I am self-employed, with four kids, living in a tiny two bedroom shithole. Thanks to crypto, I am ready to rent a bigger home for my family. However, being self-employed, I need to provide my most recent tax return. The problem I am facing, is that I am unable to get my full trading history from liqui.io The API will allow up to 1000 trades to be downloaded at a time. Using cointracking.info I was able to set up an API and get history of 1000 trades, I have tried everything to try and get the rest, to no avail. I can only get the same 1000 trades each and every time. I had sent a support ticket back in October 2017 asking the 1000 trade history limit be raised. After months of no response to my ticket, I was able to find someone who knows how to code and was able to write up a code that was used to access my API and he was successful in obtaining all of my trades up until August 17th 2017, after that he was unable to retrieve any trades, even though my last trade was in November 2017 Now it appears as though the API permissions to access my trading history have been taken away and we are unable to retrieve any trades whatsoever. I believe the reason is that, when using cointracking.info, they let you make a call to liqui's API one time per hour, however the person I hired for $500 to write the code to retrieve my trading history downloaded 4985 trades in under an hour. My only thought, is that, the API is now restricted as he was making a call to frequently. Please help me Liqui, if you have blocked access to my API can you please unblock it, so that I can get the rest of my trading history, file my taxes, and move my family out of this shithole apartment? Thought I would reshare this post for those of you who never heard of wings before they got listed on binance today, and are asking themselves, why do I want wings in my portfolio. True Story:
If you own wings and have not taken the time to forecast in any of the ICO's that have utilized Wings for Forecasting and Promotion, then you have been missing out big time.
For those of you that do not know how it works, you stake your wings and make a prediction how much an ico will raise during their crowdfunding campaign. The more Wings you have, the closer you come to the correct amount of funds raised, and the earlier you predict the outcome will influence the reward you get from the campaign. But the best part is even if you are wrong you do not lose your wings for being incorrect, you just get less and/or no reward for that forecast.
If you own wings and you do not use wings for forecasting then all you have is wings.
But if you have wings and you forecast with wings and you fall within the range of reward payouts then you automatically get diversified into all of the different projects that use the wings platform.
Most people will receive some reward unless they are really far off. In some cases where the majority is far off and you happen to be very close it is possible for someone with 25K wings to receive CLOSE to the same rewards as someone with 3.5M wings, as will soon be revealed when the Indorse rewards are distributed.
Imagine owning 25K wings and getting a reward that will likely be worth 10K dollars!
I personally know someone with approx 10K wings that has been forecasting on wings. This persons reward from Adex was worth approx $250 when they received it, but rather than selling it, they held it, and the reward from that one forecast is now worth $4200 today.
The website is currently functional but very primitive feeling to those who do not understand that it takes so long to download because it is pulling information from the blockchain.

I am very interested in this project in the spring. Since then keep the tokens. Then did a x2 on them and decided to keep until the end of the year. But since then the price has fallen and even the fiction is not one of the pampas for half a year. This is somewhat disappointing.
yes very disappointing, the story should have read "I am very interested in this project in the spring. Since then keep the tokens, and have been staking them on all of the last 34 forecasts on wings.ai. Sure they did a x2 at one point and have fallen in value since I bought them, but now I have realized that my rewards are so fucking awesome from all of the forecast I have made, that i realize this is one token I will never sale as by using it and researching projects using wings I am now diversified in 34 different projects which were built on ethereum and am Sooooooooooo excited for the beta release in a few weeks! mm, in my opinion should be much better to the project that the forecasting funds were sent to the wings team, and they used this funds to stabilice price and to reward to the best forecasters, price movement is being a little sad lastly.
you mean a buyback ?? I think that would lower the number of forecasting ppl and probably the interest from ICOs to the wings platform for this reason Blah, let's not talk about the price of wings because it is purely based on perspective... I bought all my wings on ICO, and currently the value is some 20X from ico price... so to me, the price is fine. In fact, I would actually prefer the price to go down because I would like to reinvest my forecasting rewards into wings. Also, the price going up does nothing for me cause I won't sell. I'm interested in seeing this project develop which is a long term deal... Anyone interested in the price going up is here for short term trading... As a long term investor, I want the price to go down because it will benefit me greater this way. Hence, price is purely based on your perspective... So let's stop discussing price because it is literally pointless you bought into the wings ico and you think you'll only get 5BNT from your first forecast? |

I don't really understand the benefit of forecasting tbh.....since there is a hard cap of 12 Million $, which will be raised for sure, we essentially just try to guess how much one ether is worth on the day of the ICO.
I mean the rewards are great and Coindash gets more exposure to potential investors, but the forecasting itself is kinda useless imo.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say that this pull back is actually good because it will force out people who are just interested in short term profits and allow new people to buy in who understand that WINGS tokens are something they can use to earn tokens on ICOs that engage with the DAO and get the help of the DAO members to promote their ICO (assuming it is a legit team/idea of course). Right now people see only the price on coinmarketcap but this tells nothing about all of the rewards: Bancor = $250,000 in BNT + ETH Adex = $600,000 in Adex coin (at current price on CMC) Coindash = 2.5% of all tokens sold (1.25% of tota) - I think CoinDash can be worth $50M+ easy if promoted correctly as they have already a Beta product... so that's another $625,000 So just the first ICOs already can bring in $1.5 million with only 1 month of operating in pre-beta Only 22% of WINGS right now are forecasting; at current valuation this is only about $8 million worth... getting $1.5 million in rewards for only the first 1 month of forecasting. That's a 240% annualized return if that keeps up for the group of DAO members who take the time to participate- of course each member's return depends on how good they are in forecasting and helping the ICO achieve the forecast but if you fall within the average over the next 10 or 20 ICOs it should work pretty well. The key here is that the DAO members forecasts are coming in line with reality, which eventually means that there has to be a bit of social promotion going on to hit targets - that will be the real test can the DAO swarm forecast and execute successfully on that forecast to realize it. It's really a big experiment to see if 100s and perhaps one day 1000s of people from around the globe can sort of self organize with just a rather simple reward system to weed out bad projects and help the right projects get funded. waw! this looks very good!! im holding my wing and forecasting every ico that comes I for one am very pleased with all the hard work this team has done, and amazed by the icos that have used wings so far even while we are still in pre-beta, to me that says ALOT Although, I like everyone else wishes we could have received our bounties from the forecasts we have done so far, I much prefer safety first by ensuring all audits are complete before the funds are released. I saw on slack that one audit is now complete, which means there are two, possibly three more audits before the devs release the contract on main net. I feel confident that the rewards will be paid out and appluad the devs for not rushing this even though there have been quite a few disgruntled people asking them to... If the contract is released before all audits are complete we could have a major disaster, so I am find waiting until the time comes that all audits are complete |

Just bought few thousands of Wings to partecipate in the Coindash forecasting.
Some newbie questions here... It's my first prediction..
1) I saw this "Note this sum of WINGS will be locked on your Ethereum account, you will be able to unlock them later after the forecasting ends". This mean I can't trade my wings during prediction period, but when the forecasting time ends? Why I should do my prediction now and no on 15th July for example? There is a bonus (in terms of reward) to predection now rather than in a week or 10 days?
2) How is the reward divided? In proportion to the locked tokens or depends on the predection?

if you wait until the 15th you'll miss out on coindash forecasting since it ends on the 11th, which means DaoAct forecasting you would be forecasting towards the end of that one since their pre-ico is on the 17th It is true you cannot trade coins while they are locked in forecasting. Guess you have to decide which is better for your circumstances, day trading or forecasting. I suck at day trading, so far forecasting is something I prefer myself. Rewards are calculated using three factors, how early did you forecast compared to others, how close did you come compared to others, and how many wings did you lock for the forecasting. |

actually I thought of one more reason I love my wings. Bancor tried to use a method allowing anyone and everyone who wanted to invest in their ico, but it didn't work and they had to end it early because of the insane amount of money they raised. But if you had wings and you used them to forecast you were able to obtain BNT without joining the crowdsale. I expect coindash will sell out EXTREMELY fast. Again I am glad I own wings and use them to forecast so that I can earn some CDT whether or not I am lucky enough to get into the ICO since it's likely alot of people won't be able to, assuming it sells out as fast as I think it will It's not like your going to get a huge bag of coins... You might get like 5 bancor  That's more like a dividend to be sold at market rate... unless you plan on holding those expecting BNT to be 100billion cap coin. Obviously if you want in on these projects your going to have invest... LMAO, how do you know how how many BNT I will get!?! The top WingsDao whale that forecasted, all things being equal, meaning everyone forecasted at the exact time, and forecasted the exact same thing, which they didn't, but had it happened that way, he would have earned 15,500 USD worth of BNT and ETH, granted the top whale had 3.5M wings and I don't, but how do you come up with the conclusion that I only get 5 BNT for my efforts of due diligence at making forecasts through wings platform? Do you know how early I forecasted? Do you know how close I came to the right prediction? Do you know how many wings I have? (In the future, do you know how many people are giving me their liquid delegation to forecast for them?) This is why I say, wait until rewards are paid out, then wings will FLY! People who don't have wings will want wings, and "Some people" who have wings will realize they've been missing out on forecasting and will be pulling them off exchanges to actually use them to earn rewards. (Think supply/demand) hint hint.... Their are going to be people who earned bags full of sometimes hard to get your hands on coins. And in the future, it will be possible for people with lesser wings getting huge shares of these compared to people with many more wings due to the fact that they are really good at forecasting. |

But your reputation goes up and down depending on how close or how far off you are Eventually there are going to be people that have wings that suck it for casting and will delegate their vote to you if you're really good and you will get a percentage of their rewards for doing the work for them The site is working really slow but as I understand it is just a beta phase. Nevertheless if this what you say is true, I am surprised that the price is that low - with marketcap like that it should not be hard to go at least x5 from here. I absolutely agree that is why I have sold every token I have except for Eth to buy as many wings as I can because I believe it is so cheap. Our market cap should, IMHO be above Steem which would put us at about $3.50 Which projects built on ethereum are currently paying rewards right now? Etheroll, Steem and wings, right? Am I missing any? Just wait until the first rewards are paid out, then goodbye cheap WINGS One last thing...
