Hi,
is anyone mining here with a L3+?
How much are you making per day on average?

Regards

$5 to $10/day if your lucky and have free electricity to leave it on for 24/7
power consumption is more compared to what it earns daily.
I have 10 L3's and its still not worth it unless its running off a generator or getting free electricity.
Only people getting rich is bitmaintech for all the sales. lol

See you there!

Tried it with 1 rig and all my shares are getting rejected. What gives? Also can you lower the pool fees to at least 0.25% similar to blockmunch just to remain competitive otherwise most miners might opt to go somewhere with lower fees.

thanks

I can confirm that I am having the same issue, pool operator you might want to check your diff settings. All my shares are also getting rejected. Tried it for an hour and all shares rejected due to low diff share of 0. please check and verify pool settings.
thank you
Borg Queen

The pool is using standard vardiff settings for nomp. Min diff of 8 and max of 1024, retargetTime of 30s.

I could setup some static diff ports and / or lower the min diff if it becomes an issue.

I can report that I have, without any problems, crushed through 10 blocks with my own equipment (which are in 2 physical locations on 2 completely different ISPs).

Perhaps check your latency to the pool. It's hosted in eastern Canada.

I'll consider lowering the pool fee the next time the service needs restarting.

Hi Everyone!

I'm happy to report that the Borg Queen and I have worked together to sort out the share rejection / difficulty issue that the pool was having.

I've also opened up numerous static diff ports for those that are interested.

And additionally, I've lowered the fee to 0.15%.

sounds good, i'll point my gpu's there when i get the time.thanks

why the domain is for sale?

We are trying to migrate to a new domain

I own BorgCoin.Space and BorgCoin.net if the project were interested in using one of them as the official.

I slapped up a makeshift page on BorgCoin.space and wouldn't take much more work to wrap it up.

Looks good. Borgcoin.net forwards to borgcoin.space??? or is it my browser? lol

To be able able to run the official borgcoin site one must be in the dev team. Did you want to join the dev team to run the site?

Yeah I forwarded the BorgCoin.net so that at least it was 'live' and capturing traffic.

Sure, I can do that.

Good, first order of business is we would like to know what sort of skills you have either a crypto dev/enthusiast, web dev etc. What is your field of specialty that would be in line/relevant to being a crypto dev, in other words what are you bringing into the table. pm me your reply or post it here which ever you prefer. After that I will have someone send you all the data to upload to our new official website.

Note to all: Borgoin001 from github repo will be updated in the coming days solving the retargetting issue and some other minor bugs. We will do this once the website is up as we have not beta tested the new brg wallet with mods yet.

We will also going to be deploying at least 1500Mh/s to increase the network hashrate  to speed up the confirmation times of brg transfers once the dev who owns those rigs are satisfied that the increase in speed of confirm times won't be used to dump all their borgcoins to the exchange resulting in the depreciation of value of our coin.

That is all for now
Borg queen

Maybe release the kraken (1500mh/s) once borg is equal or higher the value of DOGE.
just a thought....

ChainWorks Industries (CWI) acquisition of OzzieCoin has now been completed, with surrounding infrastructure currently being built for OzzieCoin.
All CWI-Infrastructure and CWI-Systems for OzzieCoin will be available for use as and when they are completed.

This notice will be removed when all CWI-Systems OzzieCoin come online.

A ChainWorks Industries (CWI) Project - OzzieCoin

What OzzieCoin Is

OzzieCoin is a X11 algorithm based coin with no premine, using a PoW backend (Proof Of Work). Mining with CPU/GPU, as well as X11 ASIC, is supported and encouraged. Acquired and part of the CWI-EcoSystem means that OzzieCoin has unprecedented access to an infrastructure unlike any other in the Crypto Industry. It also means the OzzieCoin Project has access to theTEAM - theGRID - theFARM and most of the other faculties (or 'CWI-Modules') that have been developed and are being developed within the CWI-EcoSystem. There are no external or third parties involved in the running or development of our backend Infrastructure or Systems, making ChainWorks Industries (CWI) a self sufficient, and self proficient company to support this amazing project, and it's sister projects.

Our aim, as we grow and develop, is to utilize ChainWorks Industries (CWI) as being the backbone for the support and integration of the services being developed for use across the blockchain industry, with OzzieCoin being one of the Core Projects brought to market.

Currency Specifications

Coin Type: PoW
Hashing Algorithm: X11
Time Between Blocks: 2.5 Minutes (180 Seconds)

Current Block Reward: 625OZC

New Wallets are currently under way. All new wallets will have the CWI-SeedNodes hardcoded, which should make for a seamless and quick synchronization process.

How To Mine OzzieCoin

The initail step is to download a miner. We recommend the following (though not all have been thoroughly tested - your feedback is appreciated).

CPU and General

Intel/ATI/AMD: BFGMiner Linux/Windows - http://bfgminer.org/
OSX: Fabulous Panda Miner Mac OS X - http://fabulouspanda.co.uk/macminer/
CPUMminer-OPT - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803/

GPU Mining

AMD GPU: SGMiner - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503/
nVidia GPU: CCMiner-Alexis78 - https://github.com/alexis78/ccminer/

Due to the production and use of ASIC X11 miners, the above miners are recommended to be used only if you have spare hashpower available to you. We at CWI are looking at alternative algorithm choices, and are actually designing a new Algorithm to implement into OzzieCoin as soon as testing is thoroughly completed. This will make OzzieCoin a little more ASIC resistant, and once again allow for CPU and GPU miners to mine on a more 'even mining field'.

Configure Your Miner

If your using Linux:

SGMiner
./sgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7001/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x
or
./sgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7101/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x

BFGMiner
./bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7001/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x
or
./bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7101/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x

CCMiner
./ccminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7001/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x
or
./ccminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7101/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x

If you are using Windows:

Open notepad and then copy and paste the following:

SGMiner
ccminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7001/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x
or
ccminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7101/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x

BFGMiner
bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7001/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x
or
bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7101/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x

CPUMiner-OPT
cpuminer-opt.exe -a -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:7001/ -u chrysophylax.cwi -p x

You must change '-u chrysophylax.cwi -p x' to reflect your own account. For Example, '-u Steve.StevesWorker -p StevesWorkerPassword' then go to 'File > Save as' and save the file as 'runme.bat' in the same folder containing your miners application files. You are now ready to mine, double click on 'runme.bat' to start mining.

The CWI-Pool System (http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/) is an MPOS based pool frontend with a custom designed CWI-Stratum backend (named Obsidian which is unique to CWI). Choose the coin you wish mine, setup your account on the MPOS Pool, and start mining to your account.

The Official CWI-Pool OzzieCoin consists of the two ports shown above.

lodiff - Low Difficulty Port used for CPU, small GPU and small ASIC Miners.
hidiff - High Difficulty Port used for GPU Farms, large ASIC Miners, ASIC Farms and Rental Hash (For Example - MiningRigRentals and NiceHash).

this coin is dead? ozicoin website dead/for sale yet you claim to be a business but can't even maintain a single one page website? It says it all

says on the description no premine but in the coin specs it says 11.5Billion premined coins almost half of the coin supply and more than 98% of the current coins in circulation. devs have unloaded most of their coins when it got listed into an exchange and only reason they continue to market it is to get the value up against the btc so they can unload the rest of their coins.

In Australia cryptos are not taxable YET, but once you exchanged your crypto into btc and ultimately into fiat then you are legally liable to declare that as an income with the Australian taxation office, have you? What sort of support are the devs offering for their coin? Will they continue to give tech support or any kind of support once they unloaded all their coins or once the australian taxation office come busting through their doors? I'd rather stay with btc, eth or dash or some other big well know coins, anyways i can still trade it and spend them where ever i am in the world and not give in to the hype of some alt coin with some fancy country name behind it. If this is an Australian based legitimate business please also publish you Australian business number (ABN) as do other australian businesses do to prove legality and authenticity and their right to conduct a business within Australia.  https://www.ato.gov.au/general/Tax-avoidance-taskforce/
I'd point my hashing power somewhere else than to mine another alt coin such as this. My btc better spent on trading against eth than to keep buying dev's supply of their coins. I think this is what any sane person would do. But that's just me.

Please anyone correct me if i am wrong.

Should I restart the pool at https://hobbyistpool.ddns.net/borg/  ?

Let me know.

why not, the more the merrier. besides the other one is slow to update the stats if there's stats at all. been trying to mine solo but brg is stuck on this one block since tuesday last week. im guessing im the only one working on this block. just using a couple of old amd 7970 and its taking ages to get a block for me mining solo.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Borgcoin (BRG) Bringing order to chaos on: June 01, 2017, 10:47:25 AM
I've compiled and added BRG to my pool yesterday. There are a few issues with BRG.

DIFF is not changing, it says every 30 minutes but that is not happening. Although the pool found blocks they are being orphaned. I have no way of checking if it is on the right chain, blockheight reported is 75879.

Ports are stated incorrectly, looking at init.cpp in your sourcecode it clearly says
PORT (P2P) = 9335
RPC PORT = 9334

Do we have any working blockchain atm?

will have to look at the ports a bit later as i am reformatting my windows machines, prefer running BRG wallet on windows than linux. Any links to your pool?

Thanks for your update.

It seems to be running, although slow. My pool is at http://coincave.nl . IP  address is 84.29.56.160 .
addnode=84.29.56.160 in your borgcoin.conf should do the trick and make sure P2P port 9335 is open in your firewall. 9334 is your RPC port.
I can get a blockexplorer running too as soon as this diff adjust issue is resolved.

Your pool isn't displaying my workers and mined blocks. My blocks getting stolen or falling to limbo?

As we may all know that the BORG queen is a little bit busy irl and some other assimilation stuff we are currently seeking some volunteers to join our dev team. We are also in need of thread moderators who can assist other community members with their questions.

If anyone would be interested to join the borg dev team please pm us.

Thank you

Hi,
Great to hear you're back. I knew holding the BRG bag would pay off some day  Smiley
Been told by a friend of mine close to one of your dev team about your plans for the borg coin for the coming months and I logged back in to cryptopia and its safe to say that I am now buying as much BRG as I can so when the prices do go up i'll be one of the early adopters that will hold hundreds of millions of brg coins, i know it's only a matter of when not if. Anyways your secret is safe with me and my friends whom i've convinced to hoard as much BRG as we can. Be seeing you. thanks --frank

ps sent you pm for dev pos.

Borgcoin update:

Borgcoin wallet now fixed. You can now deposit, withdraw and trade borgcoins on coin-swap.net,  even though the symbol is still BORG instead of BRG this should not affect any deposits, withdrawals or trading of the borgcoins, we have already notified coin-swap of this oversight and expect it to be rectified soon.

Thank you

more to come....

That's great news! I am selling Antminers S1 and am willing to accept borgcoins for payment.

price is 1 unit Antminer S1 for BRG 2,000,000 each

pm me if you want to organize something.

thanks

Interesting.

What will happen to the unclaimed coins?

I love Coingen. ROFL

Pre-mined.

Most pre-mined coins will never be claimed and guess what its all for the devs to ump and dump.

I tend to stay away from pre-mined coins as often as I can. If you really want a fair launch then why pre-mine it? I say let the aussies mine it for themselves and that way they'll get more coins than just 1k per mobile phone supplied. I'd rather mine it myself then get more coins rather than supply my mobile phone details to feed you data mining activities. If ever I wanted to get some coins which I don't.

Sounds like data mining to me when you have to ask for mobile phone numbers to verify. Are you Sydney Bitcoins on FB (did a little research).

What are you saying you set up some rigs, I thought you mine with your CEX ghs at Trippleming?

Just a word of advise, you better have a look at the ATO site about creating another currency whether it regulated by them or not and the taxes that you are potentially to pay. I'd say do your research first before you launch your coin but I guess that's too late for you.
BTW I rang ATO and asked them about this and they're pretty interested in getting in touch with you. I'd say ring them now before they send out a summon.

Good luck with your billions and billions of pre-mined coins if ever an exchange would take this on and risk you dumping all the pre-mined coins. Lol

Looks like this coin has a lot of potential and the devs are active and always online.

Keep up the good work guys. Once this coin is listed on an exchange with a decent exchange rate I will offer to accept borgcoins on my ebay sales page ads. I am selling ant miners S1 and S2 on my ebay ads. Please pm me for details once you get listed on the exchange and will also spread the word with my friends who also sells on ebay and on their own websites.

Got 100k brg coins already after mining it for a few days. fastest coin for me so far. :-)

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] Australia Coin AUS - ON EXCHANGES - POOLS - LAUNCHED★ on: April 10, 2014, 08:09:16 AM
Why would I post personal information on a forum full of scammers. There have been no lies or acts of deception. What your asking for is personal information from a stranger to a bunch of scammers. Will you release your private info on this forum?
I've been happy enough. I haven't seen you do anything wrong. I put some BTC into the IPO, knowing full well that it was a risk to do so. If I was really worried about losing a small amount of BTC I would not have done it.

But  I have no problem with anything you've done. My BTC was escrowed until I received the AUS.
You could be a scammer for all I know. I don't think you are but if you are then I'm not that worried. I made the choice, no one twisted my arm.

Fair call.

All we are trying to do is understand who is really behind this is they are going to great lengths not to being known! My view is this whole thing is totally un australian.

On their web page they state you can get a piece of Australian crypto!  yet we can even establish if this coin is really Australian and thats a big problem  as you can see the people are not going to support something that is pretending to be something that its not!

I have also noticed there is only one person acting on the behalf of Auscoin or is it really only one person who is behind this!

Look at their webpage they also claim its Australian DEV's so how many, who are they, etc etc.

The only one person who is doing a bad job of defending it keeps saying he will contact people etc but he's too busy yet he comes on here and bags us for asking straight forward questions and the time he has wasted but he's too busy to call a local guy in WA………. all I keep seeing is excuses and buying time.

If I am also correct they handed out 1200,000,000mill Aust coins in the IPO and only took in 2.8btc!

Thats a lot of Aust coins and there is no market now let alone when they get dumped, I am a miner/trader and the data says not to bother mining it let alone how its been handled.

As I keep saying I was going to support this until I seen how its been handled and as such I will have nothing to do with this as its Totally Un Australian in my opinion.

If they keep going the way they are I will have the government step in as you can't exchange money or call for investors without having a ABN and clear transparency about who they are, they seem to think Australian laws don't apply, let alone they paid money to hide who owns the website!

My gut feel is its the one person only at this stage as I have not seen anyone else on here commenting from them.

Reported to the ATO, the user/dev of this coin including the ip address used to post here on the forums will be under investigation soon, if they/he really has an ABN number and SEC registration to lawfully offer IPO to investors.

If I'm not mistaken this is another copy and paste/ coingen alt coin and will be used to scam people. dev will probably dump his premined coins once an exchange gets volume for this alt coin. i sure hope no one is too naive to buy into this con.
