21  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] AntMiner V9 4TH/s Bitcoin / Bitcoin Cash Miners on Amazon on: March 05, 2018, 03:32:29 PM
Looks like our V9s will be arriving tomorrow. We'll be shipping earlier than promised to those who have already ordered. New orders starting March 6th will be shipped same day if payment clears Amazon's system before 3PM ET.

Looks like our V9s will be arriving tomorrow. I'm hoping to do a quick YouTube review on one of them.
23  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: March 03, 2018, 02:13:35 AM
New listings on bitmain's site. They're selling the 13.0 TH/s S9 with a PSU for $2k or without a PSU for $1915. I really liked the 13.0 TH/s batches the most since they seemed to be a lot more reliable. They also dropped the T9+ price to $1235, which is quite attractive if you have cheap power.
24  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer V9 4TH on: March 02, 2018, 06:38:53 PM
You have the ASIC chip listed wrong at Amazon. You list it as a "BM1350" and Bitmain lists it as a "BM1580" as do all other sellers. It has all the specifications of the BM1385 in the S7. Please update your listing.

Nice catch! Updating now. Thank you.

25  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] AntMiner V9 4TH/s Bitcoin / Bitcoin Cash Miners on Amazon for $291 Each on: March 01, 2018, 03:45:08 PM

With the minimum order quantity of 5 set by Bitmain, we're offering individual AntMiner V9s on Amazon. Obviously, this is a preorder. We have over 600 in-stock right now. Current price is $499 $399 $291 each with free shipping, but pricing is subject to change. Power supply is not included.

Update:
We've lowered the price for brand new individual AntMiner V9s to match Bitmain's pricing @ $291.00 each on our Amazon store with free shipping within the US. We also have them on eBay for $309.00 each and our own site for $291.00 each (for crypto payments and international orders).
26  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer V9 4TH on: March 01, 2018, 03:40:26 PM
Yeah, but you're missing the big points. The lowest MOQ for this miner is 5...

Fixed! We've got them on Amazon if anyone wants them. Obviously, this is a preorder. We have 300 coming in March and 300 coming in April/May. Current price is $499 each with free shipping, but pricing is subject to change. Power supply is not included. Full disclosure, we're profiting at around $30 each after all expenses are taken into account.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: March 01, 2018, 02:17:53 AM
anyone knows how to get credit overpaid
i have overpaid for $600 and they said will be credited but there is no option to mention credit and how to spent??
cuopons
85x$100
6x$200
wtf how split those i didnt order anything 85 pcs???
and no order of 6 item either??

In the past, you would need to submit a new order and then pay for everything except the $600 that you already have credited. Then you would submit a ticket asking for the $600 to be credited to the specific order.
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer V9 4TH on: February 27, 2018, 06:05:31 PM

At that electricity cost, it will still take 9 months plus to break even (without considering rental/staff/VAT/shipping cost). With those other costs included, it will be longer.

The risks:

-New stronger machines will come in and damage current returns. There are farms in the past that have gone offline with weaker machines like S7. There are also bankrupt mining farms like KNC.
-Warranty is only 6 months and it takes longer ot break even.
-Difficulty climbs even higher than expected due to new asic manufacturers

There is also the risk of bitcoin price going downwards and never going back up or just bursting, etc. Nothing is ever risk free. U have a higher chance of breaking even but it is not a sure thing.

Lot of solid points here. I think this machine is geared to only a very specific user. Either super cheap power, or some alternate motive beyond pure pricing (alt coin speculation, etc.).

I think the V9 appeals mostly to people who want to learn about mining, but don't want to invest thousands of dollars up-front. If I were just getting started, the V9 would be worth the money just so that I can make sure I know how everything works before purchasing a more efficient (expensive) miner. Besides, lots of people don't mind using these as glorified space heaters that earn a little money to offset the electricity. I have a neighbor using some D3s for that purpose specifically.
29  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What are the red lights on the S9 antimer syncs? on: February 17, 2018, 04:48:46 PM
Are you referring to the red LED on the hashing boards themselves? They should always be lit up red when they have power. If you have one that isn't lighting up, then there may be something wrong with it (but not necessarily).
30  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer V9 4TH on: February 07, 2018, 08:18:50 PM
I think most of you have forgotten that Bitmain sold tens of thousands of used AntMiner S7s when they upgraded to the S9 a couple years ago. They sold the used S7s with minimum order quantities of 500 and they specifically called them out as being used with no warranty. Considering they probably sold all of their used S7s AND these have a different chip in them, I suspect the V4 is probably a 28nm version of the T9 that was easy and fast to throw into production a couple months ago when Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash were soaring. Think about it - getting in line for more products with TSMC probably takes 3-6 months of lead time. The faster/cheaper route when attempting to catch the wave would be to use a 28nm node that aren't competing with all of the 16nm stuff.
31  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: January 31, 2018, 03:52:31 PM

I bristle every time someone suggests Bitmain uses the miners then sells them as new. Every one of mine have been new, if they were run for 30-60 days as urban legend says there'd be some sort of evidence. My urban-legend/theory is that people are buying from re-sellers and that is where this came from.

I couldn't agree more. There is no way my miners had been used before for anything more than QC testing, and I would be amazed if that even happened

This is a batch by batch situation. There have definitely been batches that were sold as "new" by Bitmain and had plenty of evidence of use, such as dust on the fans and heat sinks. We haven't seen this in about a year, but I'd expect to see it a lot more when they release the successor to the S9.
32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer T9+ coming out in China tmrw - 5000 units on: January 30, 2018, 01:54:08 PM
It is on sale now, and price is 2008 usd, but I think the price is high.
what do you think about this miner?

The price is certainly high enough to exclude anyone who doesn't have really really cheap power, but one must also consider that the cost of having a regular S9 fail after 6 months may be higher.

What are the chances that they will release another batch for half the price with a delayed delivery like they did with the A3?!

Very very slim. The A3 price reduction was because Bitmain released 10x the global hashrate when they launched the A3, thus decreasing profits by 10x. This last batch of T9+ will be barely noticeable in terms of the affect on global hashrate and therefor the "value" of the T9+ will remain high as long as Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash remain high.

34  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Launches the New Antminer T9 Bitcoin Miner on: January 30, 2018, 06:44:46 AM
It's been several minutes and not sold out. I hope this recent BTC dip at the same time the T9+ went up for sale and the lack of interest push Bitmain to lower their prices.

LOL I know, but I have to stay optimistic Smiley

Looks like they lasted 1 hour 20 minutes.

Back in stock now and they reset the 2/person limit so that one can purchase 2 additional units.

I'm in the USA and used UPS and still no shipping Sad

paid on 2018-01-17 20:07 so I feel cheated others are getting it faster.

Yep, my payment was credited one minute after yours,  I used UPS also, no tracking number and showing unshipped.  Seems like everyone with tracking info used DHL or Fedex.  I guess thats good to know in the future.

You might be onto something there. A few months ago, Bitmain contacted me about some shipments that were scheduled to go through UPS. They told us they would ship 1 week earlier if we changed to FedEx. We declined since it was a large shipment of power supplies that we did not need immediately - but your comment makes me wonder if there's a deeper issue here with using UPS.
38  Economy / Service Discussion / SCAM ALERT - CRYPTOCRANE.INFO on: January 21, 2018, 02:53:10 AM
Hey everyone,

Please note that the real CryptoCrane (that's us) only sells on Amazon.com.

I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that cryptocrane.info is a scam site designed to look like us. They are using our name and our logo while offering prices that are just good enough to be believable, but they only accept irreversible payment methods and will happily steal your money. We've already heard from multiple scam victims asking us when their product would ship. It hurts having to explain to them that they have been scammed and that we're not affiliated with these jerks.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3 on: January 20, 2018, 07:39:03 PM
Did everyones ship but mine  Huh Undecided Cry

Mine not shipped yet. Ordered 1/17 shipping UPS.
Is it only Fedex that has shipped?

Same here, ordered on 01/17...UPS...to the states...not shipped yet.  If you get a notification let us know...I'll do the same...

Ordered "2018-01-17 14:31:55" with payment date "2018-01-17 15:04:06". Shipped this morning via FedEx. Destination is the US. Expected delivery date shows January 23rd (Tuesday), but I wouldn't be surprised if it got held in customs for an extra day or two.
40  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit Resellers for Antminers on: January 20, 2018, 07:04:55 PM
We sell on Amazon and have over 500 reviews with a 100% feedback score. Just watch out for cryptocrane.info, they're a scam site that is impersonating us.
