21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with nicehash and pools on: February 11, 2021, 10:24:36 PM
Some times nicehash pool becomes more profitable than what it's calculator is showing and most times it doesn't rime with other available pools, the thing is nicehash pool isn't stable, there is no crime in changing this pool for another
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: February 10, 2021, 03:14:03 PM
If you think you are smart well think again

After UNI Airdrops many starts looking for people's Private keys and recovery seeds using search engines and data engines like 4shared and others but guess what?

Some smart scammers are out there willingly exposing their private keys and recovery seed so that greedy people can scan through them, here is what the scammers have in store

The scammers leave good valuable tokens on the wallet and set the wallet to automatically send out any deposited Ethereum, the greed people will want to deposit eth to quickly move out the tokens to exchanges but its a smart trap, once the eth landed on the wallet address it automatically send out to another Ethereum address...

How did I know this? I know someone who fell for this, luckily he only deposit 20$ worth of Ethereum..
The people who fall from this method are not really greedy but they are newbie and no knowledge at all about this hacking technique.  I think these scammers are not deserve to call smarter people because they  steal other people money maybe better to call them thieves.
How? You need to explain better because what OP said is 100% true, when newbies created a new wallet the wallet will warn them about keeping their private keys or recovery seed safe and to themselves only and they keep theirs only to go on google search to find others private keys or recovery seed? Listen to yourself mate, this is pure greedy path
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much time will a laptop last? RTX 3060 on: February 10, 2021, 03:07:31 PM
I would warn against laptop mining but we have new laptops with latest architecture, they can withstand heavy loads at low power consumption so it's not a bad plan at all if your laptop is one of the latest, just put your eye on the temp using msi afterburner
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / egpu for mining on: February 10, 2021, 03:04:26 PM
Is there anyway to get egpu to mine? I heard they haven't appreciate in value compare to discrete graphic cards and some comes with RTX3080 in them, I'm thinking this can be a good way to get gpu at fixed or cheap price, what do you say?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Ethereum ETH with 470 4GB on: February 09, 2021, 04:16:13 PM
Lolminer is the solution you seek, many are still using 12x RX570 and RX580 4gb cards to mine big using lolminer and they are getting over 25 or 26 mhs, you should visit their thread here and see for yourself

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which upcoming DeFi projects would you recommend? on: February 09, 2021, 04:11:32 PM
Never heard about raaven before but Cartesi is well known on this forum and outside this forum, it's a good DeFi project just like few others, I don't like recommending DeFi projects to people because they are even more risky than other, also I will like to advice you not to invest in a DeFi project because people recommend them to you, you got to do your own research, here are other few I like, Paid Network, DIA, Polkadot and Avalanche
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real fact behind crypto ban in Nigeria on: February 09, 2021, 04:02:32 PM
There is more that meet the eye, nigeria is a failed country that's plagued with too many problems, from low levels to high levels every thing about the country is huge corruption but crypto comes to the rescue, remember when money flows to people they will have some power and gut, I believe the government may not like this, remember the endsars craziness? The government find all means to silence their people but crypto was used to help some funding then, you really think this won't pissed the government off? Like I've said there is more that meet the eye
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: February 08, 2021, 12:19:30 PM
I found two my old GPU's (AMD Radeon 4850 0.5GB and 6870 1GB), what kind of hashrate I would expect from these cards? And if I connect 2 GPU's to mobo, do I need the SLI bridge adapter for mining?

It simply won't work at all. You need at least 4 Gb VRAM to mine ETC and 6 Gb VRAM for ETH...

Not quite correct

for ETC you need 2.6GB VRAM currently

for ETH you need 4.1GB VRAM currently

Yes indeed.

But there not point to buy a 3Gb VRAM to mine ETC unless you already have the VGA and with a 4Gb VGA you can't mine ETH and there no 5 Gb VRAM VGA...

Theres the nVidia 1060 5GB https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1060-5-gb.c3060#:~:text=The%20GeForce%20GTX%201060%205,GeForce%20GTX%201060%205%20GB.
I used to have this gtx1060 5GB version, I came preinstalled in a dell gaming pc some months ago and I sold the card and the desktop PC separately, this 5gb is very scarce, they aren't available for sell anywhere it's better to buy the 6gb versions they are everywhere on online stores
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Choosing the right riser boards for RTX series on: February 08, 2021, 12:09:27 PM
The risers with number 009s are reported to be more stronger I believe but that doesn't mean the 005 and 006 won't work, I use all these risers in different mining rigs and no problem or whatsoever, I had one that stopped working, I think it's 006 but that's a fault of mine
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stay away from new POW coins on: February 08, 2021, 12:06:55 PM
Don't waste your time mining new coins, if a coin have real purposes many will forward their hashing power to such coin, in a week the Mining difficulty will rise alot, I've mined over 20 altcoins in the past mainly cryptonight coins and only 4 of the coins survived till date, that's haven, loki, dero, and turtle coin, others are abandoned,
I fell for bad Pow coins in 2017 because I don't have the idea about fake and real projects that I have now back then, I sucks at doing good research on projects, in 2017 there are so many new proof of work algorithm coins but majority of them died, I'm not sure if we still have new coins that are still using Pow algorithm today, the only one I know is Conflux token
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next Big coin Trx on: February 07, 2021, 04:31:31 PM
That's your own decision and it's not that bad, I have some tron in my wallet but I don't expect any huge price pump until real altcoin season starts, the advantage of holding Tron right now is cheaper transaction fee for it's trc10 and TRC20 tokens unlike Ethereum gas fee right now
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: February 07, 2021, 04:27:05 PM
Amepay token is down in price and it's going to take some effort to see the price recovers once again, many people already left the bounty campaign and many have dumped their tokens, some are trapped because of eth high gas fee, if gas fee goes lower I'm sure there will be more dump, I will keep holding the tokens maybe altcoin season effect can affect the token
Yeah you right many participants left signature AMEPAY campaign and they still not pay for three week before and keep going on for the next week with delay payment so far, I think with coin dump and not giving more reward many participant will looking new campaign signature for joining, bad choose if keep holding your signature with AMEPAY bounty campaign because you got nothing after payment always delay and price dump.
Amepay wasn't like this, they've kept their promise to pay participants for weeks and the payment always comes but after Ethereum gas fee gets higher they aren't able to send the remaining tokens, this is so understandable
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Feel Confuse !!! on: February 07, 2021, 04:21:56 PM

when I looked at the gas content in my ERC 20 wallet it was not enough to send the alt I had to the exchange, because the gas fee were very high.
do you have a cheaper way to send tokens ??

share your opinion ,,please
there is no other way to make gas fees from Ethereum become low, because for now gas fees from Ethereum are very high and all you have to do is wait until gas fees from Ethereum become cheap, although we don't know when it will happen or maybe even gas fees from Ethereum could be more expensive than now.
Then why should people like us be happy about holding some tokens for bull season sake when we can't even send the tokens to exchanges? What's the wait for altcoin season all about? It makes no sense because if Ethereum gets to 2000$ the gas fee will even increase further

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC and decentralized projects possibility on: February 02, 2021, 04:49:59 PM
SEC is capable of anything, it's either you come out clean and settle things with them or get crushed, been decentralized won't safe you even if you are not in the US, to me it's exactly what I hoped for from SEC I believe they are the only thing standing against fraud projects and platforms, I wish they keep putting in more effort to stop whatever is not safe for investment
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Forget ETH, what are some low market cap coins to buy you LAMBOS for $100? on: February 02, 2021, 04:35:28 PM
And Teslas?

I say KoinOS (by former Steem Devs, best blockchain devs in the world) and Banano (a Nano fork but still cheap. And fun!).

Any other projects to go x100 this year?

You better don't go on exchanges to buy altcoins simply because they have low marketcap, some of them won't surge because real use case is the only thing that sure the most right now, the altcoin season of 2021 will be different from the one in 2017/2018, it's all about utility and use case of the coins and tokens not just hypes
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What drives alt season? on: February 02, 2021, 04:32:06 PM
Altcoin season is real, it always happens when bitcoin reach a new max level in value and btc dominance start going down, right now altcoins are not really in bullish mode because bitcoin dominance is still very high, whales also have a part to play in altcoin seasons, when they get enough roi from Bitcoin at ATH they will move funds out of btc and into altcoins
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi tokens - do they have a real value? on: February 02, 2021, 04:28:56 PM
This might sounds annoying and untrue but to me it's the truth, 99% of DeFi projects aren't true decentralized finance and most investors don't really cares, they invest to make gains out of them only, I just pity those who plan to become future whales through DeFi projects, only very few DeFi projects are true decentralized finance
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 580 - Ethereum Mining Help (Trying to get 30+ Mh/s) on: January 29, 2021, 09:41:39 AM
Thanks for all the advice. I'll look into BIOS modding and let you know how it works out.
You can just download Minerstat or hiveOS and flash your graphic card bios inside these miners dashboard, they support flashing bios and overclocking inside the miner's interface, very easy and safer for newbies who have no experience
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non successful projects find it hard to pay on: January 29, 2021, 09:19:38 AM
Are new projects supposed to be well successful today to pay bounty hunters their promised payment? If they raise huge amount of money paying bounty hunters won't be a big problem, am I right ?
Successful projects find it hard to pay and keep their promises, poolz raised huge amount of money and they refused to pay promoters because the token raised up to 14$ per token, isn't that greediness? Successful or not won't determine if you are going to get paid
