21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is waves still unknown to most people ? on: February 24, 2019, 04:40:38 PM
Most of their technologies are behind other platforms. So they do not have the advantage of leading the way in technology so they don't have many users like ETH, etc
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 Shopping List on: February 24, 2019, 04:36:19 PM
How about new projects, BTT for example, I'll probably take a risk and buy something from the upcoming ICO.

The current price of BNB is quite high compared to the ICO price, if you want to invest it, wait a few more months. When it really no longer fomo like the present
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: February 24, 2019, 04:29:20 PM
a few short term predictions within the next 3 months:

1) ETH will recapture #2 spot after the fork, might surpass at least 200 USD again.

2) BTC will probably make a move towards 5000 USD...

You should update the news regularly, ETH has passed XRP for several weeks. And it is possible that after a retest at 3k7-3k8 today it may make Bitcoin reach 4k5 price soon
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: February 23, 2019, 11:02:47 AM
Always put safety first, and that makes me learn and research thoroughly before doing something. With the same investment, it helps me limit mistakes. Don't be afraid of mistakes that don't think to be subjective when doing anything
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: February 23, 2019, 10:36:47 AM
It is possible specially in some cases where the owner is wreckless. We should keep our wallets and private keys in private. It would be a risk if we'll share it wih untrusted people. Everything is hackable these days so we must be aware and be wise.

In case of not sharing the key with anyone, the risk is if you encounter an accident. The number of properties will be gone forever, and I have recorded ways to be able to log into my wallet for my relatives. Until now, I have not been hacked yet, although I am still using some of the recommended methods like Json file + password.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List a project and I will research into it and provide a opinion on: February 23, 2019, 10:31:08 AM
For most investors, I think not many people have in-depth knowledge to fully understand the idea of a startup in crypto. But they can understand the concept of the project, the founders and the funds invested in the project. From there make confidence to invest if they see it as a good project. I have not invested in the LTO Network project, but even if it does not meet the hard-cap, its price still increases many times compared to the ICO price, can you find out briefly about it?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your general sentiment on soft-caps for ICO's? on: February 23, 2019, 10:25:49 AM
Is it necessary for an ICO to have soft-cap or does it show a sign of weakness and missing confidence?

Without a soft cap, any project can take money from investors even if it is a potential project or a scam. That makes investors continue to be a prey for scam projects if everyone thinks like you are soft-cap, making it a less confident sign.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dying off? on: February 23, 2019, 10:23:37 AM
"September has seen the least amount of funds raised by #ICOs in more than a year. Are ICOs dying off?"

Chart here: https://twitter.com/Bancor/status/1049690978213404673
In September, of course , very few projects that have collected even softcap , but now things are a little better , I hear many projects are beginning to collect softcap and it pleases, I think the flowering is now ico and not dying !
Can you introduce me to some ICO collected softcap? I look at a lot of ICOs at this time but honestly, no ICO is interested in by investors

Most ICO projects were unsuccessful, because they had no difference that made them unable to succeed. But there are still many exceptions

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non-blockchain cryptocurrencies on: February 23, 2019, 10:17:06 AM
Hey guys, anyone invested or just used cryptocurrencies based on a NON-blockchain consensus?
IOTA, NANO and Byteball have used non-blockchain consensus but these platforms are using the new principle that created by byteball and that called DAG. Byteball was the first DAG platform which makes you able to send transaction instantly with zero fees.
Really?, I just known it now from you. I really taught theres still no crypto being created without using blockchain. Thanks for the info.

I don't know much about NANO and Byteball, but IOTA did have an article saying that they are DAGs, not a blockchain. You can read more here

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: February 23, 2019, 10:12:45 AM
In my humble opinion ethereum is way more undervalued right now compared to bitcoin I think investing in ether is way more secure and profitable than bitcoin right now good luck for all Smiley

It is true that Bitcoin in technology cannot compare to many other altcoin, it is inferior to many. But for investors, they don't think so, Bitcoin is in a position where if it dies now, the crypto market will collapse. You can say that ETH is the best platform, but it will never get over BTC
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo to surpass Eth on: February 23, 2019, 10:10:40 AM
I think that Neo will find it difficult to catch up with Ethereum by capitalization. Ethereum is now much more popular than Neo and more people trust Ethereum.
Ethereum has a lot of competitors today, but none have such prospects to exceed etherium in the future. Of course, each platform has its own possibilities for existence, but they will occupy a certain niche in the cryptocurrency market, and not lead.

In the blockchain competition between major platforms, I think there will be some brightest candidates. These projects are currently EOS, NEO, Stellar and several other projects. And I'm sure one of these projects will launch their technology to make them the most successful blockchain platform. But now ETH is still leading this race
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: February 23, 2019, 10:06:42 AM
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?

Not really, for the mean time, I am just focusing on two to three coins that I will going to put my attention into. In that case, I can fully monitor how these coins are going and performing in the market which I can avoid some instances of sudden lost.

Currently most of the major investors are interested in holding more Bitcoin. They worry that if a long-term investment in altcoin is not safe and profitable as Bitcoin if investors wait for a strong growth.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 23, 2019, 10:03:17 AM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?

No projections are accurate, and you have to look at the past when Bitcoin first reached $ 1k, it takes more than 3 years to get back to that price again. Compared to 1 year at the present time is not a long time
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: February 17, 2019, 10:21:58 PM
I think you should try trading. You can wait for growth for a long time, and if you learn to trade, you can significantly increase your capital.

To make money from trade is not easy, people I know it takes several years to be able to analyze the chart to place orders to get profit
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: February 17, 2019, 10:19:51 PM
Decentralized exchange are good in terms of security ae each users will have full and total control of his funds and portfolio. Unlike the centralised exchange where all customers funds are placed in a single wallet and prone to hack

I'm not sure if my wallet is logged with private key on decentralized exchange, they can record that password. Because if it is, I can easily be hacked
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now or never! on: February 17, 2019, 10:17:58 PM
It will be very difficult to dump the market further(it is possible, but it will be very difficult and dangerous), because the miners are already working at a loss on some coins, like ethereum. Bitcoin almost fell to mining cost price, so, i think, it worth to start to buy now.
Hello! I totally agree with you. Bitcoin cannot trade for a long time at such a price, I think that there is a future for the blockchain. I think this year will show itself better than the previous one.
If in this condition investors still want to survive, I am also sure that the blockchain still has a future. However, if crypto is abandoned by investors, it will be difficult to survive, especially to develop.
so in my opinion all depends on investors.

Blockchain is a new and proven technology. However, with crypto, in order to survive, crypto must prove that they are always developing to make the blockchain more and more recognized.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: February 17, 2019, 10:15:32 PM
Investor's now has silent mode until come to next crypto cycle. Now slowly recovering cryptocurrency market capitalization after last year crashed market. Iam also brought 38 type good coins at lowest prices. Iam holding til next year bull run.

You did it very competently. Even if you have to wait for several years, there can be a very good profit if this market grows. I think now there are still a lot of very good prices for many cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, a lot of altcoin has survived a few years after bull bulls in 2013. And those altcoin have brought in dozens of profits for those who hold them
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO VS STO on: February 17, 2019, 10:13:45 PM
STO it is a company with available assets and it opens the IPO. but 100 projects are probably a project with money available. ICO compared to STO is stuck with a pile of legal frameworks so it is not as robust as ICO
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out? on: February 17, 2019, 10:12:03 PM
For enough small amounts (below 1k USD) Localbitcoins platform is the best.
But the safest way to withdraw is using veryfied account at the trustable exchange and bank transfer. Yes it's traceble but the chance to lose money is minimum

In the country I prohibit the use of crypto for payment so we have to use some P2P platforms to buy and sell crypto with cash
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest Altcoin. on: February 17, 2019, 10:08:58 PM
cheap coins for now, I choose repme, already registered in 3 major global exchanges
mercatox
stocks.exchange
steax

RepMe is a network based on endorsement support and the blockchain social media community

These are small exchanges and not many users. I see these exchange lists a lot of shitcoin, so be careful when choosing to invest the coins that are available on these exchanges
