Halcyon Peersend Anonymous System is finishing final testing in the live network. When are you going to release it, Dev? Once everything is verified 100% working on the live network instead of the internal test network I was using before. ETA is a few hours. We believe that the dev,he is one of the best for developers,he is confident and honest

Greetings community, with great pleasure and an exceeding feeling of joy, i'd like to announce to you all that I have completed the anonymous client build. Everyone who would like to test the anonymous transactions I have set aside 1,000 HAL for this purpose. When the client is released tomorrow I will be both here and on the exchanges to test it all with you.
Thank you kindly,
HalcyonDev

Just for you guys to be clear the first decentralized anon coin already exist and it is the one created by Dan.. XC
Yes, I agree. It is a great project, stable marketcap, innovative ideas. My project is a different approach which avoids using CoinJoin type of technologies, which is why it interests Dan. XC is very strong already, maybe you will join us for our growth as well. Greetings Halcyon community, I am Dan Metcalf, Developer of XC. I was invited to do the review for Halcyon coin as part of my proof of code service. I’m nearly done with my review of the code and expect to release the review on Sunday. I can assure you that the code is real, the anon is a real and working solution that likely took the developer countless hours of research and programming. The solution is far superior to any of the centralized coinjoin implementations I have seen. With that being said there is potential for a cross-block chain anonymous solution since HAL is completely decentralized and trust-less. Since I am always excited to see additional innovation coming in to the scene, and at my core my deepest desire is to see crypto currencies adopted by the main stream. I have a vision of a decentralized world and anything that supports my vision and brings us one step closer deserves a chance to do so without being senselessly attacked. I encourage you all to do your research in to a coin before investing as this review is focused on the code and making sure it works as stated, is secure and is not a virus/Trojan. Dan Metcalf ATC Secure dmetcalf@atcsecure.comBest of wishes for both projects its new, great dve,LOVE YOU

Dev Update:
Hello Community, thank you very much for your patience as I diligently work to bring you new features. As a lone dev it is difficult at times to find the proper balanced between updating and putting in the hard work necessary to meet deadlines. That said, I am on track to meet my commitments. I am working with Dan Metcalf to assist him with the review process, it has been straight forward so far and he has expressed great respect for the work in the anonymous code thus far and has even made a few recommendations of which I will implement.
A bit of info on the tech:
The Decentralized master nodes will be operated by anyone who chooses with a minimum balance of 2,000 Halcyon, this will guarantee perfect security, and also provide a nice benefit on top of staking for those who choose to participate in the anon process. I have chosen to do it this way to ensure the long term success of this coin. There is also a system in place that will process the anon transactions even if User wallets are not in place, this will make sure the network is always functioning and your security is available.
Other things I am working on right now.
Improved graphics:
Total redesign of the logo with a more corporate style image.
Wallet graphical redesign with animations for the anon process that visually represent the stages the anon transaction is in during processing. This will look really cool and i'm excited for it.
Mobile
A fully functioning mobile wallet that will support the peer send anonymous transaction system as well as some additional mobile specific features.
Payment Platform I am working on an e-commerce solution that will allow merchants to easily accept Halcyon in exchange for goods and services.
Nootropics store Currently, i've created my own site for the reselling of nootropics for HAL, still looking in to finding other merchants however. I have received positive responses from some.
All releases are still on schedule and i've laid the groundwork for the september 9th release of the anon. I'm excited to also take some time to send some anon transactions to those who have a balance of 2,000 present to support the network. On release day be sure to come to the IRC and the ANN to participate.
Thank you,
Halcyon Dev
All releases are either ahead or right on schedule!
ANN has become so busy now! Wanted to repost this so all can see.
I really don't like the personal arguments in thread about cars and offers of sales and such. This thread is intended to serve as a place for me to keep the community updated, and for all to discuss the project. Please, let's keep it on topic! Thank you
Back to work...A new begin,boooooom

Hello Halcyon community. The code for the Peersend decentralized and trustless anon is fully operational and currently in the beta test phase. I’m testing it locally in a multi-system virtualized environment and have it also connecting externally to the environments of a few trusted friends.
I mentioned about a week ago that I was looking for a trusted developer to review the code.
At the suggestion of many in the community, I have submitted the code to Dan Metcalf for his Proof of Code and security services. Dan and I tried to do it by simply screen sharing, but it is inefficient and took too many hours. After asking the advice of other developers, I decided to send the source code to him. I was hoping to post a full review today, but he says the code is complex and needs a proper review. He will have the review completed before release, assuring to all that the code is both secure and effective at the anonymization of transactions. He will be posting here and on his Twitter to verify that he is reviewing.
I am right on track for the Sept 9th anonymous release with only a few simple bugs to fix before then. I’m excited to release the Peersend technology and I expect it to be a powerful contribution to the future of cryptocurrency.I also contacted albertdros of http://www.cryptodesign.net/ to contract him for a new, corporate style logo as the community recommend, I listen We also have interview with an altcoin site and some small advertising coming. Thanks to all! +1 100K SOON

AltcoinWarehouse is proud to announce that Halcyon will be supported in our public beta test. What is a better place to spend your Halcyon's than in a webshop where you can buy thousand of products! We are currently alpha-testing our payment gateway on our live servers and we are only days away from the public beta! Visit our topic for more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=758461.0Click here for our Coinssource Trust Verification. We are still looking for investors. Visit our topic to find out how our investors are richly rewarded! If you are interested in investing you can send us a PM or contact mike@altcoinwarehouse.com Great to have a merchant service supporting HAL. I see you only support 5 or 6 coins and I thank you for adding HAL!
To the community and thread posters, thank you for being civil and so pleasant, it motivates me to work harder. I originally moderated the thread fearing vicious attacks but I have hardly had to moderate anything out, almost nothing at all for the last week except one post where there was a non-fud communication misunderstanding and I explained the reason to the poster.
Go HAL! More details on anon today and the infographic is just about ready. Sorry for lapse on that, have been busy coding and making a few small changes.
Think of current anon tech as centralized anonymous mixing. The identity and info being transmitted is anonymous to the majority of people, but for the central nodes (or mixer, or whatever central point of information), they still receive the transmitted identities and info unfiltered. Thus, if those central points were to be compromised then the transactions and identities would not be anonymous anymore for all transactions going through that point (or if someone simply tweaked the coding or protocol to save the unfiltered info somewhere, or any number of ways the unfiltered info can be recorded or displayed).
Thus, for truly "anonymous" transactions, we must also decentralize the "mixing" aspect. Unfortunately due to how the internet works and IP's, even this will not give true anonymity, but will make it extremely difficult to find a "patch or work-around", and greatly reduce the chances of someone de-anonymizing the transactions.
Essentially, the points I've just brought up before, make HAL's method of anonymization much more decentralized than previously existing tech, and a much truer method of anonymizing transactions.
This is a very good explanation, today I will post the graphics to help explain the ideas to our community, and give details of the anonymous system ongoing progress and testing.
Looking forward to good news coming, boom boom
