21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Vote for us on exchanges! on: March 10, 2014, 03:35:11 PM
New thread to discuss the further development and bounties:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=509528

I pm'd the dev to offer my help to organize the bounties but still didn't get an answer,
and we at the IRC decided to make some kind of foundation for further development.

Has anyone looked at the activity on the block explorer http://coin.ww9.me/?

The two master addresses that contained all the coins started sending out peoples stake but instead of sending out coins and setting the change address as their own, they are creating a new address for the remaining 499,000, then 498,000, etc.

So for every stake that gets sent out, the 500,000 coins changes addresses.

Surely it is easier to code the system to set the change address as its own and repeat the procedure using the next variable data (user address) in the list.

Obviously having a single address that sends out coins would be more fair and transparent wouldnt it?

What is the purpose of this other than to obfuscate the number of addresses holding coins?

When you send coins to 1 address and you have any remainder you get back it by default on a new address.

Fucking Lulz!!

Go to http://coin.ww9.me/ to look at FAIR distribution.
Of the 498 distributed stakes listed:

Address
  • fNSDQ8qz6LTmtsZwKMtTkqPgAKqqd4Kemr
Stakes
  • 283

Address
  • fYPUuNCqsed8z3hoobKaXAD7thadDY1ueD
Stakes
  • 86

Address
  • fJ4iCQqw57yf5MpX3z54xU1esPGxu7kHvW
Stakes
  • 90

And that's only less than 500 of 49,500 stakes.
I can only imagine how many the developer took for himself with access to the backend of the distribution site!
Whoever the owner of http://coin.ww9.me/ is please update your site so we can audit the distribution list.

Man lol...
There is 100x500000 transaction, this is exatly 50million fair coin, what the dev started to distributing now.
The other 0.001 transactions are just the transaction fees what the miners get.

Ahh you are right, I was looking at the payouts on the bottom of the list (50,000 each) but those stop around 100.
Those payouts are monopolized by basically two addresses.

Is there a working block explorer out there?

Not yet, but I hope the dev will make a bounty for that soon.

Here is the static blockchain http://coin.ww9.me/ . ( It won't update itself. )
Maybe a table format should be better. :/

Since 6th March there were no distribution ( if I am wrong, please tell me ).

Nice one for start!

No we are all waiting for the distribution, maybe the dev had to go sleep after the exhausting signup period, he had to work a lot Cheesy

To those claiming FaircoinExchange.com is a scam...we launched 6 hours ago! Give us a chance at least Wink

Seriously I realize there are many trolls and people who just love to write scam so we have decided to ignore them. We never claimed to be the devs, we believe we are all part of a community that believes strongly in Faircoin. Faircoin is a genius idea and I hope everyone realizes how successful this coin will become.

We are waiting for the coins to be released, and then as a show of good faith to the community we will launch a faircoin giveaway, details to come soon. I hope those who keep claiming we are scammers will realize they are just hurting this coin - instead please spend your time promoting the coin to everyone you know, just like we are doing!

We are readily available by PM or email through our website to answer any questions you may have.

FaircoinExchange.com

What do you think guys, shall we give them a try, they might be genuine?

Start off with really small amounts, and build up trust?

Lol no, this exchange site is obviously scam, even a 8year old can make a site like this, and their price tag there is funny too...

Faircoin is not a genius idea but a copycat of premine coin...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=427519.0

Your wrong, there is no PoS in preminecoin, and its have a max cap...

when exactly are we getting rich ?

In about a years time, after we promote the shit out of this coin!

Never, when the price will move up everybody will sell a lot of coin, so the coin will be distributed among a lot of people not only 50k.
That is happend with the bitcoin too, those who bought a lot for cents only very very few people kept their bitcoins after 1-10$, only some developers did and those who forgot they have.

Quite possibly, I don't intend on selling any of mine for a while (unless it goes for a stupid amount?), I would like to help build the community, and get the word out.

I think that the early adopters should all help promote as much as possible too.

It's in their interest.

Agreed, we need to set up facebook, twitter, reddit accounts, the usual stuff to get the word out.

I tried to make the reddit page for the coin, but this is reserved:
http://www.reddit.com/r/faircoin

I helped for some dogecoin pool owners to promote dogecoin on reddit at the start, I think we made a good job Smiley , so if you trying to make something like this pm me.

Me neither, but if almost all of the early stakeholders thinking like this, and there is a minimal demand the price could reach a big level Cheesy
But I don't know what will happen, I think we have never seen an equally distributed coin how behaves on exchanges.

Maybe every owner who got 1000 coin will reserve ther stake for years, maybe everybody will sell it for nothing, nobody knows Cheesy

Much Hello!

Our launch was a great success and we are all working together to make this coin the next... NXT Wink

Faircoin will be the number one proof of stake cryptocurrency, and everyone is working together and contributing to make this happen. There is a huge initial community behind this coin and soon Faircoin will be a top 10 cryptocurrency!

We believe in this currency long term, and since we realize it may take some time to get on the major exchanges and coinmarketcap, we have set up an over the counter market for people to buy and sell Faircoins.

Please visit our new site:  http://www.FaircoinExchange.com

About us: We are a team of best friends who have been in crypto for years, and we are dedicated to make trading Faircoins easy, fast, and most of all secure. We are working hard to expand our exchange functionality and hope you will also help facilitate the growth of this new market.

We already have a large amount of pre-orders from people who either missed the distribution or want more! If you would like to be added to our orderbook or have any recommendations please send us a message.

Cheers.

Hi ,
This is NOT part of our team,
Please be very very careful!

Even their site says that 50million Fair coin exists ever, however its not ture, there is no limit, only 50million was generated at start, more coins will be generated trough PoS.
And it would be better if somebody make a true exhange site like dgex.com for NXT, rather than to make a kind of "broker" site like this.

Will buy 100 Faircoins for 0.01 BTC.
Will you buy 25k for 2.4 BTC?

Man dont sell it that cheap...
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Vote for us on exchanges! on: March 09, 2014, 02:20:34 PM
Hi guys,
I believe that the distribution of the coins will begin in the coming hours,
As part of our attempt to be as transparent as possible, here is the google analytics report of the signup period:
https://mega.co.nz/#!jQIFULSZ!vRqeTVsI0qeZ9SC9ZV7BSSTfEkKirm66VIoso-TgqkY

Thanks,
Faircoin Team

I think its pretty fair, the most stakeholders from the most populated countries as we expected, Israel is a bit too high for me but maybe there were some site there where Fair coin spreaded so fast, and yes Chinese have some stake, but there are a lot of Chinese people in the world  Smiley
And we heard that in the QQ groups many chinese involved into Fair coin, so I think this means we have rather many individual chinese stakeholders than some chinese guys with large stake.

You can make one Cheesy
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Get your fair share - NOW on: March 09, 2014, 01:17:13 AM
Less than 4k stake place for now..
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Get your fair share - NOW on: March 07, 2014, 02:50:28 PM
you should advertise this/ get a pr team to put this on tech blogs with a huge heading: "your starting point to crypto (for free)"
distribution looks good, can't think of a reasonably effective way to hack it which doesn't involve 3rd world workers and a lot of ip's
true vpns.. proxy and other shit..

The TOR ip's are all banned as I checked it, and we reaching 49k too fast to game the system, all the spots will be run out much before somebody will try to game this system.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Get your fair share - NOW on: March 07, 2014, 02:30:31 PM
This looks very promising, And they say NEM will be fair with his only 4k shareholders, where a lot could take stake without any bitcoin,
while the last investors had to pay a lot for the same stake.
And the NEM team developer stake is very huge.

For me Faircoin have the most fair distribution!!  Smiley

I see a bright future for Faircoin.
