I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say that this pull back is actually good because it will force out people who are just interested in short term profits and allow new people to buy in who understand that WINGS tokens are something they can use to earn tokens on ICOs that engage with the DAO and get the help of the DAO members to promote their ICO (assuming it is a legit team/idea of course).

Right now people see only the price on coinmarketcap but this tells nothing about all of the rewards:

Bancor = $250,000 in BNT + ETH
Adex = $600,000 in Adex coin (at current price on CMC)
Coindash = 2.5% of all tokens sold (1.25% of tota) - I think CoinDash can be worth $50M+ easy if promoted correctly as they have already a Beta product... so that's another $625,000

So just the first ICOs already can bring in $1.5 million with only 1 month of operating in pre-beta

Only 22% of WINGS right now are forecasting; at current valuation this is only about $8 million worth... getting $1.5 million in rewards for only the first 1 month of forecasting.  That's a 240% annualized return if that keeps up for the  group of DAO members who take the time to participate- of course each member's return depends on how good they are in forecasting and helping the ICO achieve the forecast but if you fall within the average over the next 10 or 20 ICOs it should work pretty well.

The key here is that the DAO members forecasts are coming in line with reality, which eventually means that there has to be a bit of social promotion going on to hit targets - that will be the real test can the DAO swarm forecast and execute successfully on that forecast to realize it.

It's really a big experiment to see if 100s and perhaps one day 1000s of people from around the globe can sort of self organize with just a rather simple reward system to weed out bad projects and help the right projects get funded.

Some newbie questions here... It's my first prediction..

1) I saw this "Note this sum of WINGS will be locked on your Ethereum account, you will be able to unlock them later after the forecasting ends". This mean I can't trade my wings during prediction period, but when the forecasting time ends? Why I should do my prediction now and no on 15th July for example? There is a bonus (in terms of reward) to predection now rather than in a week or 10 days?

2) How is the reward divided? In proportion to the locked tokens or depends on the predection?

if you wait until the 15th you'll miss out on coindash forecasting since it ends on the 11th, which means DaoAct forecasting you would be forecasting towards the end of that one since their pre-ico is on the 17th

It is true you cannot trade coins while they are locked in forecasting. Guess you have to decide which is better for your circumstances, day trading or forecasting. I suck at day trading, so far forecasting is something I prefer myself.

Rewards are calculated using three factors, how early did you forecast compared to others, how close did you come compared to others, and how many wings did you lock for the forecasting.

I for one am very pleased with all the hard work this team has done, and amazed by the icos that have used wings so far even while we are still in pre-beta, to me that says ALOT

Although, I like everyone else wishes we could have received our bounties from the forecasts we have done so far, I much prefer safety first by ensuring all audits are complete before the funds are released.

I saw on slack that one audit is now complete, which means there are two, possibly three more audits before the devs release the contract on main net.

I feel confident that the rewards will be paid out and appluad the devs for not rushing this even though there have been quite a few disgruntled people asking them to... If the contract is released before all audits are complete we could have a major disaster, so I am find waiting until the time comes that all audits are complete

You need to have a small amount of ETH in the same wallet to pay for the gas. Perhaps that is the problem?

Won't it be better to just buy more wings tokens and forecast the performance of the ICO than to participate in the ICO itself. The amount of reward accrued from forecasting is very huge for forecasters

Yes you can use all your WINGS for forecast the bigger amount mean the bigger reward you will get. There is no chance to lose these tokens just will get locked for that period of forecast.

So i just completed the forecasting for the Coindash ICO. First of all; the forecast is a laugh since you basically have to predict the price of ETH. IMO this is not predictable and only a guess, but ok i will do it and hopefully get some nice revenue. However, i question the added value of this prediction. Secondly, the website is really slow. The team should really do something about that in order to make it more user friendly!

I bought all my wings on ICO, and currently the value is some 20X from ico price... so to me, the price is fine.

In fact, I would actually prefer the price to go down because I would like to reinvest my forecasting rewards into wings.
Also, the price going up does nothing for me cause I won't sell. I'm interested in seeing this project develop which is a long term deal...

Anyone interested in the price going up is here for short term trading...
As a long term investor, I want the price to go down because it will benefit me greater this way.

Hence, price is purely based on your perspective...
