Remove your Awesome Miner configuration files. Remove all files in this folder: %appdata%\AwesomeMiner\
3) Download and install Awesome Miner from our web site:
https://www.awesomeminer.com/download
4) Sign up for a subscription on our web site:
https://www.awesomeminer.com/signup
5) Once you have a valid subscription, I'm more than happy to help you. At this point, please create the setup again with your Ethermine pool. If it isn't working correctly, please start the miner with the Diagnostics button and share the output with me via the contact form below:
https://www.awesomeminer.com/contact

Thanks!

LOL! Busted! Such a messed up way to support the developer though.
Risk a computer that deals in crypto (security keys, passwords, finances, etc) by finding a sketchy site that hacks software, literall steal from the developer in the process and then have the balls to ask him for help when it's not working to expectation.
Patrike... you handled that very well sir. Nicely done.

After 20.4.2 the memory change to real memory in PhoenixMiner is not half... the crashes come because you push to high the memory... test all of them at 1750 Mhz ...

So I tried driver 20.3.1 and it seemed like it almost worked.
I was playing around with it for about 10 hours yesterday!

Here are my results:
If they have a hashrate and a wattage it means that it worked for a brief amount of time... that is until it didn't.
Sometimes I get the BSOD that says VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE which according to a quick Google search says that it's likely a bad driver or GPU. But since 19.9.1 seems to work fine I'm thinking it's driver related.
And when I say "crash" I mean that it results in 0 MH/s.

have four blower 5700s i get measurably highest hashrate with amd driver 20.3.1 on windows 10  . i think serepentxsf on youtube found this out first. no point in using any other driver until 20.3.1 is beaten. my 5700 all get 56megahash with tref at 12,000 and 1500 straps . they run at 57 megahash but are not stable there. core 1250 mem 1790 core volts 785 and mvvd set at 1280 in mem tweak xl. they are rock solid for weeks now. these numbers can be beaten but blower 5700s not stable. im dastardlyman on youtube but my mining vids are out of date now

Thats my setup on Sapphire 5700xt Nitro plus se card, stock bios without strap change give me 52MH/s driver iz 20.4.2

you are running a single card and Nitro+ SE, the best RX 5700xt ever Made. @ 93w you should be doing 58mh/s stable all day. your core is too low, you core volt is too high. the more cards you run the more the rig become unstable.

So...
here's what issue I've been running into.
First... my rig:
Gigabyte GA-B250-FinTech LGA1151 Intel ATX Cryptocurrency Mining 12PCIe 3.0 DDR4 Motherboard
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07988FLFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
100GB of virtual memory on a 500GB SSD.

I have 10 RX 5700XT cards.
(3 XFX Reference and 7 Sapphire Pulse cards dual bios cards)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TB5FBV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WC7683C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
All ten have the 1500 strap bios mod.
Windows 10 ver 2004

Currently with PM 5.1c and Adrenaline 19.9.1

Now... for some reason my clock speeds are:
Core: 1400
Memory: 880
cvddc: 880

If I upgrade the driver (to say 20.4.2)... a random card will crash. Guaranteed. Never the same one. If I remove one I have a pretty good chance of it being stable BUT not at those clock speeds. I have to change the memory to 1750. Any higher and I get a crash. (blue screen)
Temperatures seem fine.
Command: -mi 14 -hstats 2 -mt 2 -tstart 60 -tstop 85 -wdog 1 -tt 60 -ttli 90 and I'm averaging 546.6 for all ten so that's almost 55MH/s. I can't really tell how much from the wall because I have it on a 220v circuit with two other machines but it looks as though each card is running between 104w to 110w.

So my questions:
Why is my current driver (19.9.1) displaying 880 for memory but as soon as I change driver I have to double the memory to make it work?
Why would my rig crash (BSOD) with the latest driver that everyone seems to say is "stable"?

It seems to run fine as is... but it sucks that I can never seem to update my driver. I've tried DDU and that doesn't help. I've tried MPT. I've done the bios mod... went back to stock bios (for each card that I individually saved but later found out that GPU-Z corrupts some of the saved bios files. I'm *thinking* that the GPU-Z backup was corrupted, modded with RedBiosEditor and since I flashed it to the cards I could have *possibly* messed something up... but then why would it run fine with 19.9.1 driver? Now I'm hearing from RedPanda that some manufacturers aren't even letting customers RMA their cards if they've been bios modded because of the PID mismatch so even if I acquired a fresh bios somewhere online the PID wouldn't match up.

So... I'm thinking that my best option is to find the original bios for
Sapphire 11293-01-20G Radeon PULSE RX 5700 Xt and XFX RX-57XT8MFD6 cards.
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/214054/sapphire-rx5700xt-8192-190812
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212289/xfx-rx5700xt-8192-190616
Red Bios Edit the straps to those. Flash them individually, then with just ONE card installed flash the latest Adrenaline driver... then plug in each one separately and hope that it works.

Unless... someone else has any other suggestions.

Personally... it's working fine for me other than the fact that I can't update the drivers so I'm not in any hurry... but I am open to suggestions if anyone has them.

Thanks!

After 20.4.2 the memory change to real memory in PhoenixMiner is not half... the crashes come because you push to high the memory... test all of them at 1750 Mhz ...
I do test them all at 1750.
Everything crashes at stock clocks as well.
Very weird.

the more rx5700 xt you run , the more unstable the rig is. you core is too high, try 1350 or lower  with 780 volt.
 1 have 6  sapphire 5700xt pulse running stable @ 59mh/s

So I tried running with these settings:
Core: 1350Mhz
Memory 775Mhz (on 19.9.1 driver)
cvddc: 775mv

Command line: -mi 14 -hstats 2 -mt 2 -tstart 60 -tstop 70 -wdog 1 -tt 50 -ttli 90

One of my Sapphire cards intermittenly crashes. I average 537MH/s and get about 98w - 108w each between 59C - 60C.

I'll try with a higher cvddc 780 and see if that stabilizes the Sapphire card. Then I'll try updating my drivers.

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -wal your adress -worker 5700xt -epsw x -pool2 eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -tstop 70 -tt 50 -cclock 1250 -cvddc 775 -mclock 1800 -hstats 2
pause

I'll update my driver's tonight with those settings and give it a try.

So...
here's what issue I've been running into.
First...

So... I'm thinking that my best option is to find the original bios for
Sapphire 11293-01-20G Radeon PULSE RX 5700 Xt and XFX RX-57XT8MFD6 cards.

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212289/xfx-rx5700xt-8192-190616
Red Bios Edit the straps to those. Flash them individually, then with just ONE card installed flash the latest Adrenaline driver... then plug in each one separately and hope that it works.

Unless... someone else has any other suggestions.

Personally... it's working fine for me other than the fact that I can't update the drivers so I'm not in any hurry... but I am open to suggestions if anyone has them.

Thanks!
You're welcome!

Funny.
I'm actually asking for some feedback and helpful suggestions. I'm also putting it out there to see if anyone else has experienced something similar.
Everyone says that 20.4.2 is stable. That hasn't been my experience at all. Most stable for me are drivers that were released over a year ago. I'd say that almost everyone would agree that it's unusual.

After 20.4.2 the memory change to real memory in PhoenixMiner is not half... the crashes come because you push to high the memory... test all of them at 1750 Mhz ...
I do test them all at 1750.
Everything crashes at stock clocks as well.
Very weird.

configured miner link removed
checked! no viruses! there are more than a hundred configured bat files for various pools. this is very convenient.

and if I look at your past posts I should trust you, no? Smiley))))

this has already been written above. this is really a virus-free miner. it's just a way to increase traffic to the site, that's all.

Dev fee address was probably changed to donate to you instead.
No thank you.
How about you stop spamming the forum with your "mirror" links?

Or the dev fee address was changed in the source.
I wonder what virus that would be flagged as?

How about just stop "mirroring" and leaving it to the developers please?
